There was no lock inside the unit when I arrived but a very friendly staff lady from the other site brought me one very quickly... The facility was clean and the storage unit was nice but there were small German cockroaches running all over the Halls

No-one at the facility. It took hours to get code to get into the storage area with several phone calls to 1-800# to have any results. Then travel miles to the location to check in the morning truck Then more waiting for agent to finalize the details and pay extra for the 21 miles over limit. What a nightmare. Hours of wasted time. Never again.

I am a very concerned about not having signatures fir close account on uhaul storage contract and I believe should have signature to prove close account after move out the storage and prove customer actually did clean out the storage. Plus it would be best protection from the scammers who can rip off

I never interacted with any staff at any time during my rental period. The gates going into the lot have been broken multiple times in the last 12 months. My unit and 2nd floor was always clean

Make check I easier. No on wants to sit in 100 degrees weather trying to take pictures specific enough to please the app. I gave up.

The online approval took a bit longer than expected, however the idea that you can pick up and drop off a 26 footer on a Sunday is worth the extra time.

The staff was greatt the facility was large and easy to get our stuff into the elevator and carts made the job easy the staff made it fast to get in to our unit the truck rental was also fast an easy. I booked an air conditioned unit and spent the whole day with my family packing and when I arrived they told me that it wasn't available and the only one was a regular storage unit. A few of my items were damaged by the heat.,

Allow local stores to handle their own calls. It's deceptive to have phone numbers for individuals stores routed to a central booking channel. They don't do as good of a job understanding and communicating needs of the customer. This has happened to me on numerous occasions.

From day one she was kind and polite, very professional and extended a sense of compassion with clearly having experiences with assisting people during a challenging time of moving. I can not recall the managers name, however, she as well worked with me and protected my items from being auctioned off. I am beyond thankful and intently wish Greatness for their entire staff. I would give an advice about the storage unit size 3x4 is way on top that I been struggling lift my heavy containers plus does not fix other containers. Meaning I will give some advice to friends about the size as I would recommend them use 5x5 especially size 3x4 is perfect for two containers or filing containers, also I put comfort blanket and the fan. But I did not realize it was way too high for me plus had pain my left shoulder that I had trouble lift it on top of storage unit. However, I will change size from 3x4 to 5x5 for me and it would be more easier for me to have 5x5 where I don't have to lift my heavy containers… Thank you

I really was surprised when I arrived with my trailer and found out location was closed. Doing it on line was very helpful or else I would have cried.

Most of the storage facilities offer heavy duty doilies that are for the customers to use and return to the point where the might belong. But at this facility in Ocala, Florida, you don't have that kind of service for the customers a bit inconvenient because I was counting with that and I ended carrieing every box and hurt myself doing this because I had no other choice . Very inconvenient for me and probably for more other customers. Merci.

Somewhere on the location put contactless service self serve on our app or web portal. I waited for a long time for an employee to arrive before I finally called and found out that this was a self-serve location. Sometimes I have the tendency to not pay attention to some details so I could have been told through the app or during my check out of my truck but I must have overlooked it again. It's my fault, but it would've been a lot helpful if it said it somewhere on the location. There's some pretty crayons out there, but not all of them are bright. Haha

Charged me after I filled up the truck to where they said and I gave them my starting location and they sent me 10 miles away when there was a haul 5 min from where I started my move

The only delema was the facility was closed on Mondays and I had to go to the other office 15 minutes away. Noone told me, there's just a sign on the door. When you schedule some one s unit. Send them to the other office 1st if it's a Monday. That was frustrating. I last time and gas. :(

All of the gates are broken, so they leave one gate permanently open. Therefore, the storage center is not secure at all. There are also visible cameras in the hallways of the indoor storage area. This all seems like a crime waiting to happen.

I made a YouTube and TikTok video with all the audio and video of my experience with this location and how the manager allows people to steal and how customers are extorted. I have over 3 million followers on TikTok and 7 million subscribers on YouTube.I'm surprised this location and staff hasn't been exposed on CNN yet I did send files with audio and video to Fox News and the NewYork Times regarding this serious situation your management tried to bury under a rug … but like I told them then and I promise you now … this situation will be known to the public and what you all did to me and my family will never go away till justice had been served

Been with U Haul for many years at this facility I have never had any problems I Moved out because I couldn't afford it anymore as nothing was wrong with the facility. Once verification of certain things were confirmed she went beyond to accommodate me moving here first time alone, explained no air vent worked in truck, raining cause so much fog & etc., I'm rating all 10 for excellence.

The truck was in poor condition. Seats torn. Engine ran very rough. My biggest concern was not being told that by dropping the truck off after hours I would be charged $20. That is absurd. No one was there and I did everything myself yet you charge $20.

I had a wonderful moving experience!!!! The helper, to help load was FANTASTIC!!!! They loaded my truck in one hour and 50 minutes. I drove to Tennessee, unloaded and arrived back here, in Florida in 3 days! Absolutely NO PROBLEMS with the equipment: truck and tow dolly. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I have 2 suggestions. List your office hours on your website. The only reason I would hesitate to use a u haul facility again is that it iS EXTREMELY difficult to make contact by phone. Waiting 45 minutes for a call back is unreasonable. After finally getting through, getting to the right person is confusing and difficult.

I booked a climate controlled unit and paid for it and everything before they realized that it was occupied and that there were no other climate controlled units available. I was forced to take a non climate controlled unit (albeit given one month free for their error). Because I was in a rush I had no choice but to take it and now my items are in a hot storage facility. I am not happy about this at all. I give two stars instead of one because at least she gave me a month off due to their error. The unit also was not well lit

The office hours are different than the other uhaul offices in town. When we went to the office at 458pm....they had the door locked already bc they close at 5pm when every other office in town closes at 7pm

I would recommend including the unit locks as part of the rental. I had to purchase a lock. Each unit should come with a lock.

I chose this location because when I made the reservation online, this location would be open. Well, it was closed, so we had to do the online check in. That was a nightmare, because they had our account mixed up with another. We spent an hour on the phone with them trying to straighten it out. To make matters worse, our rental truck was parked in a way that was blocking another customers truck, which they could not move until we got ours out of the parking lot. If that wasn't enough, we had also ordered moving blankets, a furniture dolly, and a hand truck, which were NOT in the truck. I had to drive the rental across town in order to get those items. While at this location, I realized I did not have the LoadSafe insurance on the vehicle. I wanted to add it, but was told you only have an hour after the vehicle was picked up. All and all, I wasted about 3 hours of my time, which could have been spent loading the truck. Not to mention the 15 - 20 miles it cost me to get the items. When we unloaded the vehicle we had noticed some of the boxes by the one corner we're destroyed by water because the truck had leaked. But I guess nothing will be replaced because we did not have the insurance.

Everything was great until having to return it. We spent all morning trying to get the gate code and even was on the phone with Uhaul's help line and all of that, said he would put notes that we were trying for over two hours to return the trailer, someone finally opened the gate for us while on the phone with him and we still got charged an extra $20 for late fee when it was not our fault the system wouldn't let us pull up our order to return it. Probably enough to make me not ever want to use Uhaul again because of it.

The pick up location in Ocala was changed from 2 min from my house to 20 minutes and was terrible. First issue was when I clicked on address provided in confirmation text it took me to a dangerous neighborhood (I did not feel safe and was worried for my mother and myself), NOT the U-Haul location. I then manually searched the location on internet and eventually figured out where to go (40 min later). Next issue is the vehicle was never rinsed or washed after last use so the windshield was covered in bugs so bad I couldn't see through it. I told the woman working counter and asked for a hose to rinse. The woman's reply was “use the windshield wipers.” The wipers just smeared the dead bugs and still couldn't see, the woman then realized she had to drive around back to rinse off. Next, I am given a truck with 1/2 tank of gas. Well I am not sure how much gas my trip is going to need so naturally I fill it up. $80 to fill 1/2 tank of gas. I only ended up using 1/4. So I paid $40 of unnecessary gas. The truck should have been filled and then I simply replaced the used gas. Lastly, due to all the listed above I spent $40+ unnecessarily. It added 1,5 hours to trip and a lot more driving. I was stressed from being lost and 1,5 hours late, upset about having to stop and get gas and paying mire money then needed. I have moved many times using U-Haul, this was by far my worst experience. I would not recommend that Ocala U-Haul location to an enemy never the less a friend.

Rented both a drive-up mini-storage and RV storage spot. Checkin was quick and was given a map of the access/exit points. Mini-storage was very clean with a fresh rodent poison trap. Rv spot was easy to parallel park the rig. Was difficult to first find the entry to the facility. GPS was confusing. Second time in was just fine knowing what streets to take. All in all very pleased.
