The return process was not smooth. Waited around for 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge that me and another customer were even there. The associate instead of telling me the difference between what I had already paid and what was owed for the mileage he gave me the full amount which gave made my heart skip a beat. I rent from you guys 2-3x per year and have never had anyone say it like that. The guy was like oh we just hold that amount I said no it's already gone from my account you should really just give the cost for the mileage. Also while I was waiting my turn in line it felt like the associate was staring at me sizing me up or something it was a very strange/uncomfortable interaction. Also when I was speaking with him he had a blank stare and a monotone voice and really didn't even appear to be listening. I was shocked at his poor customer service as the person who helped me when I picked up the rental was excellent in every way and it was such a huge contrast.

We ordered a 17' truck and were told we had to take a 15' truck and then we were told we had to go to a different location 45 min away to pick up the 15' truck. We ended up with a 10' truck. Not as convenient as a 17'.d
Michael H.I walked in and no agent to be seen for approximately 8-10 minutes. Finally agent comes in. There were 6 people waiting at this point. I will say he was quick, but you should certainly have more than one agent to assist with customers early in the morning. Also 15' truck we rented would revert to “tow†mode each time the truck was turned off too. Poor feature, as just makes consumer use more fuel!

Customer service changed reservation to 7am next day. Location was supposed to open at 7am. No one got there until 7:15am. Awful customer service. Awful location. Awful management.

He personally reserved and guaranteed a 26' truck 30 days before my rental. I ended up having to take a 15' truck and trailer. Totally unacceptable alternative. I will never use your company again and never recommend U-Haul.to anyone unless I want to see them get screwed. Again, FIRE that useless manager or you will continue to lose business in the Newport area.

Staff arrived at 915 when it all began. The process even checking in online prior was so slow and the machine froze numerous times. The inside was full of take out trash and ketchup bottles. It seemed no one cared or was actually in charge.

Sherry R.I was really impressed by how well this worked out. Uhaul staff on both ends of the move were helpful. My Ubox didn't arrive to the correct facility when I was meant to pack it up, but the facility staff made some phone calls and got it sorted out within a half hour. When it arrived at the Uhaul facility on the other end, they hooked up the ubox to a trailer for me, and made the whole process simple and efficient. They were busy with other customers, but didn't forget about me. Also, loads of furniture pads to use and all of my items arrived safely without damage.

I do not think its the locations fault. I believe it's due to the poor construction of the trailer, and the upkeep of it in every location, or some locations! This time the damage was minimal, but in the past it has been extreme!

It was very clean...the entire facility was impeccably clean.. But, the restroom - the smell of sewage was so strong, so wretched, I nearly vomited. I did not even pee...just got out as fast as I could to catch my breath. Call a plumber quick!

When I reserved I was told I had a ground floor unit. when I got to the place on move in day I was told no ground floor units available of the size I wanted, that's not cool. When I asked about a bigger unit ground floor I was told there were none. I moved into a second floor unit, no elevator, I wasn't told there was no elevator when they told me I couldn't be on the ground floor. After loading in I decided to look around I found a unit on the first floor vacant. I went and inquired at the desk and lo and behold I got it for about 10 bucks a month more than I was already paying. The whole bait and switch scam stinks. The system for getting into the lockers is antiquated and wasn't well explained. They shouldd have a picture of the entrance way and expain to you with visuals how you get in; because the desk guy was totally unclear. You have to pay extra for 24hour access, which again is just another bogus upsell. I only need the space short term and the storage location is near me or I'd have gone else where. However, yes the staff guy who checked me was friendly which is the only reason I didn''t grade this place beyond poor. Oh, and one last thing, they have sent me four emails and two texts bugging me to review them. I wanted to just let it go but they wouldn't let me. so sorry folks here's your review, your place is not good.

Being that the entire place was a crowded, wet, truck laden area, with people running around, we had to dump many items because you wanted all units emptied, I had no place to store items, and felt rushed to empty and get out of there.
