The day before my reservation, I was told that the location of my box truck was not going to be at my selected location and was instead going to be another 15 miles in the opposite direction of where I was moving. This type of situation only adds to the stress and the time duration that already comes with moving to a new location. I appreciate that I was refunded $50 to compensate for the additional mileage, but my timing is important to me as well. I would've appreciated if a U-Haul rep could've driven the box truck to the location it was supposed to be prior to my reservation date, rather than put the legwork on me since it was a last minute inconvenience on the part of U-Haul.
Timothy SThe truck had a bad shimmy in the front end when loaded, a little less when unloaded. The check engine light came on early in my journey snd was flashing some of the time. I stopped to at least check the engine oil and found it 2 quarts low so zi added oil but the light stayed on. I asked Google what a flashing engine light means on a Ford 650 truck and it didn't look good. But we made it! Thankful for that.

ANTHONY DI went to this location a couple of times, first for packing supplies then for the truck. Both times I was impressed with how friendly everyone was. The owner assisted me the second time. He was super nice. But I was most appreciative of how well he treated the other employee that was there. And the truck was good too.

VALERY MThe two gentleman working were great and very helpful. The truck needs to be retired. The transmission is going to fail on someone. The cab was really dirty. We also requested a furniture dolly which we were told they supposed to have 3 in stock but none were available.

KARLIN PThis location said they had a 10' available when I reserved it. One day to getting my rental they stated that there were no 10' trucks and that I would get a 15' at no extra cost. That's nice except I don't understand why I could reserve the 10' truck if it wasn't going to be available! I did not need an 15', I needed an 10'. Also, the truck we got was full of dog hair and we were sneezing the entire way from MI to FL. The truck given to us also did not have cruise control. I understand the older trucks do not have that and it wouldn't have mattered but being in a larger truck I did not initially reserve with dog hair and no cruise control, traveling from MI to FL wasn't the greatest experience with UHAUL. I probably will go with a different service next time and advise others to do the same.

STEVEN DWell u could of helped me out when my vehicle broke down. I blew a tire so I was late returning my trailer. I was charged a whole extra day. Plus I was late to work and I had to buy a new tire. None of which was your fault but u could have given me some grace.
JOANNE AEquipment is out of date and not safe. Truck had broken mirror, no a/c, fuel below 1/4 tank. There was an odor in the truck that smelled like a high school locker room
JOHN BKey broke off in lock so we were cutting it off. Manager said only locksmiths can do that. I had to pay $130 to get the lock off storage unit that I bought from you. What a crock. Rented a truck to move stuff out of unit, it had a broken mirror, no a/c.

Steven DThe entry gate issues and security card readers need updated bad. The prices for storage there at Uhaul are outrages! I got a storage unit 4× the size for half the price and all the same security features. There gates work and the unite are far more accessible. This Uhaul facility is crammed into a tiny place with way to many things going on, with makes navigating around the facilities much more difficult.

Amir AJoshua was a very nice gentleman concerning my circumstances. When I pulled in he kept me calm, reassured me and the lady I don't remember her name. I don't think I got it. She was very approachable kind and helpful. I would recommend this place to anybody.

LINDA RThe staff was super friendly and accommodating. However, I was disappointed there was no longer 24-hour access to the storage areas. I saw that as very useful. Also, there is a strong, overpowering smell of rodent waste and rodent activity in the storage area. I've seen this facility cleaner before in the past and wish to see that level of cleanliness again.

And NO proration reimbursement was given. I paid a month's rent for four days? And when I asked asked why, the M.O.D. gave me this reason: "that's just the way it works." I will never use U-haul's services again.

Jerome P | Premières impressionsThe moving experience has been stressful. Once I arrived at Muskegon Uhaul Storage after driving up 14 hours from NC...they didn't have my storage unit available. I had reserved over a month ago (GM told me they do first come, first serve). I have called the 1800 number 3 times (got a person once & they hung up on me before I could even explain), called Regional Manager (left VM) & sent email to customer service. No reply from anyone. After waiting 3 hours at Uhaul return/storage unit, I finally left & I now have a full Uhaul truck over 2 hours away with no solution. Only bright spot is a different Uhaul location (Houghton Lake) has been trying to help-GM is super friendly & answers her phone.

But they were the only place with a larger unit. They did work with me on my moving truck though which was awesome of them.
