Excellant service, equipment, pricing, and support

WALTER M1st, the pickup was very nice and enjoyable to drive. However, when I picked it up it said it needed the oil changed at approximately 7500 miles so not sure it was being maintained. 2nd, I was told that they needed me to bring the pickup back in as it was to go to auction and they would send me back out with another one. I was being billed once and sometimes twice a week with no problem of having the available funds in my account to cover the billing. I had some money to pay the mileage fees and told her I would need to wait for my social security check to come in, in a couple weeks on the 3rd Wednesday of the month as well as another paycheck from my job which I was using the pickup to get me to work at my job that pays more than my social security check. My vehicle was down and I was working on it to get it running. The 2nd reserved pickup that I was told was sitting there waiting for me was denied which stopped me from getting to work meaning loss of income to pay my bill. I've had to go on leave from work now because I have no transportation. My pickup is down with transmission shifting issues. I've pulled the transmission and installed a new torque converter but that didn't fix it so now I'm pulling the transmission pan off and removing the transfer case which has to be split in half just to change out and install a new speed sensor. So I'm losing income that I needed to make so I could pay my bill. I'm 70 years old. I have no wife and I have no kids to help me. There is no one to help me so I'm stranded until I can get this pickup back to running. I was given a Uhaul. number to call about making payments for the mileage and told I needed to pay something like 170 dollars by the 12th or be in trouble. She was somewhat aggressive and not pleasant to take to. I'm short on the money needed in that account. I have a hundred in cash in my pocket and just over a hundred on my walmart account or payroll card but I have no transportation to get to walmart to pull money from that card as well as even getting to the bank to make the deposit. But yet I've been told by a woman in your payments department that I'm going to be in trouble if I don't pay that 170 dollars by the 12th. I only needed that Uhaul pickup a little longer to keep my stream of money coming in from my job while putting this transmission back together on my Nissan Titan. I don't need the aggressive talk. I need the help from an understanding person. Without transportation my hands are tied. And my social security check won't be deposited until the 19th, over a week away. I'm losing over a thousand dollars by having to go on leave. Money that I could have put towards my Uhaul mileage bill to get paid up. That's gone now which means I'm not going to be able to make a big payment towards my Uhaul bill from my social security check because I have to have it to live on and can only pay a smaller amount towards the Uhaul bill. She had the 2nd pickup reserved for me and then when I got there she changed her mind. I returned the pickup with a full tank of gas and had spent several hours giving it a super cleaning. All the daily billing was kept up and I only needed that 2nd reserved pickup a few more days. Uhaul has made a lot of money from me this year and I get treated like this. Needless to say that I'm disappointed.
LLOYD MI had originally rented a 12 foot trailer with a ramp. When the trailer would not work for what I had attended, they graciously swapped out trailers for one without a ramp that would work.

carol aDon't refuse my service. Not allowing me to rent a closed trailer due to my vehicle being a type of Ford Explorer because of law suits all years and type of models from 2005 and 2012. Made it difficult to move with no help.

MICHAEL WThis is a "Wow" location! It is a huge U-Haul center, with every type of truck or trailer U-Haul has to offer. Very clean and well-organized. Our return process was very easy and hassle free. If we ever need a U-Haul truck or trailer in the future, we're going to that location.

MICHAEL WOverall an excellent facility. The one issue I had was inoperative lighting outside one of our storage units ( a double unit). This issue was mentioned to staff when we originally moved in to the unit. It was mentioned again when we visited the unit to bring more items in. The issue remained unresolved when we moved out, more than a month after bringing the problem up to staff.

ANNE STransaction was flawless, service was quick and efficient. The equipment was clean and worked perfectly. The only thing that would make it easier is if they delivered it to my house, or just transport the stuff themselves. Before they respond, I know they have the box service, but I rented a trailer so my point stands LOL. Really great!
SCOTT KI received the vehicle with 80 006 miles. The paperwork said 80 005 miles. I said I would drive 20 miles. I returned it with 80,026. I was charged $1,41 extra. It's the stupidest thing ever to complain about $1,41 extra but the mileage should be exact. Not when it is pulled up to me and dropped off and it rolls over to the next mile. If I have to EAT the $1,41 as a customer, UHAUL should have some grace in the mileage when they drop off a vehicle with incorrect mileage. Maybe a 2-3 mile grace for situations such as these.

PHIL VManager on duty seemed like she didn't want to be there, very unfriendly and I felt like I was bothering her. Rental wasn't next to the building like it usually is but out by the road instead. When I rented trucks you move in the winter I was given two separate months rental for storage for free and they allowed me to put both on the same unit, so I asked the manager if I could do this again since I rented a truck the weekend before and got a months free storage and then came back to rent again during the week to finish up moving but was told no that's not a thing and I'll have to move units after the first month. Seems very inconvenient and not a great customer experience at all. Disappointed since I've had nothing but great experiences up until now. Will have to move again in a year and not sure I'll be back

ROBERT PThere was something wrong with the truck. I'm not sure if the incorrect gas had been put in or if it was a transmission issue. I told the male attendant when I returned it. It was slipping when it shifted. Increasingly got worse on the return trip to the store Kelly the manager was amazing. I spoke with her in the phone before renting, went and looked at the truck and the storage unit before making a decision and then dealt with her during the renting process. The can't say enough positive about her. Every place should have a Kelly. Thanks for the positive attitude and assistance with every thing.

JON W | Expérience généraleThe one thing you MUST do is install a 2nd elevator. The elevator is slow, I understand that. However when Baby Boomer's got my 2nd load they were delayed over 2 hours just standing and waiting for the elevator in line. There was a company moving a bunch of big stuff out. That was just 1/3 of my stuff. To give you perspective, when Good Greek put my things in storage it took 2 men about 3,5 hours. - Install a 2nd elevator - it will pay off in the long run. Your people are great. Kelly took such good care of my from my first phone call from Florida. The young fellow who checked me out was also outstanding. He looked information up for me and then went up to get 2 lock off of my units for me. I am 71 years old and had been unloading things in my new home for 2 days and was exhausted. I asked if he would and he was glad to do that errand for me. (there were no other customers waiting for anything so he could). All the people at that facility seem like they go above and beyond. Even when I was putting my stuff into storage, I remember the fell who cleans up because he, obviously, cared so much about the facility, people he worked with and appreciated his job.

First, interrupted me while I was talking with no interest in what I was saying by talking to another Associate, second time of interrupting me to answer a phone call without asking me I would hold on or anything. Treated like I was stupid multiple times, during the whole time until I said something of how she was treating me, same lady who got me my U-Haul a few days prior who wasn't disrespectful during that time. Even a moment I asked a question, responded like I was stupid and even looked at another associate to show them how stupid I was. She had the other associate (associate she glanced previously) take me to show my storage unit, gave no instructions at on how to use the code machine or even showed it to me. Never even showed me the drive in part or how to use it especially when buzzers are going off like crazy. Couldn't even find my unit. I honestly was so upset after that experience.

The employees were the website kept glitching 13 July 2024. I still don't have my U-Haul or my storage And I have I need to move immediately and I did not guarantee $50 as it says on your website reservation you do not be there to pick up your truck. We will guarantee give you $50. I'm a very unhappy customer at this point, I still need a U-Haul and a storage unit , and no one is trying to help me You all system was glitching rerouted me to places that I did not want to go was way out of my area of destination we are in Springfield, Missouri

Austin G | Premières impressionsBEST EVER STORAGE FACILITY!! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! All of the storage units are brand new, indoors, climate controlled and all units have an alarm on the door. It is very secure and they actually have several indoor drive in bays for loading and unloading. This is quite helpful in bad weather and also at night if you're there alone you can actually close the bay door and it locks behind you keeping you safe and secure inside while you load or unload. They have several sizes of storage units and their rental fees are quite reasonable. There are no contracts or extra fees as their storage units are month to month. This facility also installs trailer hitches as well as rent pickup trucks, and various sizes of box trucks and trailers for moving. At this time they have a move-in special that is rent a trailer and get your first month's rent free. It is a very simple and easy process to rent a storage unit at this facility. Kelly is the person that rented me my unit and she is very good at her job. She is professional, knowledgeable, very hard-working, very good at multitasking and quite helpful. She went out of her way to make sure that I was satisfied with my rental experience. I would most definitely recommend doing business with this facility!
