The person who was there when we picked up the truck was very uncordial. Never got up out their chair to say hi. Just kinda lazy and not really rude, but very unfriendly. No communication at all. Just bad customer service.

What you can do to improve is hire people that actually no how to do a proper inspection on equipment and if they know it isn't working do not go ahead and give it to a customer anyways. Try improving your customer service that would help alot.

Not surprised that I still got charged for junk equipment that has a manifold leak. Had to drive with the window down to stay alive. UHAUL is more like UPUSH.

Returned the trailer the next day back to tyler we did not need it, they refused to refund me my cash payment said that when I returned the truck to Idaho they would refund me my cash payment for the trailer I did not use. Got to Idaho owner Renee there said she can't refund money she did not take, Tyler should have refunded you when you returned. So now someone owes me $295 when I return to tyler on the 10th I will be going by tyler to get my money!.

Customer service was terrible. I was lied to by the service rep on location when picking up the truck and then charged for the discrepancy when dropping it off. Online customer service refused to address the issue. I will not be using UHAUL again because of this incident.

I'm leaving a review of "below average" because the customer service at this location was extremely lacking. The staff were lackadaisical and very un-interested in their work. Apart from help attaching the trailer, I received next to no instruction or explanation of my order. I've used U-Haul several times before, so I know pretty much how things work, but the lack of engagement was noticeable from this staff.

The only thing I would recommend is a clearer way for the customer to know which fuel they need to fill up with. Putting the wrong fuel in could be bad and as someone who doesn't normally drive trucks, I wasn't sure which type to put in the vehicle.

Although the associate was nice, the experience could have been better. I don't know if protocols have been changed or not, but everything should have been properly situated before the customer arrives. 1. I had to go find my rental amongst the rest of the trucks instead of it being pulled out and waiting. 2. Normal protocol was to return the truck on whatever fill line it was obtained. My truck was not full, yet the paperwork stated that it was. Therefore, I had to return it as full. 3. The drop-off location did not accept returns so I had to go to a different location.

Truck had no driver side sun visor, check engine light, and ran rough. Location was not friendly and did not want to speak to you. They had no care about the condition of the truck and I paid top dollar for it. The prices were insanely terrible. I rented a 26' truck from another company and it was just under $900 for the exact same trip and time. I spent $1 400 for a 10'. I will tell everyone I can to not use uhaul unless it is for one day in town. Robbery at its finest. The app was easy to use though! You are taking advantage of your customers.

There was no clear place that we could find to drop the keys and the area to park the drop off and the office area are difficult to figure out how to traverse when it's 2am and you are exhausted from a 15 hour day of moving.

Only issue I had was the tow dolly had a flat left tire. Air was added prior to my leaving, but had to stop nine times to add air to the tire to prevent a blowout. Which clearly made the move an epic pain in the butt. Besides that, the staff was always very friendly and helpful.

Make sure your odometer reading matches the paperwork, because y'all charged for miles that I did not use. I payed for extra miles to ensure that I didn't go over and still was screwed over.

Low tire sensor was bad so constantly showed that you have a low tire. Handle on drivers window was broken making it hard to roll down or up. The arrow on the little gas mileage gauge that tells you to keep it in the green area to save gas was sitting at the halfway point even when sitting still so when you barely accelerate it goes into the red. All minor things but should be fixed.

Truck rental has issues with the steering wheel being loose, had to push down very hard on the brakes to get them to work, and every bump made the van feel and sound like it was going to break. The guy working definitely did not want to be there.

Trailer was not at original agreed upon location, had to detour to a second location that opened an hour later than the agreed upon pickup time. When arriving at new agreed upon location at agreed upon time, no employee was present and the office was locked. Employee showed up an hour later than posted opening time, causing my moving arrangements to be delayed by a total of 2 hours. GM of the site at 411 loop 323 did not answer or respond to messages in the posted number at the location either. This 2 hour delay caused rippling negative effects throughout the day, effectively de-railing any plans that were pre-arranged. The overall experience because of this was terrible.

My only disappointment was that the storage units were not accessible after 10 pm and we didn't get finished moving until 11:30 pm so we had to leave our personal belongings locked in the uhaul until it opened. However, the staff was very understanding and worked with us to extend the lease so that we could get our things unloaded.

The manager, the representative staffing the desk, and the young man who received the vehicle when I returned it provided excellent customer service. The young lady at the desk had a gentleman who was in line before me who was extremely rude. He requested a quote, but he did not want to provide the information for the system to generate a quote, although she professionally, kindly, and adequately informed him why she needed to have this information to provide his request. He angrily exited the premises without the requested information , acting as if the young lady was the problem. DZ

The woman called and said we failed to leave the keys. She said we would owe another days rental if we didn't come up with them. I drove like a crazy person to find them before the noon cut-off time. When I called her back to tell her where they were, she had found them but didn't bother to call and tell me. My son had dropped them in the slot. She caused me extreme stress and worry for no reason.

Windows were not sealed correctly so the cabin was noisy because air was coming in and when I got stuck driving through the thunderstorm where all the air was coming in was now rain coming in and getting me all wet. No cruise control, not sure if that is in all u-hauls or just that particular one that I was blessed with to travel almost 500 miles with. None of the outlets would work so I could not charge my phone so I also drove across Texas with a dead phone in a thunderstorm with hail and lightening. Thank you for an experience I would wish on no one!

Most of the staff is very unprofessional and extremely rude. One staff member was inebriated or under some sort of influence and was unable to open the store as a result. The General (Uvanda) and Area (Matt) managers were extremely rude and disrespectful. My reservation that should have only taken me about 1-2 hours to receive and load and be on my way took more than 5 hours due to staff absence, lack of communication and response, and unprofessionalism. The General Manager threatened to call law enforcement on me simply because after 5 hours, when she decided to show up at her job, I asked her if she would hurry so that I could go. She would not and actually had me just standing there while her report was loading and when I asked how much longer it would take she said "Oh, I'm done with you" in a very much disregarding and disrespectful tone. Prior to this, the Area Manager, Matt, hung up in my face after yelling "Well, then just don't get the truck!" when I was seeking resolve as a customer for such inconveniences. My overall experience has been absolutely horrible and frustrating, and I will likely never use U-haul again.

We were customers for almost a decade, and i wish we had changed providers much sooner. We paid for key fobs monthly to get thru the gate, and they rarely if ever worked. The final straw was we wanted an additional unit, and called towards the end of September to secure it. We were told we would get a unit after the first of the month. After the 1st of October we called and kept getting put further and further back, the representatives saying they just needed to empty the unit. After 3 weeks of calling daily, if not multiple times a day, they still didn't have it ready, and at this point we were weeks behind getting our employee set up to work, we got a unit across the street at a new competitor... and then proceeded to move our current 2 units as well. Even though we had emptied and notified the staff well before the billing date, we were still charged another month for both units.

The Gate is inoperable, very hard to get around as the large trucks are parked in on path and there is a building to close to make the corner. That is why the post for the gate is hit and out of the ground.

Stink the customer service was not good rude slow and unorganized they gave us a small storage said it was all they had me and my wife saw a bigger one open after putting 75 % of our thing in it damaging scratching them to fit and whent to office asked about the bigger one they said a guy didn’t put it in system that bigger ones was available then I had to take everything out the small storage load on to truck and unload back in to the bigger one highly unsatisfied

I will never rent from a U-Haul facility ever again. This has been the worst experience within the last year. Not to mention I was forced to pay an extra fee of $25 to throw a few boxes in the garage. I never was told uhaul charged to use the garage. I would never recommend U-Haul to anyone. Staff are the absolute worst at the tyler, tx rose city location especially management!

I paid for a storage building online. After arriving I had to pay for another storage building because the lady at the counter didn't want to listen. Will never be using that storage. And her attitude was terrible! Do not use this place !

The rating has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE EMPLOYEES. The employees that I talked to most recently were absolutely amazing, their personalities were contagious and absolutely delightful. I just can't stand uhall. The price rises are praying on people's out of sight out of mind. It's kinda annoying to watch the price consistently rise dispute the facility most definitely being paid off. having an understanding of how much $100 is as my WEEKLY grocery bill is more than $100 pisses me off knowing some people have no choice but to store their things for extended periods of time as the units price constantly makes it more difficult to get back in the position to be able to empty out the units. This seems like a trap for people who are struggling to fix themselves financially especially in the current economy. If you want people to move out or give an extra push to keep the occupancy more manageable, try starting with text notifications or at least some kinda of reminder for people about the unit they have. So would I refer uhall to a friend? no. Maybe to my worst enemy but even then I'd feel guilty.

I'm disappointed that after paying for September rent and being totally moved out within the next ten days I did not receive my partial refund. When I payed I let them know I would be moved out very soon. They said I should get a refund. No one has reached out to me.

It was the constant going up on the price and nothing changed the security was the same the acthe access was the same nothing changed other than the price in the time that I had rented the unit I do believe my amount went up 2 to 3 times in the short amount of time that I rented this storage

This facility is difficult to enter and exit with trailers and moving vans. They should buy some of the empty parking lot next door to store the Uhaul trucks. The staff was excellent tho!

John and James were awesome. Very helpful and attentive. So nice! I couldn't believe it! We came from out of town and had reservations for 2 storage units, one came with the truck rental and the other we had to reserve separate because we had so much stuff. John arranged for us to use one larger! Just very kind and respectful guys. I'll definitely use this location again if needed.
