First of all, I scheduled a trailer to be picked up and dropped off on transit road in Depew which when I showed up to pick the trailer up Uhaul had changed my location to 25 minutes out of my way. So not only did I have to drive through rush hour traffic half an hour out of my way, when I got there I was informed my $45 rental would be $150 if I did not return it to the same location. Then after finally getting the trailer loaded, which it was now dark outside, I realized I had a tail light and a license plate light out. So now I had to drive home in the dark with a trailer without all of its lights, and I had to drive back out of my way to drop it back off.Eric J.

My only issue was that the last 2 times I rented a van, I requested a dolly and when I arrived, there were none available. It would be easier if that option was removed from the website and simply offered at the time of rental WHEN THE ITEM IS AVAILABLE. Otherwise, great customer service and a reasonable price.Lynne O.

BEHIND THE SEATS ON THE FLOOR WAS A LOT OF GRASS AND GARBAGE AS IF AN ANIMAL OF SOME SORT WAS BUILDING A NEST IF YOU WILL. WE POINTED OUT TO STAFF AND SHE SAID SOME CLIENTS ARE MESSY, BUT AGAIN, IT IS STAFFS' RESPONSIBILITY TO CLEAN BEFORE RENTING OUT TO NEW CLIENTS. IT WAS UNCOMFORTABLE FEELING LIKE A VERMIN MIGHT BE HIDING IN THE INSIDE OF VAN WHERE WE SIT. I REALIZE TRUCKS ARE TRANSFERED FROM ONE CLIENT TO THE OTHER QUICKLY, BUT ALSO A SAFETY CONCERN. THE LAST TRUCK WARNING LIGHT WAS FLASHING OIL CHANGE PAST DUE. SO, NO VERY DISPLEASED, WILL NOT GO BACK, NOT TO MENTION, MIS QUOTE OF FIRST RENTAL AND TYPO FROM A WEEK TO TYPE A DAY RETURN BY MISTAKE, RECEIVED A CALL LATE RETURN AND DEMAND A $100 UPON RETURN. POOR WAY TO DO BUSINESS, NEVER RENTING FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN. IT IS IMPORTANT TO BE QUICK BUT IT IS EXTEMELY IMPORTANT TO PROVIDE QUALITY AND ACCURATE INFORMATION. ALSO STAFF STATED CALL CENTER DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, UNPROFESSIONAL STATEMENT WHEN WE PICKUP AND RETURN WITH FULL TANK TO LOCATION HAS FLAWS I HAVE MENTIONED TODAY. I immediately was told the gas was at â€œhalfway when I got in and it was not. I drove 15 miles, put some gas in and was still charged $16 for â€œ2,6 gallonsâ€ of gasoline. Absolutely asinine.Dylan P.

Everything was perfect I can't think of anything that could be improved upon from the ease of Rental took me less than five minutes at the counter to the very professional helpful woman that waited on me to the ease of dropping off I was at the office picking up and dropping off less than 10 minutes altogetherGreg B.
The service is advertised as not needing to interact with store staff to rent a truck, but I had to wait in line and get a key from the desk clerk. A little misleading. I requested two dollys and moving blankets with my rental, and during pick-up they were not included with my truck. I spoke to desk staff and they said those items weren't available (no notice). However, staff were able to locate a dolly in the back room for me. Again, misleading since the service is advertised as 24/7 online, not needing to interact with staff.JUSTIN Y.
I had to wait an hour past reservation time to get the trailer I rented because the previous customer brought it back late . I would recommend a larger gap in reservation time to overt this problem or a late fee .James D.

I was overcharged for gas I didn't use. With the mileage I used, it was physically impossible that I used the gas they charged me for. Before returning the truck, I refilled the gas tank back to full but was charged by Uhaul almost $50 to refill it. The truck I received had someone else's furniture in it and the floor was extremely greasy. I am very disappointed.Natalie C.

Manager could have resolved an issue at the store level and could have been more customer friendly. She should have listened to my complaint and take my option into consideration. I was given a quote and order number over the phone. Upon arrival I was told that what I booked was not an option and I'd have to pay significantly more. After being transferred back and forth between departments, and absolutely no accommodation by the Orchard Park site, I ended up leaving with my items and canceling completely. The inconvenience of getting into the storage unit between ur open hours madebit difficult since I work second shift and it woukd have been more convenient to stop on way home from work. But the fees/fines u gave for being in my unit after hours is the most ridiculous thing I have heard of with storage units. Which is the reason for me leaving!!! The installation of the hitch on my vehicle was unsatisfactory. When we drove it home the passenger side brake light did not work. Upon returning to the location to ask to have the installer check the light he would only say â€œEverything worked when I completed the job.â€ When I brought a receipt from a car dealership service department indicating a wire was not attached the manager offered to reduce labor costs on my bill to cover my payment to the car dealership. Everything else related to trailer pickup and drop off was excellent.Norman K.

Booked through a gentleman and he said I could leave truck in Fredonia. I get a call the afternoon before I move saying I have to bring it back to orchard park. Then they proceeded to charge me miles both ways! I asked for manager to call me when I returned truck and the lady at the counter told me she would leave a message. It has been over 3 days and I have no response. I also booked movers from here as well. I booked with Kimya and the movers never showed! The owner would not communicate well with me. The other movers we hired in Fredonia from T&A were wonderful and efficient. Overall, I do not recommend this location very poor customer service and costing extra when it should not.Ashley R.

I had a brand new GMC van, you should reintroduce this model for the entire fleet! Fuel economy was well, backup camera eas extremely helpful. Cage cargo area felt secure and sturdy. However, I would build covers to go over the interior of the back wheels to prevent damage. Other then that, two thumbs up!Michael W.

Upon dropping the trailer off, the young man stated he was going to send me a receipt. I did not get a receipt. I received a call from another location (which was the original drop off location) that I did not drop off the trailer. I had to call the Orchard Park, NY location and demand a receipt. Making that extra call was annoying and took time out of my day. They should have sent me a receipt via email right then and there.Jennifer S.

Some of your people are so toxic that I will now go to this store only as a last resort. I had a hitch installed on my new car and rented a 5x8 trailer 2 weeks later. Some people were so unpleasant (an assistant manager and his girlfriend) that I went elsewhere to buy the bike rack, kayak rack & roof rack. I'm also shopping for my own 5x8 trailer. To be fair, many of your people are really good but a few bad apples make everybody look bad. Also, some of your policies put your people in unnecessary conflict with customers. I stood in line and had to listen to a guy who had to be out of his apartment for month end and had a 1 way rental to move from Buffalo to New Jersey. He was given 2 days notice that you wouldn't honor his reservation. That put him in a terrible position and that's no way to treat a customer.Mike N.

The truck that was given to me was pulling to the right. The brakes pulsated when applied. I was also charged an additional hundred dollars for mistakenly locking the keys in the truck. Had I known there would have been an additional charge for mistakenly locking the key in the truck I would have called the local police department to come and assist for free. I absolutely will never use your company again and I will also advise anyone that may ever ask for a recommendation for a moving truck to go else where. And that is sad for me to say since this is the third time in almost as many weeks that I have rented from that I haul location.Andrew N.

I don't care if I came in two minutes to close, until that door locks at closing time I expect to be able to complete my transaction. A simple equipment inspection is all that was required for return, it's not like I was opening a new contract or buying 75 boxes. You could have been done in 30 seconds.David K.

We were extremely impressed with the facility and staff. We stored on the second floor because we were concerned of potential dampness, however, after several visits we learned that due to climate control we were doubtful that would have been a concern. The facility was kept clean and safe. The staff extremely polite, helpful and professional. It would have been nice to have lighting inside the "stall" but not an absolute necessity, otherwise the overall facility was well lit. The price was comparable to other local storage places but far exceeded the quality of the metal free standing storage sheds we had visited at the time. So far, so good. Just moved in!! Pleasing and approachable staff. Good location, hours, security and parking . Clean and dry (not damp) inside storage area. A service elevator would be nice to access second floor areas and a little better lighting inside the cubicals, but neither are necessary. We rented an upper 10x10 and a lower 15x10 unit. We were NOT told that the upper unit had a huge roof support beam running through the unit. When we checked in, we asked for another unit without a beam. We were told they only had smaller units available without the beam. During the entire time I had my storage unit, I cannot think of a single instance when I was not fully satisfied with the facility and the staff. I was always treated courteously and professionally, and any questions I had were answered quickly and completely. I ended my rental because I no longer required it, but would not hesitate to return if I needed one again.
