I rented a space and it was occupied for over a month and I paid while someone else stored. I was hit while in storage. Then storage was cancelled abruptly with no notice and all fencing/security removed with NO warning. I was charged for a month of storage after cancellation. The place is a joke!

We moved our own u-boxes. They were not ready for pick up or to get when we wanted our boxes back. Even though the second time I called to verify and was told they would be ready. It is a joke that you can not get through to the local number when u call and the national number does not know what happens locally. For a company that has established a great name for themselves over the years, your service has sure fallen short of expectations.

My uhaul was missing some of the equipment I purchased. The staff working was able to get them for me. The process to return the uhaul was confusing at this location. Didn't know where I needed to return the uhaul but the staff was helpful. It was very busy as it was the 1st of the month. I would used this service again for another move.

Greeted nicely when walked in. Had a problem with trailer light but she willingly switched trailers to try another one. I was surprised that there were boxes left in truck. We were hopi g we wouldn't be charged if we left boxes in trailer when we dropped it off. We weren't. I also didn't know we could have hired help to move items. Wish I would have know. That sooner. I would have done that, but great to know for future.

My reservation was for a completely different pickup site. Neither one of the two phone call reminders told me I was picking up from a different site, 15 additional miles away. They didn't offer to bring the truck to the reserved site and told me they didn't have the equipment I reserved. Very disappointing experience!

We had a storage unit, and water leaked up through the concrete floor, and ruined a queen size memory form mattress and box spring, a king size mattress, we were able to salvage the box springs, and our leather reclining sofa and love seat. A young lady that worked there came and took pictures to show the manager and said he would be in touch, he never contacted us. I went in three times the manager was not there 2 of the 3 times, he was there the second time, I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes, the counter person informed him twice I was there to see him about some sort of reimbursement for the losses, since the damage was not in any way caused by us. It was cracks in the concrete that let the water seep up through the cracks. He had the counter person, come tell me to call my insurance for the damages. I spoke to a family member who practices law here in Moorhead and was informed that damages were/are not mine nor my insurance company's responsibility my attorney, due to poor design and poor craftsmanship. I am not seeking a full reimbursement, which totaled over $4800.00, I requested only $800 for a down payment for the replacement beds and a new sofa and love seat that was financed. I believe that it is more than fair. I have been out of town 8 of the last 10 weeks and have been unable to get this taken care of. I would like to resolve this matter as quickly as possible. The truck was fine, however, they didn't have the furniture dolly I had reserved. The employee who was helping me said she'd remove it from my reservation, but the next day, I got a call from uhaul wondering if I was going to return the dolly I was never given in the first place. I explained the situation, and it all worked out, but was unnecessarily stressful.

The manager would not rent me the unit I reserved. She would not honor the promotional free storage unit with a truck rental. I will never use Uhaul again. Terrible service.

All the customer service that I received from U-Haul was great. Returning the U-Haul was a very poor customer service situation, as the attendant really did not use good communication skills. This was a one off from all the other experiences that I've had with U-Haul customer service.

The online, after hours drop off site did not work for me. It kept bringing up the wrong order number and there was no way to look for a different one. I had already been delayed enough at the Brooklyn Park location and didnt have time to mess with a website. I just dropped the trailer and left.

do something to know your customers I had to give a friends phone number to them and they contacted them at work all because my drivers license was from mn which was just across river from this location. when I complained about it they said fine do not rent from us if you want to be rude.I need another truck in about 2 weeks I will look elsewhere from now on.when you treat your customers like criminals that is what you will have for customers if any!!

Regina was AWESOME and such a huge help...the Uhaul in Kalispell incorrectly recorded the odometer in kilometers so when I dropped it off in Fargo there was a overage of $1 050 in miles. I knew I didn't drive it anywhere except from Kalispell to Fargo. Regina researched everything and found the problem and refunded my money

I like this facility better than all the other u hauls around town, it seems to have more to offer. The staff is is more up beat ,better trained and more willing to help you. They don't just stand around and look the other way when you come in. The place, cares things out to your car for you, helps you. Askes questions to fit all your needs so you get the right products and are more than willing to help you..

The actual trailer, hookups, and person I interfaced with were great. The overall experience of reserving and confirming showed significant gaps with Uhaul process: 1. Initial “reservation” online was quick and easy. 2. When I called the day prior, my reservation was changed without me knowing it - to pickup in Minneapolis instead of Fargo. Found this out with the text confirmation message. 3. I called again - and got it straightened out. Also found out my online form was a “request” and not an actual reservation. Could have been I missed this in the form - but this seemed misleading. 4. Day of rental - the pickup location changed again, and so I called a 3rd time to make sure where I should go. 5. Upon showing up to get the trailer - the person at the counter only had rentals for “in-town” and not one way. That person said there were notes on the rental from someone I talked with on the phone to rent it to me anyway. So they did - but there were not any dollies (also on my rental from talking with folks on the phone) which could go one way. 6. I ended up buying one moving dolly and it worked. My main take away - Uhaul's coordinating between their main touch points - online, phone, in-store - have work to do. This was not the fault of any one person - but of an overall ownership of the customer experience. Uhaul exposed me to its internal complexity and operational siloes. If I can try another service for a trailer next time - I will be tempted to do it because of the seeming lack of coordination - and that an online order does not guarantee anything.

We didn't know we would lose our reservation if we didn't show up exactly on time...our fault....but please tell the main Ave store worker he needs to learn how to be nice. No need to yell at someone for something they didn't. A simple explanation would have been better vs a "I am grumpy and hate my job so I'm going to take it out of these people" tone of voice.

Sign on the side states “Smooth Ride”, so smooth it knocked a strapped chest freezer out of the straps and onto its back. Was given the truck with the “Engine” light on, truck ran terrible. Very bad experience!!

I was very impressed with my experience at this Uhaul location compared to other experiences. I was mostly impressed with the employee Muhammad and his patience while dispatching my truck, answering phone calls, and dealing with computer slowness. Very calm demeanor which I wish more people had. I'll use this location again based on this experience.

Had problems with using after hours turn-in APP.. The biggest problem is the national customer service line.. an automatic 20 to 30 min wait. she was no help for leaving the trailer by use of APP.. I will use U-Haul again.. Second why do you ask only about the local dealer and nothing on National.. That's where the problem is...

I waited in line for nearly an hour to get my vehicle. It was a Saturday morning so it was rather full but the gentleman at the front counter seemed to be all alone in the facility and also did not seem to be very experienced so people were coming in faster than he could get them out. Once the manager showed up, things started rolling pretty quickly. My return was relatively painless

This was as confusing experience as I rented a 5x10x10 space. I received an e-mail that my locker number was 2021-23 not realizing this number was two separate 5x5x10 lockers. I initially thought the -23 was the row number not realizing it was locker 2021 AND 2023. I went down to the front desk to confirm which no employees present at the front desk or in the rental office but finally figured it out on my own.

The Uhaul was not at the correct location. Had to drive across town to pickup and no discount offer for that mistake. Also, did not get pro-rated for half the month storage. Paid for a full month when only occupied for 15 days.

When I went to move into this unit, the door was partially frozen but I was able to open it. I unloaded my vehicle and then realized that the door would not close due to ice. I asked for help at the office and the lady was very nice and we chipped at the ice for 20 minutes with no luck. She then moved me to an inside unit.

This facility was very clean and the previous manager(Bret) was awesome. I did my business there because of Bret and his employees. I am sad to see has has left and is one of the reasons I moved out when I did. I have not heard anything good about the new manager

The storage facility is great. Feels very secure well kept and employees are very helpful and Great to work with. Just one question: I paid for a full month but did not stay that long can I expect any kind of a refund????

The person who handled the pickup of the truck and reservation of the storage unit was extremely helpful and patient. He was alone but showed considerable patients with everyone with a smile.

The main door has some issue to put my code to get in. The staff came to help me put the code and it still did not work. Had to run to the side door to put the code to check in. I changed a storage unit from an outside one to an inside climate control one. When I checked out the outside one, they deleted my both units. But when they added me the inside climate control one, the Asian lady asked me to pay again for the mistake her coworker did. And she told me because it was not done by her and by her coworker. She could not do it and had to charge me.

Truck was not available at the place we were told so had to drive to another U haul. So that was not as convenient. Then we were not told that we had to pay for miles when we rented it.

I have asked since early June to have 2 vehicles spaces checked on in the back area since it is extremely hard to park in our spot due to vehicles sticking WAY beyond their spot and over the lines into our spot. Each time, the staff just says that they can't reach the customer. Well, if the customer is not following the rules that UHaul posts, then have them towed in order to meet your own rules and expectations. Sounds like no one wants to take action, just take the money and move on. This location is very convenient for us but the frustrations out weigh that.

The outside storage area is not well organized, with parking spots overloaded, which made it hard to get my boat in and out of the place. I decided the hassle to maneuver is not worth it and found storage elsewhere.

Uhaul was fine, The Uhaul movers Leo Dempsey came to our house and criticized us for having cat hair in the couch and said it was disgusting. He stayed on his phone, was lazy and complained and wanted us to rent another uhaul for the next day at around 12:30 pm he just started with his 3 guys at 8:20, his 4th guy left early in the afternoon and he wanted to charge us for 12 hours and 4 guys. They took long breaks and an hour and a half lunch that they wanted to be paid 200 per hour for 11 They wanted to put all the boxes in garage. My wife was there for most of this and the one guy said he was going to sue her and said his back was hurting. The guy that left early kept asking my wife to give her my daughters guitar amplifier. I was there for some of it and I have to say that it was a very bad experience. $1 800 for the day. I probably won't use Uhaul movers ever again. My wife wanted to add that they complained about having to go up and down stairs.

We have used a lot of storage units over the years and this one is hands down the best! We have recommended to friends and family who have also used it. They are helpful, the storage facility is always clean and we don't worry about break ins as it is very secure. The carts they supply are an extra bonus and so helpful in transporting your items to the units.
