the truck didn't start after i got to my destination, and i was stranded 4 hours. they ended up using duct tape to adhere the wire to the battery which was probably risky, but i needed to get back. it was just a tough situation overall. nobody's fault really, but maybe the trucks could be better maintained?

U-Haul needs to hire more staff for this enormous location. It appears to only be two people working every time I have gone there to buy packing supplies. And the day I dropped off my truck at 6:30'ish, the attendant just told me to leave the truck where it was, and he would email me a receipt. There was 2 panel vans and a trailer ahead of my truck in the drop off zone. - AND - I still have not received a receipt.

There was oil on the inside of the van floor. During moving I didn't realize the oil that got on my mattress. I'll have it cleaned. Most of all, I'm always happy with U Haul services and the representatives that work there. Thank You. 10**********

When we picked up the van, the process was a breeze. It was clean, and we initially had no issues. However, we got a low tire warning on the 1st day of our rental. We filled the front tires and things seemed fine for a few days. We got another low tire warning a few days in. This time we requested Roadside assistance. (So thankful we added this to our rental). I loved that we could request this online.The guy that I communicated with was great! We had someone out within about an hour to check the tire. Turned out there was a nail in it, so they replaced it instead of fixing it. He looked at the rest of the tires and they were all very worn with very little tread on them. We had no other issues for the remainder of our rental. We had planned on at least mentioning this when we returned it. However, when we returned it yesterday, there was only one person working at the location and he seemed as if he was either very busy, or just didn't want to deal with anyone at the time. He basically said he just needed the key and we would be emailed a receipt shortly. Before I could even mention anything about the tires, his phone rang and he just told us that we were all set. No inspection or anything. So, we left. After about an hour, I still did not receive a receipt, so I used online chat through the app. It took forever for someone to even get to me. But, when they did all I did was request a receipt and it was emailed immediately. Couple of suggestions; Uhaul should inspect their vehicles a bit more thoroughly. Using Roadside was an inconvenience, but again, I'm glad we had it. I'm thankful that nothing happened while we were driving. The tires overall were not great, and luckily we did not have a blowout. (I should also mention that while the van did have a spare tire under it, the tool required to get it off to use was nowhere in the vehicle.) I would also suggest that a return inspection should be required when you return in person. I still gave 4 out of 5 stars overall. Overall, aside from the tire issue, the vehicle worked out fine for what we rented it for.

The owner could benefit from an education in etiquette. I had to be driven an hour to pick up the truck because one was not available where I had reserved it. Despite the clear inconvenience to me, I was friendly and happy to have the truck. I was greeted in return with unfriendly owner as if he was doing me a favor.

I have used the u haul storage facility before in the past and was very happy with the staff and facility. I have recommended friends in the past to use the Roseville Frazho and Gratiot facility. That's why I am using them again.

I had to clean out a substantial amount of debris before i could load the trailer. Chunks of dried concrete, concrete dust, fertilizer. screws and pieces of wire were imbedded in the grooves of the trailer bed. Not used to uHaul equipment being such a mess.

The Uhaul I rented was extremely dirty. The right side mirror was broken and pointing downwards which made it very difficult to switch lanes because you had to lean over to the passenger to get a peek of who was in the lane next to you. The check engine light was on and it felt like the truck was going to breakdown. The passenger dashboard where the airbag is was broken and hanging down.

Manager was never on hand he was always doing something in the back had to wait for a two hours and he never came to speak to me I ended up going back home eventually the issue was resolved but I didn’t appreciate that long wait other than that the service was good

Make sure the customer is taking care of I was at the location my appointment was 7:00 a.m.I had to wait 20 minutes when the representative saw me walked out without saying anything to me like good morning I'll be with you in a few minutes. Nothing was said as I waited for the representative.to return I didn't get the truck until almost 8 and then was giving the wrong truck. Customer satisfaction should be the first goal.

I was told I would get the $14 back from insurance when I returned the truck which wasn't the case, and I was basically called a lier when I mentioned it. I had de-selected the option when it appeared on the screen until the Managers Daughter explained to me that that was included with my $100 deposit, and it would be returned and cleared when the truck was returned.

Learn how to give refunds wanted to do a refund and the mod as well as the cashier that was in the store had no idea how to tried a a hour and was then still told to come back the next day due to them being unable to do so. Other then that store and truck was clean and staff was friendly only sudjust more training on the register for all staff including mod. Thanks

Only one man running everything. At least 10 people in line. I had to say excuse me 5 times before he acknowledged me as I needed the key for my van I had done online checking for. Van was parked so far away we had to drive to it. Upon returning instructions directed me to put van key in lock box. Lock box was completely open. Worker not in building and again many people waiting. Finally found him in parking lot and told him lock box broken and attempted to hand him the keys. He said no, walk back tto the truck and leave them on the seat. Experience 0/10

Everything went well for over a year until this last month when I was checking out I still haven’t received my closing papers which was supposed to be emailed to me I don’t know if they closed it or not they was very rude .

Went to the uhaul location at 10 mile and groesbeck no one was there. All the doors were locked. When I called someone answered laughing put me on hold right away without saying anything. I waited almost 20 minutes before I hung up. Went to the one on Gratiot and frazho lawerence took care of me and was a pleasure to work with. It went smoothly from there

Web site did not work for making reservations. Phones did not answer at any location. The gentleman that check me in and hitched me up was excellent despite computer issues that hindered him from the main servers which other employees indicate is a constant problem. You have to give your employees the tools to succeed or they will lose motivation. I think you need to revise your customer and employee sites.

Staff was excellent. Too bad our movers never showed up. I would recommend screening the companies that offer moving services and make sure they are local. We ended up loading and unloading a 26' truck. Ridiculous!

1st reservation they did not have any vehicles available. They said in the notes i came after 9am, which is a lie, i was there at 830am. Only 1 counterperson for MANY customers over 45 minutes to try n get a vehicle ,only to be told they r out. Nice business approach!

I was shown a 10×10×10 open space unit. When I reviewed mine, there were two side by side w/divided wall unit(separately #) When I questioned the young lady she replied with " that's what they gave you" I'm not sure about everyone's opinion but I was under the impression that you get what you pay for. Had I nor had planed to move that day I would have canceled everything down to the truck rental that was another disaster.

When I 1st got there To pick up my car hauler trailer The lady at the desk did not even acknowledge me while she played on her personal cell phone For at least 10 minutes before the gentleman came in who was the manager and he helped me....but then I left To go hook up my vehicle I noticed the tire had metal belts poking through So I had to stop what I was doing and go back to the location and they put a new tire on it for me.... Then I returned home to load up the vehicle once again And I noticed that the ramp's safety latches we're not there and we're broken off... So instead of putting other people's lives in danger on I75I had to use my straps to hold in the ramps from the slideouts.... I had mentioned it to the employees and all they said was oh well we'll have to fix that... I saved the company hundreds and thousands of dollars from not hurting somebody with the metal ramps coming out on the freeway... But they still charged me full price... And all I got was oh well I guess we'll have to fix that on Sunday when I returned the trailer..... They were too busy in the back room and on their phones.. Customer service was horrible.... And I've used this company probably a 100 times....

I informed them my gas was not where the paper stated and they wouldn't revise it. They told me to go online and fix it myself but I couldn't figure out how to change it. I found a way to edit it but it said my order was already processed. I have to pay for gas I never had and did not use at 6 plus dollars a gallon.

I did have a significant problem trying to schedule the delivery of my box, with a phone wait of 38 minutes followed by a disconnect. When I called the next morning I was able to get through immediately and complete my request. Overall very good service, delivery windows, etc.

Great location, however, the rented truck should have never been running in the fleet. Damaged driver that never closed fully and I got rained on while driving. The box leaked on the passenger side and wet some of my property.

There is a sign in the store that said get 1 month rental free if you rent a truck or trailer. When I asked the manager about it he said it was for a one way rental. I personally took a picture of the sign and it did not say that. I think that is false advertising and misleading I have used uhaul rental several times over the past 2 years and I don't think I will be using this company anymore or recommending your company to anyone.

This storage facility seems to have problems with the overhead doors. I have problems beckoned January when I 1st Purchased my storage unit. They still seem to be having problems with the same doors.

Calvin the manager was nice and showed me the security proccess. Inside loading and unloading was hampered by inoperative (3) garage doors especially on Jan 19 on myove out. All 3 garage doors were inoperative.

The dumpster was full, an employee was VERY rude to me as I'm lugging my sectional couches If I'm paying rent and it includes dumpster access. How is it my fault you have no room in your dumpster also I asked the same employee if he knew where I could he was pretty rude and told me he had no idea. Absolutely unacceptable. After I don't need a storage unit anymore I'm heavily considering never using a U-Haul storage unit again after this experience I had to dispose of them off-site which caused me to go over my time with the U-Haul. Again very displeased!!

I stored my belongings there while i was in transition of buying a new home. My items where the for ONE MONTH and when i came to retrieve them, my belongings were covered with all sizes of roaches.

No other experience to compare to. Door near my unit not working and no sign. Nobody answered intercom so had to go i the office. Office staff extremely helpful and nice. Offered to look for a different unit but I said if the doors were being repaired it was ok (move in more difficult because further from door but If they work (expected after repair) the location was good so I told her it was fine. Lower stars were due to no intercom answer and no sign indication that set of doors were not working.

I would definitely utilize the Uhaul location on Gratiot and Frazho in Roseville, MI THE SERVICE WAS GREAT!!!!

The uhual was clean and nice. The only thing is the bathroom in the storage unit should be unlock for the customers. Other than that I will use them again. Oh and the staff is wonderful.

Great interaction with the manager/owner. He was awesome! But facility was dirty my storage room was extremely dirty dirt trash and tape all over the floor when I first opened it. On top of that they gave me a unit that was sealed and ready for a new renter once I opened it it was full of stuff had to go back up front and get a new one. My time was wasted. Bad organization, laziness, lack of cleaning. Plus the bathroom was locked in storage area! Pros... staff is friendly?

False advertisement online listing units that are available, but when you go to into the store and inform the employee about renting the unit that you reserved online and then your told that unit is not available and they only have 10-5x5’s units available🤷🏽‍♀️
