Letting your customers know where to pickup their truck would be helpful. I was renting mine at McNeilly Rd. Had know idea it was moved. Also you know you have a morning rush on weekends. How about another employee at the counter 1st thing in the morning. I had to figure out where the truck is wait in line on a bad leg and back, (military injury/ and No seating). Then, I find out you DO NOT offer a military or a Veterans discount anymore. Things just weren't going right. This also took away from us being able to get things done in one day. I lost 2 of the able bodies to hat were helping to pack truck because of delays. The best part of my experience was turning the truck in!!! The process was Quick, easy. The individual who helped me was friendly, knowledgeable. He helped me w all my questions. And he was funny, He brightened my day.TINA C.

Upon arriving to the U-Haul drop off location I asked the young man that was there cleaning a truck a question and he was very rude and walked away and could not help I understand that the location didn't open for 15 minutes but I still don't think he needed to be so rude 2 me ,then a man named Travis iron came and he was extremely helpful he is a wonderful employee even though there was still 15 minutes until opening he did not hesitate to help and I am so glad to have met him and have him help me with all of my questions thank you and Travis thanks again!RAE W.

Completed on line check in including uploading all documentation and payment at the guidance on the pre rental notifications i received do to Covid precautions. arrived at location to pick up truck and waited 30+ minutes to speak to agent in lines that were not socially distanced. Once with the agent she seemed to not know what to do and struggled with expediting the rental. She took my documentation again and evenentually said the truck was outside and that was it, There was no discussion about truck inspection or that i should be expecting a text message to complete a delivery inspection. Later that evening when looking at my phone i saw the text and try to complete it and could not because the link expired. I needed to call the 800 number and wait probably 20 minutes to let UHaul know of the pre-existing damage. Overall the truck did what it was supposed to and froim a mechanical standpoint was fine. If you had a question about the personnel being helpful at the pickuo location it would have been rated a 1 star.JOHNF S.

Absolute mess! From beginning to check out from the Pleasant Hills location. They initially "lost/couldn't find" my reservation. Finally found it. I inquired about a lock for the truck and was told by Clarissa "all of our trucks come with locks". Not the case. I waited in line to pay and when my turn arrived, the gentlemen processing the checkouts told me to wait and summonsed another couple to the counter. UNACCEPTABLE especially when waiting in line for a period of time and needing to get home to pack the truck for my move. Two kids running around getting the trucks and pulling them around had no idea what they were doing. Avoid this place at all costs!John R.
My experience was great, the staff was organized, quick and professional. The truck was clean and we'll maintained. I had a toll that had no option to pay cash. I'm not sure how a "toll by plate" works with rentals. Had I thought it through I would have grabbed the easy pass from my car. It was only 2,30 $, so I just added extra gas to make up for it. we weren't given the correct truck that matched the truck online, which was confusing when we were looking for it in the lot. same size truck, but the numbers were wrong. plus this location wasn't my first choice, it got changed last minute and put my move behind by an hour.Leeanne S.
Very busy and a bit chaotic. I waited almost a half-hour, when returning the trailer, for a representative to disconnect the trailer and process my return. The parking lot and traffic flow were congested and confusing too. That said, the workers are very nice, polite and professional. I'm sure I'll use them again.Daniel B.

Well my experience was not what I expected from U-Haul of me renting previously in the past. I spoke with the manager and told him that the front windshield was dirty, the passenger side seat had dog hair on it, and the back turning signals not working... Overall I'm glad I wasn't pulled over for having that vehicle for short. Of time... I just expected better expectations from renting from U-Haul location like the one I rented from SMH got to do better next timeDAMEON D.

I am being charge for gas when I received the truck it did not have a half a tank when I book this I asked for a 20 foot truck they called me days later to tell me I have to take a 26 foot truck and then I ended up with a 15 foot truck because the 26 foot truck would be too big to fit in my driveway if I would've gotten the 20 foot truck I wanted in the first place I would've been able to move everything in one load.I do not recommend U-HaulWENDY B.

I got charged a 6,75 $ fuel surcharge after filling up the tank to the exact amount suggested 1,5 miles away. Seems a little grime-y.DAVID M.
The rates online for uhaul in general are misleading! No where near the 19,95 $ amount listed or the quoted amount -50 $ after inputting info. Be prepared to pay 90 $whether you rent a truck for 4 hours or 8!JANE L.

Horrible experience! Customer service was horrid! Arguing among themselves, nobody in line, had to wait several minutes, lack of saying hello, miserable and got charged 20 $for leaving after hours but app doesnt work. I rented a few times in the last few years and the same everytime. Its amazing how these are the same people that were crying for help not too long ago are conducting themselves like this. I looked at the reviews are most said excellent customer service. It appears these are false reviews. I would like to meet these people personally.Lawrence K.

Met with Jessica this morning, and she was top-notch professional about everything. She explained everything clearly and concisely. There are other UHaul places closer to us, but this one at 5 Clairton Blvd is the first one we'd dealt with with we moved to Pittsburgh 3 years ago. No one explained to me that there were steps to get to the unit which we found difficult but our main issue was the height of the unit. We had a truck full of furniture that would have been too tall to fit in this unit and also a fridge. I was never told the type of storage I was offered was short. So only a small load of stuff was brought there. I had to rent another place Saturday from A normal style storage unit. The uhaul storage was free to us however the unplanned mileage put on the uhaul truck cost me extra money. I will be contacting uhaul about this because not only did I have to rent a unit elsewhere I now put an additional 20 miles on the truck. And ontop of that I'm going to have to pickup everything I did put at the uhaul facility another day.Matt C. | Premières impressions

I made several trips to move out. Once, the sliding doors weren't opened. This was around noon, so it wasn't because it was off hours. This made it very difficult to move out using the door, which is down a narrow hallway. I called to let them know it was locked and waited on hold for over 15 minutes. Apparently, you get kicked over to a hotline when you call. She was no help, said to just go inside and tell them. I said I will not, that nobody wears masks that work there, even though it's required by our Governor to wear them in businesses. Once, I came a little after 7pm, and access to the storage units were closed. Online and on the sign, it is posted that OFFICE hours close at 7pm, however it states that access to storage units were to be until 10pm. Wasted trip all the way down there. Because of that, I had to scramble to move out the day of. There is always junk in the parking lot, at least by the loading dock where I frequented. Because I made so many trips every day to my unit, I noticed some used band-aids a little further down in the hallway. They were there for days and to my last day, were still there. Everything is so dark and dingy inside, also. Rent kept going up. Once, I received a notice that they were painting, so they needed to raise the rent to keep it maintained. When they painted it looked fresh and new. However, it was not maintained. I noticed when I was moving out, that several holes were patched all around, but never painted over. So, all you see are all these spackled holes everywhere. Lastly, as I mentioned, nobody there wears masks. It took me over a week, making a total of 30 trips to move everything and so I saw several times throughout the week of employees talking close to customers with no mask on. Whether it be showing a customer a new unit inside, behind the the counter at service, or them showing or receiving storage trucks from customers, they never wore a mask. I saw all customers wear them. There is even a sign in their window to please wear one upon entry. I understand it's inconvenient, I know, I moved wearing one the whole time. The unit was clean, but I was extremely disappointed to find that my large storage unit was located on the 2nd floor with the only access to the unit was to carry large, heavy items up steps.
