I handed over my keys at drop off, and the guy told me I'll get an email with my receipt and I was good to leave. I never got it, plus I got a missed call from the Uhaul location, so I called back and was on the phone for over an hour, between a being on hold and continuously getting redirected because nobody knew what was going on. Representative Cathy who I had spoken with in person was asked the question regarding the U-Haul in Haverstraw, NY. Unfortunately, she projected a disposition as if I annoyed her. Of course, the computer may not give one accurate information, I had to go out of my way and contacted Representative Rebecca at (718) 562-7418 who explained everything. Meanwhile, when I was speaking with her a gentleman behind the desk was trying to express his feedback. In the interim, I had Representative Rebecca on the speaker mode so she can communicate with her. Apparently, it appeared Representative Cathy was more interested discussing her party event with the other representative. Actually, if you view the footage on the camera you will see partial of this statement is valid. In conclusion, Representative Cathy needs to be re-trained and aware of her surroundings in customer service. Discussing personal issues while conducting business is not professional and staying focus until the transaction is complete with a "PLEASANT ATTITUDE" goes a long ways.Glenn C.

Location is fine. Quick and easy pick up. However, when I reserved the truck online, I had received a 30 $discount for using an alternate drop off point. When it came time to pay, I ended up paying full price. Not happy about this at all.Luis G.

The employees greeted me by saying they would not accept the vehicle. When I told them this was the drop location they said they were full and drive it to a different location. And when I said no because I had a ride waiting for me they threatened to charge me a wrong location fee. I left it there and got my receipt but honestly the service was terrible.Derek Z.

My originally location was switch to this one then I got a Trunk that was out dated , stunck and was really rocky on the road for a 39,99 dollars fee and my end cause was expensive compared to my online original cost.Crystal J.

The computers kept freezing while we were there and it was about 45 minutes before we even signed our contract. The vehicle was had a ton of dents and scratches, and they were adequately marked before getting to the car and in the photos we compared. After that it was really smooth. The staff was very helpful and the server was top notch. We understood that none of the delays were their faults, but I hope their higher ups see this and invest in better computers and internet service to keep this from happening. I ALSO wanna say that this location in the Bronx was the Second uhaul we had visited that day. I originally had a reservation booked at a location in Manhattan and they canceled it last second because they overbooked. Again, if there was a way for uhaul to have just spoken the night before and get the right number of trucks at the right location. I had to get an Uber to the Bronx, adding yet another cost to my move, and more time from our original reservation of 9 AM. We got the job done, and you had some redeeming employees along the way at this location in the Bronx, but I do think that the overall experience could've been much smoother.Jagger L.

Yes if a person makes a reservation and goes and the next day to pick up and it has been rented to someone else, is not fare I was going crazy to go rented to another store. I didn't get help just your reservation is not in the system and that it but I have a print out, no you don't have a reservationGilberto A.

The trailer was not affixed appropriately. After leaving the location, I saw that the neck of the trailer wS close to the ground. I just thought that it was because the van and trailer was on an incline. After the trailer was loaded up, it was dragging on the ground. I called the ASM and other U-haul personnel and no one cMe to assist me. They pretty much told me that U was on my own. All they told me was to call road side assistance. I literally had to paid someone to Jack up the trailer off the hitch, remove the ball, take it to a location where the ball was turned around so I could continue my trip. I was embarrassing and humiliating. Then to top it off, I was still billed 40 $the next day. I was not happy with the service at all. I even have pictures of the associate placing the trailer on the hitch with it close to the ground. The last thing he said was, "You're good to go". Very bad service.Gregory C.

I lost thousands of dollars worth of items I stored in the Uhaul storage unit due to the neighboring unit illegally storing gasoline. It leaked all over my storage items and I am extremely disappointed and sad considering I am a college student who will have a hard time replacing most of it. Not to mention, I am in dental school and had to store some books and notes that were destroyed. The manager did not respond in a timely manner at all and I had to even send him another email since he never responded to my first one. I understand that he may have been busy, but after I sent my second email to him he responded that he was aware of the incident.. so why not reach out to me or respond if he was aware? I am hoping to get a full reimbursement back. When I went to move my stuff out at night (bc it's supposed to be 24/7 access) I was saddened to see it wasn't opened bc the elevator wasn't working. I would've appreciated an email from the storage facility letting everyone know that so I didn't have to drive all that way just to have it closed. When we went the following day and had to deal with the gasoline all over my stored items, it was unbearably hot and proved that this facility unit is in fact not climate controlled. Overall, terrible experience and I will not be recommending any of my college friends or family to store with Uhaul.Kaitlin D. | Expérience générale

I had my storage for 5+ years. It was always clean and I appreciated that. The staff was always friendly and provided great customer service. The only thing I would change is to have air conditioner in the facility. But because it's an old building, the cost to install one would be astronomical. Anyway, thank you.
