audrey sThe software or app has outdated photos and incorrect mileage info. But that was fairly easily corrected. I remember when you used to have an actual person go around with you to check all that out. The old way may be better. Otherwise the staff was friendly and helpful at both the pickup time and the return step of the process. My only real complaint is that the unit price or price per mileage was too high.
SCOTT MMake it less confusing trying to figure out where You're supposed to go to check-in and get your rental. There should be signage that shows this like how it directs you where to return your rental. Make it less confusing where to figure out where your supposed to drop the key at. And make the return rental site less glitchy and confusing. It constantly closed the page and would not allow me to go further due to an error.

William BBefore leaving the facility with the truck rented, it was highlighted on the amount of gas I was to return the vehicle with to avoid extra charges. Since I was hauling a trailer, I filled gas before entering highway and ended up having 1/4tank extra filled. I wasn't reimbursed for the extra filled and given the reason that I was told the MINIMUM I was to have the tank filled to so I wasn't charged extra fees, but anything extra was at my expense and that's it. The frustration I have is that all vehicles should have a full tank of gas, because if I were to return the vehicle with less gas than the amount I started with, I would be charged to put gas in, but it wouldn't be done. Instead the new tank level would reflect the new agreement with another customer. This is what upsets me. I don't rent often and this want a situation I've encountered before. I will stated the service of the staff members is very good and when I lost my keys to my car, they went above and beyond basic customer service. Though I feel the stated reason by a staff member dimished the genuineness of such an act, however, the suggestion on their part to help is to be commended.

JOHN LI had a major problem with my rental trailer. I purchase a palette of Sod. I rented the 5'x9' trailer. However, I discovered that while the bed of the tailer may be 5' wide, the gate is not. This meant that the palette of sod could not be loaded onto the trailer because it would not fit through the gate. This meant that I had to return to the U-Haul dealership and get the next size bigger. While the dealer quickly and efficiently made this adjustment, it caused a 2 hour delay to my project. Bummer. I think the information about your trailers needs to more accurately describe the equipment as the grass dealer says this has happened several times.
Andy POver the years with my military background and work background I have traveled and lived all over the US. This was the best storage facility I have ever used. And I will definitely look into renting again should the need occur in the future.

Shazia SAfter being told and receiving a letter saying my unit would go to auction, UHaul decided not to auction off my unit and then charge me the full amount of the last 6 months of storage, which I thought was auctioned. Of course because the storage unit was empty so they would have made no money, they decided not to auction it off and continue billing me.

That's still over but I needed the truck and I think you people know that and we get stuck! Then, my rental spot cannot be billed daily! I bet you rent it though, and get paid twice for the same 18 days!! You're a rip off and I will warn everyone in know to try another facility.

I had a climate controlled unit and the temperature/humidity was always consistent. During office hours there was always someone around if I had a question. The only reason I left was because a storage facility opened up within walking distance of my home, if I ever need to come back to the Orange City U-Haul I will not hesitate to do so. I highly recommend this location.

Given the high demand for storage in this area, I am certain that the unit was rented out again within a day or two. Since I wasn't given a refund of unused rent, you doubly profited at my expense.

We were told there was no place near us and was sent to Deland, Fl. After they gave us a unit, the entire truck unloaded, we were told we were not even supposed to leave the truck at their facility. The computer showed we were supposed to return it to a place in Cresent City. I explained we tried during 800# was not open and no one returned our calls. Rep said no all places had rental units and we were sent to Deland. However, computer said we were to return truck to Virginia!!!??? We were standing in U-Haul office for over an HOUR because no one knew how to correct the problem even though the truck was sitting right in front of their office...Completely Empty. Hope we never need to use again.

If we were to turn on the small refrigerator in the RV to put food in prior to a trip, we would have had a real problem to find that it had not been running. Also, our space was not as long as it should have been because the renters behind us encroached upon ou space. Otherwise it is a nice clean space.

Mark F | Expérience généraleI was told I had access at all times. That's further from the truth. Each time I need access to mu unit I had to either have trucks moved or could nkt access. Using the alley ways in front of the storage units for your paying customers access for your overflow parking of your moving trucks is unacceptable. I spent alot on money per month to have little access. When I communicated my frustrations to the staff I was told basically to bad... it's the only place to park the trucks. Your overflow and logistics of the company's vehicles is not my problem. Access to a unit I pay for should have been their priority and resolved the problem. I've moved my belongs to your competitor and will continue to advocate to my friends and family anyone in need of storage to steer away from Uhaul storage.

Some of the employees are so unhelpful is incredible you have storage business. And the parking is so congested, confusing, narrow and busy it's so frustrating to get in and out. Unless you just don't want or expect females doing the driving and putting the belongings away. On top of that U-Haul ought to be thankful that the vehicle arrived before expected, with the necessary gasoline, and in the same shape it was rented instead of having petty charges!!

The manager Phyllis was always kind and helpful if I had an issue which was maybe twice in the twelve years that I was there. If I could transport the UHaul in Orange City to where I now reside here to Texas, I would in the blink of an eye. This location is stellar.

It was always clean and the area for loading and unloading was large with lots of room to move the carts provided around. The only suggestion I would make is that the carts should have a brake as they move around when you are loading and unloading so you need to have at least two people or three for heavy large items so once can hold the cart.

It was also where people parked to have access to the indoor storage. I got blocked in more than once, and had to detour around the building twice. If they could have put a card reader closer to where my unit was (WAY in the back row), it would have been easier.
