Previous renter left cable lock on door of trailer. Had to cut it off with the help of employee who checked me in.
Lea A.The actual trailer, hookups, and person I interfaced with were great. The overall experience of reserving and confirming showed significant gaps with Uhaul process: 1. Initial “reservation†online was quick and easy. 2. When I called the day prior, my reservation was changed without me knowing it - to pickup in Minneapolis instead of Fargo. Found this out with the text confirmation message. 3. I called again - and got it straightened out. Also found out my online form was a “request†and not an actual reservation. Could have been I missed this in the form - but this seemed misleading. 4. Day of rental - the pickup location changed again, and so I called a 3rd time to make sure where I should go. 5. Upon showing up to get the trailer - the person at the counter only had rentals for “in-town†and not one way. That person said there were notes on the rental from someone I talked with on the phone to rent it to me anyway. So they did - but there were not any dollies (also on my rental from talking with folks on the phone) which could go one way. 6. I ended up buying one moving dolly and it worked. My main take away - Uhaul's coordinating between their main touch points - online, phone, in-store - have work to do. This was not the fault of any one person - but of an overall ownership of the customer experience. Uhaul exposed me to its internal complexity and operational siloes. If I can try another service for a trailer next time - I will be tempted to do it because of the seeming lack of coordination - and that an online order does not guarantee anything.

No need to yell at someone for something they didn't. A simple explanation would have been better vs a "I am grumpy and hate my job so I'm going to take it out of these people" tone of voice.

I was mostly impressed with the employee Muhammad and his patience while dispatching my truck, answering phone calls, and dealing with computer slowness. Very calm demeanor which I wish more people had. I'll use this location again based on this experience.

The biggest problem is the national customer service line.. an automatic 20 to 30 min wait. she was no help for leaving the trailer by use of APP.. I will use U-Haul again.. Second why do you ask only about the local dealer and nothing on National.. That's where the problem is...

It was a Saturday morning so it was rather full but the gentleman at the front counter seemed to be all alone in the facility and also did not seem to be very experienced so people were coming in faster than he could get them out. Once the manager showed up, things started rolling pretty quickly. My return was relatively painless

Daniel S.I felt very bad for Muhammad who was the only one working at the site. I was there just after 7:00 AM and by the time I picked up my rental their were five groups waiting. You need to get more staff on Saturdays especially when that Saturday falls on the last day of the month.
Mark K.The experience was ok. When I arrived to do the return, there was 1 person working and many people in line. He was doing the best he could. I waited 45 minutes to return the rental truck. Many people in line were upset. Additionally, I was told that if I returned the truck with additional fuel I would get a credit on my rental which did not happen. My rental had 1/4 tank when I received it and I returned it with 3/8 tank. Overall the experience was ok but not great. Thank you. Amanda

Jason B.Our pick up time was 8:00. We arrived a little before 8:00 and were third in line with just one guy at the counter. It was 8:30 before we were hooked up and ready to go. A lady employee arrived around 8:20 to help, which did get us processed faster. But when you have three customers scheduled to pick up at 8:00, I recommend having enough staff to move them through the process faster. The gentleman who helped us was very polite and helpful once we got help. Everything other than the wait was great.

They've always taken good care of me there and they let me rent the truck even though it was already reserved for that afternoon. Which gave me an hour to get it back, I only needed 30 minutes. Worked out for everyone.

Uhaul needs to a better job notifying customers of changes like that.

I was surprised by the extra day fee - there was extremely poor communication about this excess fee. Very disappointed with Uhaul for effectively hiding these fees.

This particular location seems to always have different people every time we come but they are always pleasant, efficient, and helpful. It's our second home at this point.
Julie K.This was as confusing experience as I rented a 5x10x10 space. I received an e-mail that my locker number was 2021-23 not realizing this number was two separate 5x5x10 lockers. I initially thought the -23 was the row number not realizing it was locker 2021 AND 2023. I went down to the front desk to confirm which no employees present at the front desk or in the rental office but finally figured it out on my own.

Beginning gas guage was 1/8 lower than paperwork showed. So, you can open when advertised, give customers their full reservation time if it's your fault they couldn't get the equipment on time, and mark the fuel level accurately.
Lezlee J.My complaint is about the truck. The shocks and suspension were so bad that wilt was 5 hrs of hell driving it getting bounced around. Also, my wife had a family dresser with a mirror. We took the mirror off and packed it in the safest way possible. All the bouncing up and down destroyed it. I paid a pretty large chunk of money for a truck that was a hellosh experience driving.

I unloaded my vehicle and then realized that the door would not close due to ice. I asked for help at the office and the lady was very nice and we chipped at the ice for 20 minutes with no luck. She then moved me to an inside unit.

Had to run to the side door to put the code to check in. I changed a storage unit from an outside one to an inside climate control one. When I checked out the outside one, they deleted my both units. But when they added me the inside climate control one, the Asian lady asked me to pay again for the mistake her coworker did. And she told me because it was not done by her and by her coworker. She could not do it and had to charge me.

Blaine F. | Expérience généraleI have asked since early June to have 2 vehicles spaces checked on in the back area since it is extremely hard to park in our spot due to vehicles sticking WAY beyond their spot and over the lines into our spot. Each time, the staff just says that they can't reach the customer. Well, if the customer is not following the rules that UHaul posts, then have them towed in order to meet your own rules and expectations. Sounds like no one wants to take action, just take the money and move on. This location is very convenient for us but the frustrations out weigh that.

PATRICK G. | Expérience généraleUhaul was fine, The Uhaul movers Leo Dempsey came to our house and criticized us for having cat hair in the couch and said it was disgusting. He stayed on his phone, was lazy and complained and wanted us to rent another uhaul for the next day at around 12:30 pm he just started with his 3 guys at 8:20, his 4th guy left early in the afternoon and he wanted to charge us for 12 hours and 4 guys. They took long breaks and an hour and a half lunch that they wanted to be paid 200 per hour for 11 They wanted to put all the boxes in garage. My wife was there for most of this and the one guy said he was going to sue her and said his back was hurting. The guy that left early kept asking my wife to give her my daughters guitar amplifier. I was there for some of it and I have to say that it was a very bad experience. $1 800 for the day. I probably won't use Uhaul movers ever again. My wife wanted to add that they complained about having to go up and down stairs.

They are helpful, the storage facility is always clean and we don't worry about break ins as it is very secure. The carts they supply are an extra bonus and so helpful in transporting your items to the units.
