Actually clean the blunt roaches and beer cans out of the truck.. Back of the 15' truck had a dirty floor and a tumbleweeve in the corner... Truck literally got 3 miles per gallon..

I would not recommend the location on Telegraph and 8 mile in Detroit. The staff was not polite and did not have my truck reservation correct. Stating that one of the employees had the truck and was to have it back by 9:00. However it was 11:00 and the staff person had not brought the truck back. So they sent me to the Inkster location. The lady at the Telegraph office act as if she didn't know what she was doing. The other 2 people there said they couldn't help me because they were taking a test. I left very frustrated and confused. I how I will be refunded $50 like I was promise for my inconvenience.

Make sure equipment works properly! Straps where not able to take out and ratchet was rusted shut. Had to go back to westland uhaul location to get corrected. Wasted 2 hours of my time. Uhaul sucks!

The trucks air conditioning was broken. Also truck has 122 000 miles & wasn't in excellent running condition. Tires are worn. Didn't drive well. I'm very dissatisfied

-Went to get the key for pre-hours pickup (7:00am), opened the lockbox and no key. Delayed my move by 2 hours. -Vehicle had a vibration to it at around 60-70 mph making me wonder if I was going to lose a tire. Suspected unbalanced wheels. - Still able to complete the move, but was on eggshells and a little miffed about the delay.

My rating is based solely off of my experience working with Ethan. I would have otherwise rated the experience as poor. He turned a very stressful day around into a positive experience. Ethan should be commended on how he handled a difficult situation. I explained why I had been sent to his location instead of picking the original reservation at a licensed UHaul location. He listened, let me know how he would try to find a solution and kept me informed as I waited for a resolution. I didn't get the reservation I went to this location for (as the person who had the vehicle was unable to return it at the designated time) however Ethan then found me a solution and I was able to leave with a different vehicle. I appreciate the effort Ethan put in to turn the experience around for me. I would 100 % recommend this location. Thank you Ethan!

I was ripped off. I rented the trailer for 24 hours with a scheduled pick up time of 10 AM. I went to the store a little early and asked if I could pick it up and they said no problem. When the estimate come up on the screen I questions the amount because it was more than I was quoted. The clerk said that wasn't the price I was going to pay only the estimate. I asked if I could drop it of that evening if I was finished and again I was told no problem. I dropped the trailer of the same day at 7:45 PM. When I got the receipt I was charged for 2 days even though I had it less than 12 hours. Total scam. Do not go to this store

I received the auto transporter with the light sometimes working and then not working.i drove three hours away picking up my sons first vehicle. After getting there and loading up the car the trailer started to make a lot of noise. I called the office no one answered and they got transported to an agent somehow and they told me to try to drive it but obviously it just got worse so I've had to call a tow truck to finish taking my son‘s first vehicle to our house and paid out-of-pocket $239 for towing as I drove back and dropped off the trailer without even using it. That was the worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul I never ever had a problem before

I had reserved a cargo van for 6 hrs through the general number but when I arrived at the location, they said that I only have 4 hrs and was going to be charged the daily rate. After some back and forth they ultimately agreed to give me the full time I requested. I also had a flat tire and waited for more than 2 hrs for road side assistance. The general number helped a lot with waiving charges due to the time being stranded on the Hwy. Last point if improvement can be made to at least provide ETA for the road side help much quicker would be great. Thanks

terrible! accused me of taking a “dolly” which was never in the truck to begin with. charged me $150 extra and was not willing to hear my side of the story! i do not recommend and i will be talking to corporate and reporting this location.

Link screens to return after hours didn't work. On final receipt, an additional charge was added for an “additional day”, even though I had returned it early.

Reserved 3 dollies and also called to confirm the day before the actual rental. Was told everything with my reservation was confirmed. When I picked vehicle up I was told they only had 1 dolly and not the 3 I reserved and for which was confirmed the day before. In addition there was only 1/4 tank of fuel when picked up. Lastly, I was charged for 2 day rental when I returned it same day IT was rented. I was issued a credit but it took 3 days until it posted to my account.

It's warm weather and the time for moving, what I saw was that there was only one staffer trying to attend to several people waiting in line. He could have used help and we wouldn't have had to wait for a long period of time.

When I first drove up a worker was walking up to me and got into another truck and skipped me. Then, when he drove the moving truck around the building to park it, he hit the top back corner against another vehicle. And when he did get to helping me he had me park the trailer instead of disconnecting it and moving it himself. Directing me into a tight parking spot he backed me into another truck. (No damage).

The General Manager(Ethan Smith) was very disrespectful. I asked If I could be 1 hour late. He said I would have to got to another location. I said never mind I will be back on time he said. DONT YOU LIE TO ME". There is a way to speak to each other when you are doing business. I am also in retail and I would have been immediately suspended for this behavior. Is this how he leads his team? Here is a more serious question. I this how UHAUL wants to be represented? I been coming to this location for over 20 years. It's a shame that one employee(GM) can cause a company to lose money.

The movers were hacks. Walls, floors, furniture scratched. They didn't have my 26 ft truck, settled for 20 ft instead - which caused my movers to run way over.
