I rated the service as poor based on the shipping from panorama city. The shipment was pushed 4 times and arrived late. What pisses me off even more than the shipment being late is the fact that I wrote an email to your customer service over 5 days ago and never got a response, I will NEVER use your company again and will do my damndest to make sure everyone I know does the same.

I just can not believe that I drove the van less than 50 miles, had it for a little more than 2 hours, and it still cost close to $70. Your "$19.95 a day" advertising is a SHAM!

There was a minor issue with being able to place the boxes in my driveway. They were at my house on time, but had to go back and were actually placed Early the following morning. Nate came with the original truck and was very patient and gracious. He helped me contact the store to help sort out proper delivery/placement. The following day, Ariel delivered and placed the boxes for me. She was awesome! Excellent communication, she extremely helpful in trouble shooting orientation, she even pointed out that one of the boxes was resting on a seam in the concrete and therefore wasn’t sitting evenly - then moved that box again!! I’m very pleased so far!

The gentleman that rented me the uhaul is named Terrence . He was really friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me many rental options and suggestions. I would rent again from them. This Panoma City location was clean .

I had a reservation for 9am. I was called @ 7:30am to be told that my reservation had to be pushed back to 11am and I had to go to a further location. I went 19 miles to this new location only to find out that the truck was not ready and my reservation had to be moved to 3pm. I had to call u-haul to explain that it would be too late to pick up a truck @ 3pm and an inconvenience to come back out of my way. I stood on the phone while they searched & found a truck at a 3rd location where I had to drive to. This location would be the Panorama city location. This location was very well kept & the staff was very professional & helpful. Although i had to wait an additional 20 minutes to be helped, the person who helped, made it worth it. His attention to detail justified the wait time. However, I find it completely ridiculous that I had to run around to find a truck when I had a reservation. My day started 5 hours later than scheduled!

The only issue I had with this service was I got an email saying the credit card I provided was declined. I called right after I got this email on May 11th. A nice lady helped me and for the longest time while on the phone with her she said she couldn't figure out how to update my card. Eventually she said she had updated it. Days later the mover tried to pick up our u box container but there was an issue with my credit card. I had to call u haul again and turned out my card was not updated when I called on 11 May. Another nice lady helped me and actually updated my credit card. She said she was going to transfer me and she told me to tell them to process the payment. I was on the line for 45 mins, and kept getting transferred to other people and no one knew how to process my payment. I was so frustrated that I just said forget it and I hung up. I called back later in the day and the first person I reached was able to PROCESS MY PAYMENT so the movers could pick up our u box container. So, this was my only issue. The movers were great etc. Thank you!

It was a little nerve racking to not be able to schedule the initial drop off of u-box until the day before, but in the end it all worked out just perfectly. The driver in CA was the best & driver in OR was also very good.

I did not order a 20 foot truck but they didn't have a 15 foot truck. After changing my order to a 17 foot truck they told me I couldn't rent it one way. They re-booked the 20 foot truck. I did not realize they added moving pads to my order and charged me $10 for them. I called and was told not to open them and I would get a credit when I returned them. The guy at the return store refused to credit me and told me to call the store I had rented from... who had told me previously that the return store would credit me. Now I have to call again and get a manager involved. Aggravating and a WASTE of my time! I never ordered them and now have to fight to get my money back.

Every U-Haul person I dealt with at the Pan City location, including Chris, Sergio, Virginia and Ariel, made me feel welcome and cared-for. The team is knowledgable and customer-focused. U-Haul attracted my business with their superior customer ratings, and I now know how the company earned those high marks.

FIND SOMEONE ELSE FOR SHIPPING. -horrible customer service. Either untrained or don’t care about YOUR stuff -hidden charges everywhere!!!!! -will not answer you in a timely manner -lack of communication across the board If you like being frustrated and helpless at every turn, then please use Ubox. At almost every intersection I had with a Uhaul staff from the store in Los Angles, to the head quarters to the store in Parma oh, they either provided me with information that was just flat wrong, or didn’t know the answer. It seems like they were poorly trained when it came to ubox. At the LA store, they didn’t collect one of my 3 boxes for pick up to be shipped because they didn’t speak with the delivery person on time and date. My boxes were to be shipped that weekend and they were 3 days late leaving because of lack of communication with the delivery person. They also charged me extra days for the trailer for their own mistake. In Parma, the local ubox rep used her personal cell phone to call me to schedule drop offs but when I called her back she kept ignoring my call later to find out she was “off work” during the weekends. According to the store she was the only person who could help me so I had to wait three days for a response. And when the job was done the stores forklift broke and I had the boxes sitting at my house for a full week!!! Headquarters was not helptful either, they wouldn’t respond back to my calls when they said they would.

Eddie has been there my past three recent rental returns. My face lights up when I see him! He sincerely automatically gives the best and most complete service...from the heart. Though this is not my closest branch I will continue to go the extra miles, because I Really appreciate the excellent service. Both Chris the Mgr and Eddie REALLY care! Ps I have been using UHAUL for over 50 years. THIS LOCATION IS BY FAR ABOVE AND BEYOND, ON EVERY LEVEL

When you send out text messages about when the equipment is due, it should include a time along with a date. I received a text message stating the date only and was charged because I didn’t return it on time. I had no idea there was a time constraint.

I was hoping for a smooth uhaul experience but this was far from it. My u box leaving from LA was great but after that Uhaul was the worst experience. I had to call to make sure my Ubox arrived okay, I was never notified of the arrival of my box and I can’t even begin on the customer service at the snellville GA location. Not ever using ubox again.

The above Average was due to the cleanliness of the establishment and the truck but I will never go back.......I have rented AT LEAST a dozen trucks in the last 12 months and I have NEVER EVER been asked provide a reference in the case of an emergency and then that referenced being called before the truck was given to me. I am feeling like the owner of that business was stereotyping me. It was NOT appreciated at all.
