The turn in processs took forever. I was told to go to the website, it was easy. I log into the web site to start turning the truck in, I get a system error, try again later. I call the 1-800 and there is a 45 minute wait. I try the web site in my wife's phone, get to step 3, then get system error. I download a different web browser on my phone. Get to step 3 again, system error try again later. I sat in the parking lot for over 45 minutes trying to get the truck turned in, before the web site finally worked. The entire time setting on hold with the 1-800 number and no one ever answered. It was very frustratingScott W.

There was four people working at this site. They made me walk around the back of the second building with luggage to get my own truck instead of pulling it to the front. When I got to the truck the back was filthy. I drove the truck back to the front to pick up my furniture pads. Once I got back to the front I noticed two of the four workers in the garage working on what appeared to be a personal vehicle. I will not recommend this location to anyone. Made arrangements ahead of time to move into a 10 x 15 unit when we got to town. We get there & no 10 x 15 available, even though it was arranged ahead of time. SO NOW I'm forced into accepting 2 10 x 10 units instead. So that meant I had to buy 2 locks instead of one, and I guarantee after the first free month Uhaul will try to change me for 2 units & I WILL lose my mind if that happens. This is frustrating considering the multiple problems I experienced with Uhaul in Michigan before getting to TX and being confronted with the ball being dropped here as well. Why, knowing full well ahead of time what I needed & was promised to get, do I arrive and it's not available. That forces me to except whatever since I had workers hired to unload at that particular facility & a truck that needed to be turned in. And you better believe it will be infuriating if they try to tell me later to move everything out of the 2 10 x 10 units I'm in, into a 10 x 15. I don't need the additional expense of hiring workers to move everything again. So what do you think - will Uhaul do the right thing by me for messing up my reservation and not charge me for the 2 units I've been forced to accept? Be upfront and honest of all charges to be applied to a customer's invoice. It's not hard to be honest. People will rent regardlessâ€¦..but to be lied to in person of the charges and then receiving the bill after I leave and it being totally different than what was promised is just bad business. Booked a 20ft truck and received a call day before that client â€œdidn't want to return itâ€ so I couldn't have it. They ended up giving me a 26ft truck that smelled like cigarette smoke. It sas terrible. When asked about the reservation guarantee, they said â€œno - we gave you a truckâ€. Policy online reads: Should U-Haul, through its own fault fail to meet time, place and equipment size of your truck, trailer or towing equipment, a $50 "Reservation Guarantee" will be paid and U-Haul will still attempt to fill the reservation. Dollies and pads are not covered by the $50 "Reservation Guarantee".equipment size truck was not deliveredâ€¦means you still should have provided the $50 and attempted to fill reservation anywaysâ€¦as it reads!Stephen H.

The truck I rented was not in good shape. The front windshield leaked. While driving the leak showed up. I was wet from the waist down. It was so bad at one point it filled up the cupholds in the console. Luckily the rain stoped and I was able to finish and return the truck. JimJAMES B.

Facility and the fella I spoke with were great. The 10' I rented ran great with lots of power. The box was dirty. The cab, windows inside & out, and the mirrors were filthy. Animal hair was all over the cab, I cleaned a lot of the hair, the windows inside and out, and the mirrors, after sweeping the box. I did not notice any of this until we were loading, none of it was a big deal. Although, the a/c would not maintain a steady temp, also not a big deal for early fall. Overall a great experience. Have used U-haul several times past. Is over priced but a HUGE deal compared to Penske. Will use U-haul again if needed. And, YES, I took pictures to indicate turn in cleanliness, fuel level, mileage, and outside condition.DON R.

I will say before I got to speak with Tiffany about my storage I had issues being able to get thru to the storage and I would email Diane and she would respond or return a call and would be really hateful when I would go pay my storage..Now with that being said Yesterday 9/1/22 I had the pleasure of speaking with Tiffany the new manager I had lost my job and didn't want to lose my stuff ( have a new job now) and she was amazing she listened and said she didn't want me to lose my stuff either and that as a customer made me feel good .so I was able to pay on my storage and going to be able to pay this month in a couple of weeks took a lot of stress off of me.lynda l. | Premières impressions

At Age 50+, I have used this, as well as, numerous other Uhaul locations spanning multiple States. This location at Grapevine Hwy (Hwy 26) in N.R.H., TX 76180 has always been my personal go to location for most all of my Rental needs. The Staff is knowledgeable and professional. They make a sincere effort to expedite as promptly as is realistically possible in what can be at times a chaotic environment and even apologize for delays. I know that this review comes across as a padded Review, It isn't and I rarely waste my time on these Type of Review Requests. I haven't completed a Uhaul Review in some time. Occasionally, We need to take a brief moment of our lives to acknowledge the People who ARE doing a Good Job in order to compensate for ALL the frustrated or negative People whom they encounter in the course of their normal Work . Sometimes that one "Thanks, I see the good Job you're doing and I appreciate your efforts ." keeps the beneficial Employee/ Manager so that they are there for You the next time that you need their assistance . Doesn't just apply to this Uhaul... So, this is the part that I try to help and make both My and other Customers Lives better... I fully understand the dynamics involved in the Operations of a Rental/ Storage Operation and why there is a realistic need to add rolling phone coverage for Inbound Calls. However, there are times that Uhaul Corporate Call Center isn't equipped with the Site Specific Knowledge to answer specific customer questions 樂. Perhaps adding a specified Text Capability on a Corporate to Store and Back, would help overcome this aggravating gap in the Customer Interaction Abilities of Customer Phone Calls and the information they are seeking, which is answerable only at a Store Level. Plus's Diana the general manager never called until the 4th day. Then she called before 8 am . Storage had broken glass inside it when I moved in. Employee that checked me in saw it but just left the mess. I mived out three weeks later, checked out, cleaned unit, removed lock and turned in card. Then I get a bill with a late notice attached. I called and I was told someone would call me back. We moved my son's apartment into a unit over four years ago. When we recently came to get his stuff, we found a U-Haul lock in a slot next to the lock we put on. When we asked the staff, they said that they did not have the key and that the U-Haul lock was required. He said he had been working there two years and they always require that lock. When I told him that we were not required to get that type of lock when we moved in, he said it was required back then also. Obviously he was lying as he was not there four years ago and I was. I called Diane, the manager to see if they had a remedy but alas more terrible service as she never called me back. Probably too embarrassed by there blatant incompetence. We had to call a locksmith to have the U-Haul lock removed for $173. I would never use this location and warn everyone to stay away.Donald M. | Expérience générale

I have used this UHaul as my storage unit for years simply because they provide a safe storage facility plus the customer service is very good. I moved from another storage facility years ago to this one and have never had a problem. Open a little earlier and little later would fit the average worker. You did have some AC issues early in my stay. I understood that you did a daily walk thru to see if locks were on, people had vacated, etc. That is what I was going on by leaving my card in my spot.Mary H. | Expérience générale
