Car trailer showed some usage but everything worked and was perfect for my needs.

I had made a reservation a week in advance for a 6x12 trailer. And the store told me they gave my trialer to some one else. Then they set me up with a 5x8 and when i opened it up there was trash and food in there like a hobo was living in it.

The lot & store are spacious.. experience was great. Only thing was that access to the service counters was somewhat difficult as there were many moving items and bins in a direct path to them. Maybe relocating the counters to the middle of the store entrance would be more customer friendly? Either way.. easy enough and great customer service! Everything, including the price was A+. Thanks

My experience was good. Mr. Gustafson and the staff were commendable and helpful to me. One time, or even twice, a staff member walked me to my storage unit to tell me how to something I could not do myself. I would return, absolutely.

The customer service is above and beyond at the S. Cobb St. location. The trucks I rent are always very clean and I appreciate that very much.

The stock online and availability seemed a little off. I drove down there to inquire in person and was able to get what I wanted. Quick and great service.

The windshield needs to be replaced. The crack that runs horizontally across the windshield happens to fall exactly within my line of sight. (I'm 6'1”). If I were a little taller, or a little shorter, it wouldn't be a problem. Driving four hours looking through that was tiresome. The local U-Haul team rocks!

I ended up using the 1 800 number they had me out of anchorage then Palmer. That was really confusing then Palmer transferred me to tuscon and tuscon wanted their delivery fee before it even left Alaska . And called three times for that then I took at least 3 phone calls to get it delivered to my home in saharita when it finally arrived in state it came early so I called to have it delivered and the guy told me the computer wouldn't let him so I ended up paying a whole months rental because the the computer wouldn't let me schedule that. And that sucked so all in all I would say it's an ok service but you have to prompt a lot and check everything thoroughly or the local store will screw it up in my case Palmer and tuscon

Truck had a mechanical issue with the tow switch. Seemed to be a short. Comes on by itself going downhill with brake on. Otherwise a good trip.

Diane, the owner of this location, takes a personal interest in each of her clients. She works alongside of her people, making certain that clients' needs are met. I had to move a piano, and my husband has been ill. She helped me to find help to move it, found the tools to make ie easy. I've utilized uhaul for years, but have never experienced this level of service.

Lots of inventory here. They had a little trouble finding my reservation because I had to extend due to travel delays, but was a good experience overall.

Might find another storage facility to go with next time overall I enjoyed the place but the staff never seemed on the same page and even months after telling them I’d moved out of a storage unit and didn’t need it they still didn’t understand that I didn’t want the storage unit in my name

I have had a storage unit in Wasilla for several years. In the winter it was cold, the door was difficult to open, and with no electric, it was dark. Your U-Haul unit it like stepping into the LIGHT! Easy to get into, clean, well lit, and Amanda was so helpful!

The team at the Palmer location are amazing and friendly. When we arrived after a 6 day trip from Reno NV to Palmer AK they were exactly what we needed to make the end of the trip stress free. They even found out that Reno did not offer us a free months storage rental at the drop off location for renting the trailer. They got us a unit that was perfect for what we were storing. We did not have a single issue from the moment we arrived. We will be using this location again if/when we need it in the future.

Cargo van rented wreaked with bad odor. Tires to air out, all day but next morning still wreaked and called the shop. Explained the situation, we couldn't use the van bc I did not want to contaminate my belongings. Bin ok'd, so brought back to exchange. Rod helped me when I came to exchange, he had another female employee bring the new rental out for exchange, then he went out to get info on the cargo van. Upon his return he thought I was the female employee and made a comment that ‘the CC smell is not that bad. Would not bother most people' I could barely drive the van home and back. I went into full blown asthmatic attack driving it home. Then when I took the exchange box truck, paying full price and gassed up on both rentals, it had not been cleaned, filthy windshield, and door would not shut all the way. I had deadlines to get things done but bc of all the fiasco, my schedules were scrunched. Unprofessional behavior, goofy small talk, but when things are business related all of a sudden we're not so happy and def not professional. Will never rent from this location and I will tell of people my experiences. Contract # 97104055 July 2023

Renting this unit was an unexpected pleasure. We had rented from another vendor, but when we returned the truck, we were offered a tour of the units at Palmer Uhaul, and cancelled the other contract. We have been treated so well, the facility is clean, bright, easy to access….if we ever need another storage unit, Palmer Uhaul will be our go to!!!!

Where do I begin? First, I scheduled the appointment online for 7 pm. I got called the day of the appointment saying the appointment date needed to be rescheduled (apparently the website was supposed to say 7am; it didn't). Without an apology I rescheduled my appointment for the following Monday at 7am. The worker said they don't start installs until 8am and it could take hours instead of the 60 minutes I was quoted. Customer service was terrible. Definitely would NOT recommend this facility others.

Customer service was great! I was greeted with friendly staff that were very helpful. Highlighting the parts of the contract that would be important later. Specifically how much gas I would need before returning the truck. So I wouldn't incur additional gas fees.

The haul would not lock when we had it full of our stuff, so we had to leave it unlocked overnight . If there was a door key it sure would have been nice to have it

Reserved a 26' truck, was supposed to pick up at 2 pm for a 2 day rental (needed to move out on the June 29th, couldn't move in until July 1st). I called earlier in the morning to see if I could possibly pick up earlier. They were expecting a one way back in, but unsure of time, so would call me if it came in before 2 pm. The individual I spoke with confirmed that my 26' truck would be available at my reserved time of 2pm. When I came to pick up just after 2 pm, the agent at the counter apologized that I hadn't been called, the 26' truck I had reserved was not available, only a 20'. I was asked if I still wanted to rent…didn't have a choice, it was moving day and just had to hope everything g would fit. Turns out it would not. I called the 800 number and was put in touch with the local manager by the name of Rod. While polite and apologetic, the best he could offer was free overnight storage so that we could get everything moved out. This meant loading up, driving 24 miles round trip to empty into the unit, then 34 miles round trip to pick the items up. Rod offered to give one day free from the 20' to offset the milage. I appreciated the effort, and at first thought it would work and accepted. I then did the math and realized that outside of milage, there was also fuel and time to consider. The extra miles was well over the $36 free day, plus the fuel. Adding in the extra 2 hours drives time, plus loading and unloading items twice it just wasn't feasible. We ended up loading as much as we could into the vehicles of every single person helping us, where the items then sat for nearly two days. Most definitely an inconvenience.

The tie down straps on the auto hauler I rented were in very poor condition and needed continual re-adjustment in order to keep the vehicle I was hauling secure. The staff at this location were friendly and helpful.

Very displeased with this interaction, usually have decent experiences at this location, but this time I had reservation for pick up at 10am got a call about 30 mins before pick up saying the previous guy hadn't returned trailer yet, but I was already on my way into town for trailer then had to wait 5 hours while there was 3 other transporters in the lot

My move in experience was very good. My only disappointment was that although I reserved a unit a month ago, the size I reserved was not available at move in. Secondly, I received a "complete move in" link and would receive a free lock for completing documents online - following it only told me that I couldn't complete the process online. Otherwise, staff and the facility were very helpful and kind. My experience was great other than those two minor things but wanted to make sure you guys are aware that the technology side isn't lining up with real-time it seems.

First off Fred is the only one there that can help you .they don't stand behind there hours. that state 24hrs access to storage units...And they send so much paperwork every month it's silly on top of emails .....uhg The ones in office most days cannot help ,they all seem so confused 樂 they left us without access to our storage cause no one could cut off a lock... For two weeks!! Im just so glad to have removed our things . Bye......

Elliot was not friendly, passive aggressive and borderline inappropriate with his behavior. I asked the other worker what was wrong with him while she was showing me around (she was the manager and wonderful) and she said he was 'weird'. I don't think Elliot has emotional intelligence to recognize that his behavior was borderline aggressive the way he spoke to me. It was very odd, sort of like he was challenging me as the consumer. Hard to explain actually. Maybe there is video footage from 1/9 at around 1745. The manager was great and professional, unlike Elliot.

The press board would leave splinters on the luggage I have and I was able to use a wallpaper brush to clean the floor best since dust would collect fast. May I apologize for coming and checking out after 10pm quite a bit, when someone renewed the month due to the payment reminder error, they did not recognize that I had paid for the additional access. At times, I came before 5am and if I would park in front of the door of the bay then it would open right then. As I would see it on a dog walk, I knew when was right to come over and it made it fun, it always felt safe, thanks also for the awesomest plowing effort, without the terrible beeps, in all of Palmer. It was absolutely critical for me to transition from farm work in the fall to a later job and I grearly appreciate your example. It led me to decide to do work in what I feel is right and I can best benefit rather than for high pay. I'm likely going to connect with the non-climate control option up here in Fairbanks soon, going to see it today. Have a blessed holidays, thanks!
