The woman at the desk and the man who helped me hook up the tow dolly were great! I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes.

I called on her from the airport to arrange for assistance with obtaining storage and moving helpers. She got me in touch with Easy Days moving (also excellent and responsive) with 24 hrs and I could not be more grateful for the top notch customer service.
LYNNE K | Premières impressionsU-Haul Moving and Storage of North Nashua was a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, South Carolina did not secure my U-Haul boxes in a storage facility. The boxes sat at an auto and tire business and when my U-Haul Helpers went to retrieve my boxes they were told they did not have them. I immediately called U-Haul and was told that they were locating my boxes and that I would receive a call back - I did NOT receive a call back. I called the tire and auto business and they claimed that they tried calling the U-Haul Helpers but I was just on the phone with them and they were at a loss because the U-Haul Helpers were getting the run around from the auto tire business. Shame on you U-Haul for leaving my boxes at an unsecured location for five days. Very disappointed - what a hassle to get my boxes.

From gaslighting me to being too lazy to give me a return receipt on the spot which resulted in me being overcharged. Also the truck was on E with 45 miles remaining in the tank when I picked it up. All around very poor experience. However truck was clean and the guy who helped me put some dolly’s in the truck was very nice.
Nathan HI have been using this U-Haul for many year, even when they were down the rd. by Market Basket. Person running the u-haul location has been there for many years. Her custom service is above a 10 and always nice even when the pressure is on..

A lovely older lady employee who had actually started to get in her car to go home, told me to just drop it in the box and she would take care of it in the morning which she propmtly did because I got my final receipt early the next day.

CAROL PIt would be helpful to clarify the after hours return process, particularly that it's free when using the app and costs $20 when not using the app. I was confused when I saw the $20 line item appear in the invoice before the return and didn't understand that it doesn't pertain when returning with the app. I know there's fine print explaining this, but it would have been easy to explain at the time I rented. I returned late at night using the app, so in the end it wasn't an issue. Other than that, the equipment, personnel, selection, facility were all great!
KLAUS RIn a time of upheaval in my life, I came to U-Haul to rent a van. Your Staff was so helpful when I started asking questions about storage availability that I decided to rent storage and rent a van to enable my ability to move and store my house items immediately. I was quickly educated about the facility’s policy and procedure and was on my way to load my items in my storage space. Thank you for your help.

We did not know what we needed, but the website was amazing and super helpful. My husband picked up the trailer, in the morning. He said staff was very helpful and very nice! It was returned a few hours later and again staff was very nice. So nice that my husband has applied for a part time job, for weekends, at that location. I never thought to rent a trailer, to help with a vehicle, but this will be my go to from now on. Very smooth transaction and very nice people. Thank you

PAUL MOnly problem I had was one clearance light on the right side rear ( red led ) had intermittent function, other than that trailer towed and rolled well and was water tight post rain storm over several days.

Kevin S | Expérience généraleWhile I don’t worry about text messages, emails and data rates, I received too many of them that I ended up missing the important points. Two examples - 1. On Sunday when I made the reservation, I received two emails and one text messages. One email titles Your U-Haul Order, gave me details on the reservation. The second, titled Your U-Haul Reservation, also gave me a link for details of my reservation, but added one key bit of information - I needed a vehicle pre-inspection before renting the trailer. Even though the pre-inspection requirement was highlighted and repeated, what I saw when I opened the email was the link to the rental details and quickly closed it. It was the next day as I was going through the emails again that I saw the pre-inspection requirement. This email would have been more effective if the title had said something like Towing Pre-Inspection Requirement or Before you rent inspection needed. Or you could have combined the two emails into 1 with a section titled Before you rent… 2. On Tuesday, there were 4 emails and 3 text messages generated from renting the trailer. First email was important information regarding the trailer. The next two emails (same time stamp) were links to the rental contract. The 4th email was legal requirements with the rental, with the email title in Spanish. I thought the title was interesting, but the legal requirements were even more interesting - stipulations on what you can or cannot legally do with the rental, including driving it to Mexico or using the rental for other than personal property moving, Quite honestly, this read to me as an email being directed to Spanish American citizens and could be construed as a culturally biased email. There were also 3 text messages on Tuesday, two asking if operators gave me the telephone support I needed and one telling me to inspect and document any damages prior to leaving with the rental. Again, I missed this text message, the information could have easily been added to the two emails with the rental links, which would have made it more effective - something like “1. here is a link to your rental agreement. 2. Before leaving U-Haul with your rented equipment, please inspect and document any damage to your rented equipment. Failure to do so may result in charges…” if I had seen that or if the renting agent had mentioned that to me, I would have documented the bent-up lift handle on the trailer. On area of slight annoyance. I reserved the trailer in my name. My neighbor was helping me and we were using his truck, which he was driving. When we rented the trailer, the agent scanned in his license, and all the paperwork ended up in his name, even though I paid for everything with my credit card. Why wasn’t everything in my name? Since I don’t worry about expense deductions there is no issue there, just bemused why it all ended in his name.

Huge double drive in loading bays with automatic garage door opening sensors blew my mind! Massive elevator. The storage unit I chose was the perfect size for my needs the height of the ceiling was very surprising. I didn't measure it, but it is about ten feet tall! The ultra clean bathroom is a very nice touch. Make sure you swipe your card correctly, the alarm works! 🤣

That wasn’t the issue because they were so kind and I’m very patient and understanding. It was when the woman Debbie came in. My father was just trying to explain things to her and she gave so much ignorant attitude but if it wasn’t for my dad I would have walked out. She would cut him off every second she could because she was training which she could have simply stated “ I apologize for the wait but I’m walking him through this if you could give me more time” would have sufficed. I work at a hospital and customer service is our number one priority. I’m sorry but I never complain but it felt like she was being prejudice towards my father for being Hispanic who also retired from Harvard university and earned a degree in his free time. I’m just really disappointed because my father should have never been cut off mid sentence as she did. Now I will sue the trainees had more customer service than she did and I believe they make more of an asset than she ever will. I think she should learn from them. Not only was it such a long process but to deal with an attitude such as that was not worth it. I will compliment on how clean it is and that one trainee I wish I remembered his name was an absolute sweetheart who showed me how to work the card and where my storage was. Please give praise to the trainees because they were amazing but Debbie needs more patience if she wants to work in customer service. It was kind of pathetic.

Brian P | Expérience généraleThe day I moved out was the first bad day that I've had while having that unit the worker was rude was not understanding about the miscommunication on U-Hauls end there was Zero professional customer service I do have the lock and key I was not told that I needed to bring it I was just told to let you guys know I was moved out so I will be there tonight to drop it off I just have a job and kids that I need to worry about first but I will bring you your key and lock and hopefully I won't be charged another month because I have the lock and key and can't make it to you right this second like the other woman said yesterday

I needed packing supplies and was going to just get your run of the mill tape and boxes. The employee (I wish I knew his name, but I believe he is the only male) pointed out many other options. The bubble sealable bags on a roll have made life much easier! It is always a pleasure dealing with Deb. She is friendly and very efficient. The facility is clean. This particular UHaul represents your company very well. I hope you let them know they are appreciated. They have made a very difficult time in my life far less stressful.
