I could not check my equipment due to a system crash as I was told. The employee didn't even come out of the fence to look at the vehicle while I was there. I drive the vehicle 17 total miles and decided not to refill the gas, expecting a charge for just a couple of gallons. I was assed a charge of 22 $(5,5 gallons) - that is absolutely absurd, that means your truck gets 3 miles gallon?Eric D.
I was not able to get a location when I returned the uhaul and was charged 20.00. I took pictures of everything and they have cameras to see when I dropped the key. Not so easy to return after hours.Kristie G.
I walked in and the young lady stated she was new and was very nice and I ask where to leave the unit she said right there on the side of the building. No problem my husband unhooked it and pulled in past the gate she opened upon entering the gate there was another women my husband said where exactly would she like him to leave it and she sternly and rudly tells my husband "All the way in the back where it belongs!" We don't work there and she had my husband pull it all the way to the back lot by himself. Completely unacceptable we would not have unhooked it if we had known how far it needed to go. Even the new young lady was shocked at how she spoke to and treated my husband.Tiffany T.

I had to park the truck in a grass lot that didn't even look like if was Uhaul property. There was signage telling me to pull if through a gate to drop off the truck but the gate would not open. Then a worker came out and said to just pull it to the grass lot at the side.BRETT W.

The woman on duty was terrific, as was the equipment, though, your 6 x12 tandem- wheel trailer, whether empty or heavily-loaded, does tow nicer than this lightly-loaded little one did. It wasn't terrible, but the tandem tows like a dream behind my Volvo XC40, which is a small SUV.Richard P.

Well U-Haul knew the whole entire time I was going to be dropping it off after hours and absolutely nobody told me anything about an extra fee that you guys called a convenience fee. It definitely was not convenient dropping the truck off without having a ride back home late at night. Nobody told me I could drop it off the next day and not be charged...MICHAEL A.

I was assisted with finding a unit in NC by Jared Merlin. He always represents the U-Haul brand in a great light. When I arrived in NC, I was helped by Joseph who took the time to walk me the through the process step-by-step. He walked through the rain to show me where the unit was and showed me the do's and don't of working and locking the garage door. He was pleasant, professional and made the experience very easy. My original drop off point was Goldmine General Store in Sherrills Ford NC. When I arrived I was informed that they were no longer a Uhaul facility. They had not been an agent for over 2 weeks. Seems your communication is lacking. This is not a complaint against the above final destination agent or the originating agent, but towards the system.GARY B.

The owners of this Uhaul facility were very helpful with any and all questions I had. Working with them and Uhaul made our cross state move much easier. This included the rental of a large 26 foot truck and use of the storage facility in Mooresville until we were able to move into our new home. I'm not a new customer. I merely had a credit compromise which caused me to get a new card. In doing so, my account could not be automatically charged. I sent and email as the first letter instructed as an option. Heard nothing. I called and got a live person and changed my card on file. I received yet another letter now with multiple late fees. I called again and waited online for greater than 10 mins until a Corp contact took the call. She ran my card complete with all late fees. I'm paid up through Nov 5th. I will make every attempt to move out all my belongings by then if possible. There is no sense in how hard communication is between customers. Montana Overman and Joseph (last name?) were ALWAYS on site, VERY helpful and friendly. The storage unit area was always clean and all of the trucks received great care! We had 10x30 and 10x15 rentals relocating from MA to NC so needless to say we spent ALOT of time at this facility. I would recommend this U-Haul location to anyone looking to be treated as though you truly DO matter!! They both put their all into making the arduous task of moving a more pleasant experience! There was a giant pole in my storage unit which took up probably about a 4th of my storage space. I also asked the person upfront if he could cancel my storage and he told me that I did not need to be there for that but it took me until I got an email about my storage payment coming up for me to realize that he did not do that. Everything else was perfectly fine. He seemed to be a nice guy and was helpful just seemed overwhelmed and overworked and i would recommend y'all get more employees. Also I do not like the fact that if the employees do not pick up the phone after 3 rings your customer service people pick up the phone. If i am calling a specific location I would like to be able to talk to that location not customer service. I wanted climate control storage and figured Uhaul has been around for a long time. When the staff took me to see size of unit inside, it was VERY CLEAN!! Even the hallways. I didn't have to search for the dolly, it was right inside the door! I feel very confident about my decision to use this storage facility!!
