Our customer service person, Maria is amazing. She is "over the top" in customer service, knowledge and extremely helpful. We had a great experience because Maria was there.
BRUCE KI am not sure what is going on with U Haul, but I can feel everything is getting worse. You guys used to pay more attention on clean trucks and all that. My husband has asthma, and he had to drive 2 000 miles in a truck with smell of cigarette smoke, really bad experience and the previous time I rent U haul truck, it was so dirty, it was not this location, but that was terrible experience too. Josh was really great, and this is not on him, it is just whoever is in charge.

MARK SThe door latches poorly on both the driver and passenger side. The seat adjustment bar under the driver seat was stuck and extremely difficult to move.We needed a lot of help to get it to move.

JOEL NAfter I checked in, I was told to go find the truck in the large parking lot. The truck was not in front or anywhere obvious. After walking around the parking lot, I asked for help. The attendant eventually found the truck for me. I parked it overnight at my house and was sure to turn off the lights. The next day, after loading the truck, it would not start. I could not open the hood, as the cable inside the cab for the hood was not working. The two truck driver, who eventually came (about 45 minutes after I called) could not open the hood either. After ten minutes of his concerted effort, he got the hood to open. He placed the jumper cables on the battery. It would not turn over for the first 10 minutes, but eventually did. I wasted two hours. I was planning on making two trips, but had to reduce the number down to one, as I did not trust the vehicle would start again if I turned it off. And it had only a 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up, so I could not keep it running.

Amy random person, unannounced,, to say they know it's me at U-Haul renting a truck. I've never heard of anything like this and don't understand the pinnt. Anyone I have you call isn't going to answer a call from a random U-Haul number. Most people set their phone to screen those calls. You already have my drivers license and me standing in front of you. Isn't that good enough? Completely unnecessary and time wasting step.
JAY GPut backup cameras on all rental vehicles! Visibility is lousy without them, and dangerous.

He was very helpful in getting everything setup super quick and making sure I had everything I needed to get done as quick as possible. Far superior to many of the experiences I have had at other locations. I will absolutely return to this location the next time I need storage or moving equipment.

Robin RThe young man working the counter did an excellent job of transitioning, the gap between personally explaining things and then when I was ready pushing me towards the auto check-in AI type stuff. And call human voice on a stressful day can help a lot and he certainly provided that to me. This is a good guy good worker, good man The only problem encountered was the completion of the auto check-in picture parts were struggling to upload. I'm not sure why but this young man Wise he just said take a video of the whole car and that way it's time stamped and everything else and hopefully my picture went through anyway, but this was a pretty positive experience thank you.
MICHAEL MThere were too many furniture pads. We were not asked how many we needed and we could have just used half. We had ro drop the extras off which was inconvenient.

PETER KWe have filed a customer action claim. The trailer was not correctly attached to tow hitch and trailer popped off the hitch causing damage to my car and trailer. Trailer was dirty and sliding door was very difficult to open and shut.

DORIAN PWe picked up this vehicle not even in the lot late at night with minimal light. We did not receive any paperwork regarding inspection of the vehicle or even starting mileage or gas level, only to find out we picked up a truck we needed to fill up to make it to our destination bc the truck gas level was so low. We had this truck scheduled for a cross country trip and this is not how we wanted to start out. We were given no instructions on how to properly operate this vehicle with the tow system. The tires needed air for the fully loaded truck we were about to drive.

DEBRA AI was charged an extra $27 for excess mileage. I do not know why? I drove the truck to my destination with no joy rides. I feel this was an attempt to charge extra unnecessarily. Truck was fine however it wouldn't hurt to add cruise control for one way long distance moves. Disappointed in that.

MARISA MWaited for long time on the counter, i reserved 3 days in advanced for a covered trailer. Before a day before picking up the trailer someone called me that someone took already my trailer. But i have another under my name be for open trailer . i told him whoever took my order in the counter 3 days ago is very bad and don't know what he is doing. Them he said he is the one who took my order and he is the manager. I was ipset to him because he is so damb and nit qualify for a managerial job. i was so upset i told him if I don't have that trailers tomorrow I will be so upset and cannot set up for my weekend events. I also have problems waited long time to to return was told the trailer guy not available we have to take it off myself and get upset to the guy in the counter because I have an appointment to go.

LAUREN WThe staff at Uhaul near Raintree are always so kind and professional. I have moved 4 times in 16 years and REFUSE to utilize any other location. I literally have a Uhaul faculty around the corner from my new rental, however, I drive 10 miles - close to 10 minutes just to work with this highly professional team. Once I got my keys locked in my home and had to wait on help to arrive. The staff took excellent care to see if I had need of water or anything else while I waited. There kindness and professional atmosphere is why I will never go anywhere else. I tell everyone I know to use this location because they are truly the BEST!!

I have but on e significant, too me, issue. A week before closing my account I made a payment, $149 for the next monthly billing period. Upon checking out I assumed the unused time would be prorated and I would receive the related non-applicable amount of payment would be returned to me. The clerk conveyed this was not your policy and U-Haul would keep the balance, which in my case is approximately $100, give or take. I find your "policy" grievous. It undoubtedly iburied somewhere in the Agreement, which I and I assume most clients do not read as it would require an attorney to interpret its content. Simply summarized, my regard for U-Haul has taken a sharp u-turn after many years of availing myself of your services. I would appreciate your consideration of reimbursement of the amount for which no service was utilized. Thank you. Terry Brown 480-200-4125

She said she would close out my storage. Then two days later I get a call telling me my storage unit was left without a lock. Then I knew I had to take time to close out my unit when I was told I wouldn't need to worry about it sh would have it handled. Not good customer service.

He told me it was after hours and he wouldn't help. He also told me the screen on the login unit would be replaced soon since the screen was unreadable. Two years later it was still the same. Current management seems better. I still have a 19x10 there.

I would never want to use any other company.The pricing is higher than the other brands when it comes to storage but the personal service more than makes up for it. This is a real post not paid . This Scottsdale location has set the bar very high on quality and service. Definitely worth every penny. Stop by and see Anna, Francisco, Roxann Alan and a whole host of awesome employees… Can't say enough.

I told him I wanted to get everything done so all I have to do is unload. I didn't open the link for my drivers lic right away and had to go back an hr later. At that time I asked again to complete the process. He took down all my info but didn't charge me. The next day I tried to open the door and was denied. I went into the office and another Clerk took my payment, showed me how to open the doors and was extremely helpful.

Then escorted us to our unit and noticed one closer to the elevator with more space to maneuver and switch us to that one. She showed us the correct way to sign in and out. And she did it in minutes.

Two separate key pads 20 feet apart, each has to have 7 digit number entered to open the doors. The card they gave me would NOT open the doors the first day -- well that's the day you move the most stuff. We had to use the TWO key pads no less than 20 times to get in.
