It was a bit confusing and there wasn't enough space in the actual drop off lot so we had to go to the next lot over.

Steana W.There is false advertising on the website. I was tod that I would have 1 month free when I rent a truck and get a storage unit. When I tried to do that, I was told differently and had to pay for storage at the moment and the rent the truck. Also the hours that self storage was advertised as if I can use until 10pm..but could not move my things into the storage because the facility closed at 7pm. I would not recommend this to anyone.

john L.Unfortunately we did not have a good experience here. We made the reservation for a cargo van and an appliance dolly days ago. We arrived 5 minutes after open to a line of 10 people and was told even though I checked in online I would still have to wait. When we got to the front we had to give them the same information I gave them online and then we were told the last appliance dolly had just been given away to someone last minute. We only booked a uhaul to move a new washer and dryer so we needed the appliance dolly. We were given the normal dolly *that we were still charged for* which did not help. It is unfortunate you advertise that you can do this online only to not be given what you booked and to have to wait in line for 45 minutes. Will not be using uhaul or this location again.

Lisa P.It was annoying that I couldn't speak to someone directly at the facility. I would call to make a payment and the phones would be transferred to corporate, sometime waiting on hold for 15 minutes to be told that I need to contact the facility directly. Terribly inconvenient that I could not access the facility 24-7. I tried to move out on a Sunday and couldn't get in after 5pm. Super annoying. The people that do work here are very charismatic and helpful in person. They were always nice, whenever I dealt with them in person or on the phone directly.

The truck was dirty when we checked it out 25 dollar fee to return, No problem that's on me. I drove 34 miles and was charged for 7 gallons of gas. If your trucks only get 4,8 miles per gallon, I will do every thing in my power on social media to make sure everyone uses Penske for long haul trips because that's embarrassing. The last 26ft truck I rented from you I got 15miles per gallon while towing a car. This was a smaller truck and not towing anything. Just really bad business and not fair.

Customers should know they are top priority, not finishing casual conversations with coworkers, finishing text messages , eating and so forth. Also, asking for optional or voluntary information should not be presented as mandatory to conduct business.

When I came into buy my storage she was trying to tell me I didn't have it free because I didn't take a one way even though on the papers I did. The woman charged me for extra miles. I was also charged for gas even though I brought the tank right back how i received it.

Very rude and unhelpful people behind the counter. Only 1 person was nice and helpful - I can't remember her name. She was working circles around everyone else. When I first arrived I didn't know where the office was. I asked them on the intercom. They proceeded to make fun of me then just said go south. I've never been there before I had no idea which way south was. Just very rude and lazy. Never again. I'll toss everything I own before renting a storage unit again. Was told there is no partial refund for all the time I prepaid. -20 stars.

David G. |  Expérience générale The black girl that worked the the day/evening (1-27-22) i was tryna move my storage was rude and inconsiderate and turned the lights out @ 6:15 and came over the intercom saying the time and we close @7 pm and to make final moving before 6:45 and then when asked to turn the lights back on she then told us to use a flash light i was in disbelief of what i just heard i will never refer anyone to this location again

I had to speak first. She acted irritated when I asked her questions and when i brought the truck back she never even thanked me for my business. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Often had to go out to the street because they refused to move even though they were not loading or unloading. Could be a little sketchy from time to time but I suppose that's downtown for you. Biggest complaint is that it was difficult to actually pull up to the loading bay due to other people parked there for no reason.

accorp i. |  Expérience générale Staff was fantastic helping to free up the loading dock so we could have a chance to unpack the uhaul. Access hours could be better or more clearly articulated. We drove 6 hours from Iowa with the truck and only had less than an hour to unpack by the time we arrived. We knew the office would close but not that we would lose access to our storage locker With a moving truck of our size, I wish we didn't have to move it all up to the third floor for storage. The space was sufficient but required dozens of trips up the freight elevator. Again, something I wish I would have known prior to arrival but, after successfully navigating the truck through downtown KC, I didn't want to transport my cargo to a different storage facility. I can't speak highly enough about the staff. From allowing us to stage the truck at the facility during the day so that we could take care of the business portion of the trip, to helping to move and park the truck...can't speak highly enough about the staff you had working there today 13 May (day shift)
