I found the early phone check-in/security check instructions confusing, however, the office let me in early and took care of my check-in so I did not have a problem.

It takes to long to pay. I don't know whether you need a new computer, new credit card reader or new software, but it takes an exceptionally long time for you to process my payment. If it happens once, OK, it happens. If it happens twice, Hmmm. But three-four times in a row? I see a trend here and I don't like it.

Im surprised no one called me after sharing about my experience. It was terrifyingly aweful and has left a bad taste in my mouth. Someones been negligent in maintaing their trucks because a suspension doesnt wear out over night. My experience was completely avoidable. I hope you can do something and not just ignore me and the truck.

The parking at the drop off location was challenging but I got it done. Perhaps inform customers of the process or circumstances if they choose to drop off vehicles after hours. Other than that, I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end.

I think the fellow at the Palm Desert location estimated the exact distance to San Clemente from Palm Desert. Unfortunately the 60 Westbound was closed due to construction in the Banning pass. Consequently I incurred a $2.46 charge for the extra miles i had to travel on the 10 and the 215 to get back to the 91. This traffic condition (closure) should have been known by the Palm Desert office, had they been using a current traffic condition application. Just a suggestion as something you may want to pursue that would enhance the customer experience,

The equipment was fine but the customer service was a complete joke. Both of the employees behind the front desk were on the phone when we walked in, which is fine--but neither of them bothered to acknowledge that we were there for about two minutes. Not even a wave to say "yes, I see you. Be with you in a moment." We just stood there awkwardly until someone decided it was time to help us with our reservation. (This only happened after the woman behind the desk hung up the phone and hopped on the computer for a minute or two.) While that was obnoxious, it was not the worst part of our experience. When we went outside to get our truck, WE had to flag down a worker, because apparently we're expected to figure everything out on our own. As we circled the truck doing an "inspection" (which was clearly rushed), the worker had the balls to make a nasty comment about my husband's personal appearance. We were perfectly kind to this man and there is no excuse for that sort of behavior... especially toward paying customers! So, how to improve? 1. Replace the current employees with more competent workers. 2. Consider sending future employees to customer service training... because whoever is doing it now clearly has no experience in that regard. 3. Have an on-site supervisor who is not tucked away in a back office. These people need to be babysat in order to do a decent job. And if there is an on-site supervisor... hire another one. You're gonna need at least two at a time to watch these jokers. We will never be back and plan to tell all of our military connections to avoid using this sad excuse of a business. They do not deserve service members' hard-earned dollars, or anyone else's, for that matter.

Absolutely brutal experience, that has led me to never use U-Haul again. My pod was lost, then found in a different city, then was “forgotten” to get scheduled. The lack of communication from the service people to myself was absolutely non existent. 0 stars if I could.

The person that assisted me took down the wrong phone number and email address. I never received text messages or emails from uhaul at first. When I called the number to schedule my turn in, I could not go to a location that was close. I was forced to drop off the vehicle more than 30 miles away.

I would recommend changing the motion sensors and cameras. Not all angles are covered in the halls, mostly just the entrances. Other than that it is a great place to store whatever you need.
