I do not normally write reviews but here's my story. Did all the paperwork online prior to pickup. When I arrived the owner was mopping an already immaculate floor. She had me driving out in five minutes. Same with the return. She met me in the parking lot. Unhooked the trailer and handed me a receipt. Yes, I would rent from them again!

I picked up the vehicle at 9 AM and was told that it was the same price and didnt matter if I returned the vehicle by 9 PM or 9 AM the next day however, I returned the vehicle before my 12 hours (8;45 PM) and yet I was charged $20 for AFTER HOURS. I was specifically told there would be NO FEE. I called to inquire and was told a manager woukd return y call but its been 2 days and I havent heard from anybody.
Randi R.Fuel gage showed below 1/2 which I brought to the attention of the clerk on duty since my agreement indicated fuel at pickup btwn 1/2 & 3/4 full. Clerk said she would update/correct the contract. When I returned to drop the unit off the attendant stated that he would need to charge me for gas since I was returning the unit with the fuel gage showing just less than 1/2 tank. I told him this was supposed to have been corrected by the clerk when I checked in but he said a different clerk was now on duty so I will need to wait till the next day to dispute it. I pointed out that I HAD ONLY DRIVEN 20 MILES TOTAL during my rental but he insisted I either go to the gas station and add enough to get the gas gage above the 1/2 mark or he would need to charge me the inflated agency rate. So I went to the gas station. I set the pump and watched the gage so I could stop it just over the 1/2 mark. I suddenly realized it had taken $16 worth of gas and the needle still had not passed the 1/2 way mark. So now I have put in more than 4 gallons of gas to cover 20 miles of use. I can't wait to see what t h ey say tomorrow when I go back to complain! Let's hire people with common sense and/or empower them to apply common reasoning to customer issues!

You should offer some type of reuse within the 24 hour rental period. It's not really fair that I had to rent 2 trailers within the same 24 hour time period.

The clerk was not helpful at all and got agitated when I complained. The ordered moving helpers had to wait until we finally had to take the 15 feet truck which resulted in 2 drives to our storage instead of one. Overall this resulted in $300 more costs caused by the completely mismanagement of UHAUL and the incapacity of the staff.
Julianna S.I was at a different location and had a bad experience so I walked out. I thought I'd give this location a shot cause it was close to my home and my experience was a complete 180. When I got there the system inside was down and you could only order online. The gentleman there was polite, professional and extremely helpful even though they got swamped. When I experienced trouble he made a call to get some assistance. I was in and out in no time. At return, same thing with a different employee (took all of 5 minutes for the return). This will be my new rental location.
Maria G.Zack was terrific, very friendly and accommodating; however, due to a disconnect with the check in staff member, when I returned the vehicle I had to deal with some attitude by the attendant who expressed displeasure that I parked the vehicle instead of bringing it to the check in area. He, then, passed poor judgement on other customers bringing in their vehicles and parking instead of rolling it up to his fiefdom. This is clearly due to a lack of setting expectations and not the fault of customers unable to read signs. Let's correct the miscommunication and attitude please.

Joaquim N.I made a reservation a couple of days in advance for a 20-foot truck. When I arrived at pure Sample Road location, they had a truck but they could not loan it because there was something wrong with one wheel. They said that the Johnson Road location I have a 20 foot truck. But when I arrived there no, they did not. I called your 800 number and they sent me to your 48th Street location, saying that they have a 20 ft truck available. But they did not. So I rented a 15 foot truck that was available there. Because the truck was smaller, I had to keep it for 2 days and pay the extra fee. That is not right. This is exactly what happened a year ago oh, the last time I rented a U-Haul truck.

Robert L.When I arrived at the location for drop off about 9 15 am place was closed we waited about 25 minutes finally employee named NATASHA showed up, she said give me few minutes I waited 5 minutes then she checked the truck and transporter then another customer came in she started helping him instead of taking care of me first, then she got up realizing what she is doing and tells me more customers are coming soon and I said excuse me but I am a customer too, finally a young employee came in she was very good and did all in 3 minutes and I was finished. but I was very disappointed in NATASHA I don't think she is competent enough to handle multi task and she is not doing right thing as far as first come first serve basis on customers.
PERSAL A.I was attended by a girl, and I self put the trailer in my car, because she didn't have nobody to help with it. And I can't to delivery the trailer on time, before 3 hours I called to there and explained her it… however for my surprise she was very rude to me and she yelled at me and hung up the phone! I'll never go back there!
Eleci J.No improvement needed. Everything went great! The truck assigned to us had mechanical issues (it happens) they gave us a bigger one at same rate. Although I would have preferred the smaller one, things happen and the second truck was a great and no delay getting started. We also brought the truck back with more gas than we got and received a credit! Love it - will use again in future!

Robert J.29,95 fee is a vehicle fee. Another 50 dollars is the rental fee. Just say what it is. 79,95 to rent a trailer. I was never told to do self dropoff paperwork. So my bill ballooned to 195 Because they didn't process anything until a day and a half after dropoff. Money was refunded by UHaul corporate.

Then my payment was blocked don't know why. Then I was set up by the same Female Rude And Unprofessional Employee you guys have working at the Location in Pompano Beach I rented from. Then got pulled over Treated Like Am some Criminal on my way to work. Then got Arrested. With No Intentions of Stealing A U-haul Pick up. No I have a Grand Theft charge for no reason on my Record. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER IN MY LIFE. IT'S WAS LIFE A NIGHTMARE . DEALING WITH THAT LOCATION AND THAT EMPLOYEE . I ALSO HAVE SOME PROPERTY IN THE PICK UP TRUCK TOO I NEED THEM .
