The employees were awesome and helpful, but uhaul as a company sucks. They GAVE AWAY our trailer the morning of our cross country move, causing our moving date to push forward FOUR DAYS. on top of that, they told me I could return the uhaul after hours if need be, so I did just that, and was charged an extra day. I will never use uhaul again.

Assistant manager lacks customer service skills. I called uhauls 1800 number around 2:30pm to extend to which allowed to extend yet the asst manager called 20 minutes before I was to return to let me know I needed to return by 9 am or I would be charged 60 dollars. He was not very professional by say it was my fault for extending!! I do not work for this company to know that someone else had a pending reservation. It was not my fault that the reservation center allowed the extension!! Policy of not I was not allowed to use the rental for a full day!!! I felt harassed and let down. They were willing to accommodate me with another truck but I would be charged again. This courtesy could have been extended or the other customer!! Spoke with Josh from the store who either way didn't give me enough notice to try to return. The vehicle at the time of the previous return time. I just feel more could have been done to accommodate the other customer! I will maintain this mistake was mot my fault if your company allowed the extension. Sherea was very understanding however uhauls Upper management lack tools to help your customers or they choose who will get the extra valued customer service that I wasn't afforded!!!

The manager in charge was completely disrespectful to myself and another customer. In my case in regards to the way the mileage was calculated on my rental he literally said “THAT IS FUCKING RIDICULOUS” This is the last time I go to this store. i am a customer and I deserve respect, this is no way to treat customers from which your employees receive their salaries from and UHAUL makes money from

I had to wait 2 hrs on a rental truck that I reserved online. I arrived for the pick up but the location did not actually have the truck. After 2 hrs of being asked to wait, I was told I'd have to come back the next day. The following day I was able to rent a truck. Hopefully future customers will not have this issue.

My unit was not properly sealed. As a result everything was covered in dirt. The staff was rude and seemed annoyed with having to do anything. Their were two employees that were pleasant but the manager especially infuriated me as he found it a good idea to play tough guy with me on my concern with my move out. Instead he came in and said do we have a problem! Instead of asking me what my concern was and how he could help me. Then he tried to justify his actions with my 84 year old father who also was not impressed with his way of his way of handling the situation. After this I decided it was not worth arguing with him and told him to stop talking and just close out my account. He then told me he could just just make me leave at which point I told him I would leave when my account was closed. His response was do you have an email to send me the receipt at which point I told him to just print the receipt and he said " you know what I am out of paper so you will just have to give me your email" I told him the go and get some "explitve" paper because I am not leaving here without a receipt! Low and behold the printer magically had paper in it and he printed it and I left. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had and I admit I was not kind to the manager throughout our interaction due to the way he came in and spoke to me and my father but if he would have handled it in a better way I would have left and probably just left it alone. Instead he chose a very poor path and as a result it is ending with not one but two very poor reviews on every possible site we can find to post a review on. And to everyone we know. This is not a reflection on All U-haul facilities as I have had many. But this location is very Poorly run.

I think better pictures need to be taken of the vehicles before they are rented out to customers!! The pictures of prior damages are very blurry and hard to make out, so when the vehicle is returned the employees try to question or blame the renter for damages already there to make money and you have to argue with them to and prove them wrong!!!

The way the associate spoke to me about having to extend our rental and that it was an inconvenience to them because another customer wanted it, I felt was rude. I understand the issue but the way he spoke to me about it I didn't appreciate at all.

App indicated that the truck was located "On the lot by the propane tank" when it was actually at the opposite end of the lot. Also, my rental location was changed due to availability, but the top of the dashboard still instructed me to go to the original location. The information lower on the page had the correct information.

The counter agent could have been more helpful when explaining what hitch accessories I needed. Frankly I was clueless as to what I needed, and all she did was point to a wall of hitch related accessories and tell me to pick what I wanted. I eventually figured it out, but I may have spent more money had someone been able to recommend what I needed.

Process to reserve a rental way to long . Each time I went to the Dyer location in Elpaso it takes at least 30 minutes. NOT enough staff available and poor internet service. Last time net work crashed, one person available to customers. IT TOOK ON AVERAGE ONE HOUR.

Their employees should have better communication with customers. I specifically told guy who assisted that i was moving out of town and he never asked or even told me that i would have to bring truck all the way back to this location. Had to pay over 600 $due to their mistake and lack of info. And their customer service is horrible.

I made a reservation online and the vehicle was not ready so I was sent to another location 20 minutes away. Get to the other location and the employee has no clue what I'm talking about and is on the phone instead of assisting me. Waste of time and gas on top of rude unorganized employees. Very disappointed. Terrible customer service and very expensive. Won't be doing business with uhaul again.

We returned the truck after office hours. It was dark and very difficult to locate the key drop box. We called customer service and my number was put into the system incorrectly, so we could not check in on the app. Overall, experience was ok. But weather and the time made dropping off stressful.

Tank was not full of gas; did not realize this until we filled it up ourselves (needle a little big disguised the way its designed). Mirror almost fell off as the screw that was supposed to hold it on was stripped. transmission leaked oil over our driveway.

I had to drive to El Paso TX ( 1 hour away to get a trailer) because Las Cruces ,NM didn't had any. Then I had to drive another hour away to take it back. This is the only complaint that I had. Everything else was easy went as planed and the trailer was good.

My sister and I got a little lost trying to find the unit and the map wouldn't load on my phone, so we ended up going in to get a map. The man we spoke to was a trainee, who took the initiative to get us a map while his trainer was busy. We wished him well at his new job, and went on our way.

I had originally moved into an outside unit during a quick relocation from out of state back in April. I later found out that with the extreme heat of ELP, that my things may get damaged being in the outside unit. I was able to get an inside unit. I worked with the U-Haul team to transfer my lease, and access a nice roomer inside unit. Jonathan and the team were accommodating and made the move/transfer easy. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly whenever I needed assistance. I've NEVER been disappointed with any of the staff in any location I've gone to (Addison, Dallas or El Paso).
