Everyone we dealt with in person was great. But canceling after an hour when prepaid is ridiculous! I was driving that hour so didn't answer texts. Everyone locally was great but I'd go with someone else if that was an option bc of texts/emails every 8 seconds and the cancellation when I'd already paid up front. And funny no trucks available where I wanted to go but the lot was full of trucks. Corporate UHaul gives the name a black eye.

The truck smelled cigarettes and the person at the desk told someone while I was there that it is ok to smoke in the with the windows down. Next the radio was on and would not turn off. Also the radio volume and station setting was stuck. When the battery died in Knoxville, TN they pulled the fuse for me… listens from rap-talk radio to gospel… that was torture.

I had to drive an extra 84 miles to pick up the 26' truck in Sante Fe while the trailer was in Bernalillo without any compensation. In fact, I received a threatening text that the truck was going to be cancelled because I was 30 min late - I was in the Uhaul lobby waiting to be helped when I got the irritating text. The moving help (Anytime Movers from ABQ) slow rolled the job. It was the first day on the job for one guy who staggered around, and who left after a couple of hours. I fed them lunch, and then waited for a replacement to show up. They charged me a total of 5 hours anyway. And, when the Uhaul app didn't seem to work to add the extra time, they insisted I either go to an ATM to pay them in cash, or pay by credit card over the phone with an additional $30 fee. What a racket! Also, booking the truck, trailer, and help at the same time I thought would be convenient until things went south with the truck availability and pre-paying the non-refundable moving help. Again, what a racket!

When I was renting the U Haul everyone was really friendly. And the made it super fast I couldn't believe how fast I was in and out. And when I returned it I was getting ready to use my phone when one of the workers came out and told me he could check it in for me that I could be on my way. I have used different u haul places before but this is the one I will keep returning to. Thank you everyone for the fast friendly service. You guess Are the best. I will be back differently and I will tell anyone that needs a uhaul where to go. Thanks again for everything.

When I pulled up to drop off the truck, the gentleman asked for my keys and walked off when no comment or thank you. This location also charged me an additional $39 for fuel even when I returned with more fuel than when I picked up the truck. I believe that is called theft!

Everything was good except I was told I would only be charged $5,15 per gallon if I did return with a quarter tank. However, I was charged a $30 fuel service fee which I was never told about. I did not find that acceptable and a little misleading.

The gentleman that helped us was incredibly kind and helpful. An example: he saw that the trailer had not been swept out, and he did it. He was concerned for us (both older) were trying to move much stuff in the heat wave of 98 degrees in early May - he helped to extend the drop off time so we could take heat breaks. Just the kindest man!

Clear instructions. When returning the vehicle after hours the website instructed for me to return the key to the drop box by the front door. However there was no drop box anywhere visible at the location. I called To ask where to put the keys and was on the wait time for an hour for someone to tell me “I guess Just leave them in the vehicle”. That was a little frustrating and am hoping I'm not going to be charged for the miscommunication but other than that it was easy to pick up and drop off. Easy to use, met our needs. It was a little pricey for everything but that is just part of moving I guess.

Store was clean and fully stocked. The moment I walked in I was greeted and taken care of in a very timely professional manner ! Alexandria Cobb was a pleasure to work with and she knows her job well, in my opinion. She was friendly and inquired as to any of our needs for the trip. When I returned to drop the trailer I was greeted by a young man by the name of Jaden in the parking lot so that I would know where to unload. He asked me if the haul went well for me and if the equipment was what we expected. He proceeded to remove trailer. This gentleman looked me in the eye and called me sir upon every comment. This is the uhaul and storage on Lindsey St. Norman Oklahoma. I would highly recommend this location. Fisher space pen man !

The staff was very helpful and courteous. I have no complaints with them at all. I had one concern with the trailer when I got ready to load it. There was a strong smell of marijuana inside. It didn't bother me but could've cause problems if I was stopped by law enforcement since I traveled to states where it is not legal.

The people at this location treated me better than the location where I had my reservation cancelled from just because the lady over there decided so. Indeed my original pick up was at the location on 2111 alameda but the agent there cancelled my reservation and hang up the phone on us twice without saying her name. On the other hand Carli was able to get me going and took care of our needs. The truck had a a bad smell.

Everything was fine, except the actual units are not well-lit. Usually the office and access hours were ok, but when we went to move out of the unit on a Sunday, the card wouldn't work and the office was locked so we could not empty it, and our hired helpers were booked so we had to move ourselves. Someone in the office the next day gave us an extra day, but apparently did not report it as we were billed and had problems correcting it. Everything was settled a week later. Overall we would recommend U-Haul.

Storage was convenient, but not well lit (I did alot of work at night). It was often very difficult to access as other vehicles or equipment would be parked right at the entry. Otherwise, this is a great place and I will continue to use it for moving needs!

We were charged late fees twice without warning until 15 days after via a letter in the mail. I received a letter in the mail yesterday, 12/20/21, that was dated 12/2/21 for November's late fee, and we live in the same town as the unit. The November late fee wasn't even our fault, it was due to the previous form of payment not being deleted by the store employee. The October late fee was because of my debit card being hacked, us getting a new card, and not realizing the unit was saved to that card. Both fees were removed but it was tedious having to go in each time to deal with them. The gate was never closed so you never needed the swipe card, and the door to the units didn't lock so you didn't need your swipe card either for it b

We only used the indoor storage unit for 3 weeks and in that time everything we had in there was completely infested with roaches! One of the most disgusting things I have had to deal with. I called Uhaul and was told they would have the manager call me but never heard from them. Would not recommend Uhaul to anyone!

The facility was fine, my beef is with the pricing. The facility would not prorate our month. Our month started on the 14th, and we moved out that day, and they would not prorate or refund from Aug 14-Sept 14. This is unfair to customers, I don't care what the contract says, it's a terrible business practice. This survey says move out date was the 16th, it was NOT, it was on the 14th, the day my son moved into his apartment. Someone is playing funny business with the move out date. Other storage companies will prorate and since we have a choice, I will choose differently next time. No need to charge customer (a college student) for 29 days he didn't need. The total experience with the storage situation was an absolute joke, they want me to store a 30k boat between a gutted pickup truck, and a van that I'm pretty sure someone was living in it... with no gate on the entrance, or cameras facing that part of the storage facility.... with the 26ft truck rental I was told I would receive a 10x20 indoor storage area..... surprisingly they only had a 10x10 area... so needless to say, I forked out another 250$ for a storage unit at another place... on a high note, the truck drove great, and the guy behind the counter was awesome... just a bad area and misleading information

The facility is clean and the entire staff is friendly. The manager, Mr. Hosler, was very helpful. I had to call him after hours once. He answered my question and assured me it was okay to call him again if necessary. Mr. Hosler was also very supportive during moving crew issues.

This has been the most horrific experience. We rented a storage space (which has always remained empty) as a place where our daughter who attends OU could use if she needed to leave school quickly due to COVID. Our bills were paid on auto-pay. In late January, we decided she was staying at school and that we could cancel the account. Since our name is on the account, we had to complete a document and send to the manager giving authorization to close the account and cut the lock. We live in Michigan. After that time, we were billed for another monthly fee. We contacted the store and sent a second copy of the cancellation form. I have since sent them to your store manager as a reference point. The charge we received was credited. We have then been charged again, received a lien notice, another charge and a final notice. I have send several emails to Brett the store manager to work this though as well as worked with Lisa from your customer service department. Brett will not return calls nor emails. As of right now, we have lien notice against us (without merit) as well as charges on our American Express card for monthly billing when we clearly returned the unit prior (documented). I am disappointed at this service and the lack of care and concern from your store manager Brett. I have copies of all emails sent to Brett for reference. As of this moment, we still are not clear on next steps. We need some clarity and closure here. At the same time, I would strongly suggest some customer service training for your manager Brett.

Way way waaaaay to over priced. I went from paying $137 to now $54 a month by switching. I rented a 10' truck on 10/22/2020 'In town price' They lied and said I drove 50 miles when I did not. I went 24 miles. 11 miles there and 11 miles back, plus stopped for gas. 700 E Lindsey to 905 SE 19th st moore, ok. That is 12 miles there and 12 miles back!!!!!! One way trip!!!!! I went from paying $34 to $78 to $128 for 'In Town' services that advertised $19.99. Their response to me was 'Did you take a picture.' Well of course not, because I didnt think i was going to get screwed over plus it isn't my job to make sure someone can read numbers right. They made my account overdraft. So overall $128 charged for going 24 miles. Very dishonest and shady people. I work hard for my money and They stole from me and was not truthful about the numbers. I spoke to the manager and they did not help me at all. They said the numbers added up....yeah, lies. I spoke to customer service and they said I can file a complaint but the manager from a local store would contact me...what good would that do? I already spoke to them! I wanted corporates number. I asked the ladies 'Who read the numbers on the truck' and they did not even respond back. They were trying to save their jobs. I will NEVER come here again and I am telling everyone else to go to Public storage. They will get there moneys worth and they seem like very honest people. F U-Haul!!!

Actually getting access to the storage building was a pain. The lot had no path to the parking area and had quite a lot of debris in it. Otherwise, everything was easy and convenient.

Security and storage was great! However, the mobile steps felt unsafe. There were moments where I could have tripped while carrying heavy items. It was stable, but the steps were really steep.

Almost everything about using U-Haul storage was positive, except for two items. 1. The post where we needed to check-in was often blocked by trailers forcing us to leave our trucks or cars and walk over to slide our card through the reader. Not an enormous deal, just an unnecessary pita. 2. The gate whereby the storage section should be secured after hours each night was missing.

I was told when I reserved the unit over the phone that I would maybe have to walk up a couple of stairs, but nothing major to get to the upper level. When I arrived at my unit, it turned out to be an upper level unit only accessible by a set of rolling stairs, which is not what I was told and did not suit my needs. Thankfully, the staff were very helpful and were able to move me to a ground-floor unit on the same day. In addition, the day that I arrived to move in, all of the key cards were demagnetized, so none could be activated in my name, and I ended up having to leave to go to work without having moved in because I didn't have keycard access and also did not have time. When I came back the next day, the issue was resolved, for which I was grateful. I also did not feel like I was well-informed about how to swipe into the facility, since it required swiping into two different control panels, which I never would have guessed on my own. The staff member who helped me was very kind though, which was nice. In sum, the move-in process ended up being far more difficult than I thought it would be, but everything worked out well.
