I called this facility at 8am this morning and was asked if they could put me on a BRIEF hold. Before I could answer I was on hold. I was on hold for 35 minutes before I hung up. I did not feel like a â€œValued Customer.â€Aaron M.

Manger is not customer friendly. We have two units at this facility. I had to bring equipment in after normal hours and had an issue with access. Called the emergency number which was the manager. Never returned my call and was not able to enter. When I asked him why he didn't answer he said he doesn't respond since he is up very early. NOT ACCEPTABLEMark E. | Premières impressions

Customer service was great, but the equipment I rented was not. Truck #1155 should be retired, it has over 110k miles on it and it drives like it has 200k. The transmission slips, the engine pings and it has no get up and go. Very hard to get up to speed on a highway on ramp. The manager should contact the safety inspector and the two should test drive this truck. I did not feel safe in that truck. Sincerely, Steve FriedmanSteven F.

Train staff better. I booked using the app, and still spent 40 mins trying to pickup the vehicle. Turned out an employee had entered my reservation number incorrectly and I couldn't submit photos. It was reset twice, and failed each time. Plus, when I returned the vehicle, the module app didn't work. Kept saying it couldn't find me. I made sure that I allowed uHaul to use my location, and even logged into uHaul guest WiFi to see if that would help. But I ended up just leaving the vehicle and placing the keys in the drop box. Very poor experience. Waiting to see if they try to charge me a 20 $fee because after hours check in didn't workRalph R.

The "kids" you have running the lot should pay more attention to UHaul's processes. I returned the equipment around 4:45 PM on 11/14/2021, but it was not checked in properly. It was finally checked in on 11/17/2021 which resulted in an additional 2 days of rental charges. Now I have to waste my time getting a credit for the incorrect charge.JARED V.
I was being assisted by a very helpful woman and asked a question about a billing discount that Uhaul customer service had said would be on the bill. Another male worker started to say that wasn't possible and argued with me about it. The woman showed me the screen where the billing adjustment had already been made. Truck was not running properly something wrong with transmission and I was told to bring it back with 1/8 tank of gas and brought it back with 1/4 they still charged me 40$ for gas I called customer service and they refused to reimburse me.SHEILA H.
I waited for thirty minutes, had to have all the information entered AGAIN although I made the reservation online AND confirmed the getan the day before. Then 4(!) associates had to help me to get the trailer hitched to my car! This should have taken five minutes using the mobile app. The check in was ridiculous! The drop off is Flagstaff 4 hours later was WONDERFUL! Friendly staff greeted me, directed me, tested the equipment, and checked the trailer back in. It took led than five minutes and the service was fine with a smile!CARMEN L.

The people act overworked, at each of the locations. The trucks are super beat up. Not going there. But, I can say, your business must be super busy, because I have never seen these trucks and employees more taxed at doing their jobs. It is noticed. Guess you are lucky I have decided to be like so many, and use rental trucks. Instead of owning. Still, I hope you realize, this would be a great moment to shine and show customers you care. Early pick up was not ready couldn't get till opened making me 2hrs late costing me money missed important family event I planned properly even called day before was put on hold 3 times about 45 min altogether to try to set up but they told me pull up and sign into app that's it but that was not true at allGLEN G.

The truck I was given smelled heavily with smoke and the attendant was very indifferent and not helpful about it. The truck itself was way too old with no basic features like cruise control or any multimedia features. There was a very long delay at the check out.Pouria V.

The female agent was very friendly, quick and knowledgeable. The manager, Rodney was very nice and pulled out the cargo van that was in the back so I wouldn't have to search for it. Upon inspection I found that the van had a nail in the tire, they quickly swapped out the van & apologized for the delay & inconvenience. It was a great experience without any delay.Olivia N.

Compared to the staff in Bozeman the employees in Scottsdale seemed indifferent, unresponsive and uninformed. The Scottsdale location was huge and seemed well-staffed but there were no other customers visible when I was there and two people who waited on me gave me totally opposite instructions about what to do with the truck I was turning in. Hi, Recently I have met the two most competent people who have ever worked at U-Haul. Rodney & Svetlana(my apologies if I spelt her name incorrectly).They are truly a great example of the type of people every corporation should hire. You are blessed to have employees of this caliber working for you.They are always very helpful, kind and full of joy and willing to help others. In the last couple of months I have had to interact with them at least 4,maybe 5 times and each time they were very consistent with their work ethic. They should be used as instructors and go to the rest of the U-Hauls to teach customer service classes. And no, I am not related to either one of them. Sincerely, BillWILLIAM D.

Unfortunately I was not aware that there was a fast food bag and an artificial plant leaf left in the back of our uhaul we rented for 2days. When we dropped it off,before we had the opportunity to dispose of the 2 items we were told by a young girl that we would be charged 25 $for not cleaning out the back before we dropped it off. We were not aware that the movers had left those 2 items of which I could have easily held in one hand and threw away myself. The young girls flippant attitude while trying to discuss the situation was deplorable-a horrible representation of your company. U-Haul was dirty. Smelled bad inside, on top of this when I first went online before parking to go in it said that their was U-Hails available to pick to and drop off at another location. Register rep said their wasn't any. I told him their is as your web shows , the then in 2 minutes change the story. After I dropped it off same day in Avondale The next day the Scottsdale location was saying it's late and needs to be returned. On top of it they kept calling us all week I had to go to the Avondale dealership and ask them to let scottsdale location to quit harassing us.Jonathan G.

The staff and especially the manager are just flat out lazy. I had to ask multiple times for a card to get into the building. The worker who initially set up my account/ storage unit was very impolite and wanted to do as little work as possible. Any question was met with a very annoyed response. The experience I had here was no doubt a direct result of the manager who wouldn't allow me to leave the storage unit unlocked and with nothing in it for about a half hour whilr I went and got my lock and items I was storing in the unit. When calling into this store to try and move out I had to call in 4 times, each were met with an employee putting me on hold for over 20 minutes each time before I hung up. I never got threw to them once and had to call into the main U haul number to finally check out. I have used U-Haul a bunch of times in the past and my experience was wonderful. Not a single complaint ! This store was so bad that of I did not know how it stacked up to others, I would never use U-Haul again. This is unacceptable and in an incredibly wealthy area like Scottsdale, this entire U-Haul store needs some serious looking into.Doug L. | Expérience générale
