I went into the office on Saturday to secure a storage unit, starting Monday. I received GREAT customer service and walked out with a unit reserved. I moved stuff into a small unit on 2/12, all went very smoothly..

KAREN G5x9 is an excellent trailer for moving my BMW motorcycle. Has a built-in notch for the front tire, lots of tie-down rings and towed easily.

We appreciate the folks in our Moultonborough branch and look forward to renting another soon.
RHONDA JThe local staff has always been excellent. Our experience with UHaul has not been so great. It took over three weeks last year to repair the door to our storage unit. We were not able to access it during that time and our possessions were not secure. We did receive one month compensation, which was fair. Also, we are not happy with the continual price increases. The most recent price increase drove us to find an alternative. We will be saving $55 monthly for comparable space.

Karen VWe rented two units for approximately nine months. We also rented a large truck to haul property from New Hampshire to Texas. Initially things were fine as we were regularly paying for the storage unit fee. However, at the end, after our stuff had been moved and a few items left behind for someone else to pick up, I signed papers for abandonment of items. Even after signing the papers as requested the storage facility continue to charge my credit card without my permission. I received phone calls from U-Haul asking that I do additional things to abandon a few items left behind like making copies of my drivers license. Which I did and emailed to them. And then they change the rules again by asking me to sign the papers in the present of the U-Haul manager. This request was done knowing that I did not live in New Hampshire. This was clearly inappropriate and I knew I was being duped.. It was only when I called the national customer service line that they stopped inappropriately billing my credit card and harassing me about a few items left in a unit. I thought the way I was treated was highly unprofessional, unnecessary, and very stressful. I question their integrity and honesty.

Howard MWhen I moved my stuff in, everyone was great and proactive. Moving out was a different story. Guy in the office refused to do anything about the insulation handing down from the ceiling and said if we cut it, I'd be charged for damages. Which I get, but then he should've done something about it because it was completely in the way. We wound up rolling it up and using my broom to keep it against the ceiling. Only possible because one of the people helping me was a lot taller than I am. PLUS, I told him I'd be checking out that day. Office hours were supposed to be til 2. We were done right around 9:30. Dude was in the process of leaving said, rather bluntly "office is already closed." Forced me to put the access key in the lock box...which, as it was a Friday, also meant I paid for a weekend I didn't use. Not impressed!!!

Joseph SCheck engine light was on and truck was running rough. Interior of windshield was filthy like someone had been smoking in the truck and it was not cleaned. Front end was very loose. Once it got up to 55MPH it shook dangerously (death wobble). Uhaul had called and requested that I drop the vehicle off at a different location which was 26 minutes from my new house as opposed to the 5 minutes it would have been then they charged me $40 for the extra mileage. Uhaul app didn't work at all for check-in or check out. It would open but freeze at any page I tried to access.
Tyler AI had major problems using the checkout technology getting my truck. Use of a touchscreen cellphone in a windy 19 degree lot and the difficulty getting phone assistance when the calls all went to recorded messages forcing me to listen over and over about the advantages of an app I already had. The app could not locate me then would not sent the ID photos until 3 different people helped me register. Connecting with them was tortureous. The cold was a major factor but often a reality in northern New England. . It took over 1 and 1/2 hours of shivering in the cold to finally get the key for the truck right in front of me.

STEVE DCorrect the staffing problem. The store is not manned at the times shown on line. I have made reservations over the phone that were not recorded when I showed up four days later at the day and time I told them I would be there. Very unreliable. I returned a trailer I rented at 3pm to find the store locked and no staff in sight. Staff is slow as molasses. It always takes a long time to process the paperwork.

He said it was a one way and I had to find a location near me and let them know I was coming. I did that and when I dropped off they said it was still a round trip and I had to call customer service. The guy in Moulonborough was very vague and didn't help or tell me the truth
Katie WWhen we first moved into the area, we had a great deal of difficulty finding a storage unit. We were placed on various waiting lists, with the belief it would be quite a while before we were able to obtain one. However, about three weeks later, we were called by the Moultonborough site letting us know one was available, and it was being offered to us first since we made such a positive impression on first contact. This was very much appreciated, and our experience with the facility was first rate…clean, secure, and convenient. Many thanks for such a wonderful experience.

Robert MHave more drop off parking. It was full when I dropped off the trailer. PS there was a person talking to herself in the parking lot. After a while she somehow got into a IHaul van and almost took the side off my vehicle.

Odell BGave us a truck with absolutely no gas. We filled it up not knowing how much we would use - we didn't use even half. The fact that there's no recourse for reimbursing for trucks brought back with extra gas (especially right know with gas prices) is unconscionable. Great for Uhaul... bad for us customers. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth re: your company.
Rachel BHours are only until 3 I was locked out because I was never given a card and I waited for over an hour in a Sunday for someone to show up and they never did!! I was transferred 5 times on hold for over 30 minutes it was horrible!!! I paid for the month and tried to move the last day could not get in.. I was charged another month after I closed my unit and cleaned it out and never received a refund!! It should be open on Sunday or at least a special number to call for access!!!

DIXON R | Expérience généraleWhen it snowed, it would enter under the door, the gate was stuck open in the Winter, gate was blocked by a return truck and when called about it, (Tony) declined to come fix it because he had to drive from Tilton and our move was canceled. I suggested he put up new signs that said "Do not block gate" but he gave me some reason about people higher up problems. Signs are soo worn you can barely read letters because they have disappeared. Other signs also need replaced. I was also quoted $160/month for B-27 but when I got there, I was told $194/month. $160/month is what helped me decide to store there, so it was disappointing to find out otherwise!!
