LAWRENCE RNothing. I was completely satisfied. Special praise to the local mover in Minneapolis, GO 2 MOVERS, who picked up my U-Box from the Plymouth depot, brought it to my home on time, and did an excellent (and fast) job loading everything into my 2nd floor apartment.

JOHN FI have used this location many times, and it has always been a smooth and easy experience. I used the self check-out this time and was able to grab my rental van easily and without having to go inside to the desk. Checking back in, I was using the self check-in option, but somebody was out there and helped me do it faster than I would have got it done. I was out of there less than 5 minutes from pulling in. They have always been fast and friendly when I have used this location.
SHANE KIndoor return system for the winter months. In other words that is the only thing that could make it better. it was a perfect return, no waiting no hassles. It was a pleasure to return. The retail space was very clean and organized as was the lot. I'll be back to buy propane as I did not know U-Haul sold in bulk.

GLENN LIf I didn't have to get gas I wouldn't have drove the extra mile and had to pay extra. Also the mobile check in was a little slow so I ended up just going inside to finish check in. But over all everything else was good.

Lee IThis was my first experience renting a UHaul storage unit. I was surprised at how clean and well maintained the building was. It was a relief to learn that the facility has an indoor dock to unload and load my furniture. Everytime I was there I saw Lwana, who was always busy making sure everything was in tip top shape but took the time to show me how to navigate the facilty. If I need extra storage space in the future, I will definitely return to this location.

I.e. do not treat your customers like they are thieves, check with your coworkers and home office before h leaving threatening messages, try not to steal your truck back when it was extended and paid for, tell the customer you ripped offf t hat you are going to do it again j but not have eenough balls to tell them you are charging them for the days you stole the truck b deck with their items inside, and don't hide behind corporate when you can't even give your customer the benefit of the doubt that th get communicated, you guys didn't with each other! I have never been so in insuoted, harassed, and ripped off. Hands down you guys are the criminals. .i did nothing wrong but rent from you. Everyone i know and everyone they know will know how far vUHAUL has fallen justb downright ghetto. So jaded and petty they treat you like shit and th then rip you off on top of it. I don't rv ten know this company anymore. Worst experience ever from th e store b to corrporate. Your internal software or v training orboth are obviously antiquated and terrible.

Even when it was 97 degrees outside, they immediately came out, got blankets to put in my rental, walked around the vehicle to check it out, and helped me with questions and any other equipment i needed. They even laughed at my stupid Dad jokes. I've been at several uhaul locations in the past 6 months, and this one by far is staffed with better people.

To get help fixing a stuck door. 2. The young man who fixed the door. 3. A woman who was cleaning out an abandoned locker. 4. An employee who helped close my account 1904. Every single employee that I dealt with could not have been more professional, more helpful or more kind. When I drove away with my young friend who was helping me move boxes I said Uhaul really knows how to take care of customers. I've been doing Customer Service for 40 years and I had such a great experience there yesterday. I wanted to make sure I took the time to share it with you. I was short on money & I couldn't make my payment. They will work with you and not take your things. And they also won't load you down with crazy late fees. The indoor loading dock with different unload heights is much more convenient than other storage facilities I have used. And something as simple as access to free carts makes a huge difference in the experience of moving in or out.

Our movers, who were familiar with the facility, stated it took them 2-3 hours longer (which cost us extra money) only due to the location. I honestly would have paid more, and driven farther to just have an outdoor unit that I could have pulled up to. The layout makes no practical sense for anyone that is storing a lot. Perhaps it would be good for something small like for a dorm room.

I recently used this facility for 3 years, and I must say their service was top-notch. The staff is friendly, efficient, and accommodating, making the process of renting a storage unit a breeze. The facility itself was well lit and meticulously maintained, giving me a sense of security, knowing that my belongings were in good hands. Just an FYI, when I retrieved my belongings from the storage unit, I had discovered that I had unwittingly brought home some unwanted guests - mice. Because the units are not sealed tightly, using garage door like access, mice can get in. I should've put my belongings in the garage when I get home, and opened them one by one there. Overall, the U-Haul storage facility excelled in many ways.

The staff acted like it wasn't their responsibility to help or come and look to see what the problem was or how to get it to work. Small carts to use for transferring to storage. We should have gotten advice, like get a bigger unit and maybe there was another entrance with double doors we could have been told about! Poor service!

Most of the time people are disinterested and unwilling to go be helpful and provide anything beyond the basics of showing up. BUT that was not the case and my experience at this location. The facility was clean and well maintained. The layout of the equipment was well organized making getting in and out a breeze. The best part of my experience was the people. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Definitely a throw back to a time when employees cared you gave them your business. Specifically I would like to highlight Jacob. He went out of his way to make sure I understood everything about the storage facility and what I needed to know returning my truck. He even helped me with directions to the nearest gas station. As someone who worked in retail management these were the kind of employees I loved to steal away and build my business full of. He is an "A" player and I sure hope he is recognized as such. Overall I would 100 % use U Haul & Storage of Plymouth in the future and will recommend anyone else I know to do so as well. Thanks to the team for a great experience and I'll be seeing them again soon!!

I had lost my key at one point, and they were very helpful to make sure that I had access and to shut down access to my unit, when I thought someone else had my key. The storage unit was always nice and warm with rollers ready to go for all my stuff in a facility that I could bring my car into that was inside and heated away from any weather. Best place to store my stuff!!!!

There was already a free lock in the unit when we opened it, and they couldn't figure out how to give me a refund on the lock for about an hour while we unloaded. It was a time drain and a headache. 2. There is a large container of rat poison in the storage unit with drippy liquid on top of it - GROSS and unsafe! And there is bird droppings outside our unit on the floor (so birds can poop into our unit from the open ceiling) 3. But the worse part is that it was not explained that this is an ABOVE GROUND UNIT and can only be reached with portable stairs - super difficult and inconvenient!!! We struggled to get our heavy furniture into the unit, and we regret getting this unit to begin with. Bad experience, and we will be looking for a different facility.

Of course it didn't have gas, NO moving blankets, No 2 wheeler. Our packing supplies we ordered only the boxes showed up, no packing tape, bubble wrap, or any of the other smaller items ordered to move... I called to have them looked into and resent. NEVER did receive them. Had 10 people there to move here and we were still running to the sore getting more supplies to finish the kitchen. Getting someone to talk to on this was HORRIFIC!!! Kinda hard to move when you have to go out several times to get the product you ordered and it never came. Then the other thing that I thought was crappy is that I bought 2 padlocks in Custer, SD to lock the truck and put on the storage units. I found out they have to be a certain kind of padlock. NOWHERE does it tell you this. I am really disappointed with UHaul and would never recommend them to anyone. Not sure how they have stayed in business this long, but I will use any other company for the second half of my move OTHER THAN UHaul.
