The manager went above and beyond for me and my family during an all time low. Made everything as easy as he could, and all went as smooth to his design! We are so grateful !

maurice w. | Premières impressionsThe person at uhaul we dealt with seemed to know what he was doing however he misquoted the amount per mile at 0,89 versus what I was charged which was 1.09. I got gas 2 miles from the store in order to refill to the amount that we started with and have the receipt to show I put in 36,33 and it put it a little bit above the 3/4 of a tank that we started with and I was charged close to $60 for the gas that wasn't missing. Another over charge was the actual mileage, I paid for 35 miles prior to taking the truck and trailer and was charged for an additional 88 miles, not taking off the 35 I had previously paid for, so essentially I paid for the 35 miles 2 times. As mentioned before I also paid 0,2 cents more a mile. So all in all it was a horrible experience and I was completely ripped off. I attempted to contact the store and rectify the situation, but the person I spoke to did not listen to my reasoning as to why I disagreed with the charges, he just kept repeating himself in regards to the rate being 1,09 due to Friday being included in the weekend, Uhaul is actually the only place on earth that considers Friday a part of the weekend. I am extremely unhappy with my uhaul experience, in the future I will look for a different company to rent from in addition to sharing my experience with anyone who will listen.

Socrates D.Absolutely the words customer service I've ever received in my entire life. I drove the truck home only to realize there was no lift or ramp provided. To get my heavy items on the truck. When I informed them of this they told me they were not able to help in any way. I then told them that I wished to return the truck and wanted a refund. Despite this, they did not refund anything. They gave me a bunch of baloney on charges that couldn't be done. I will actively avoid Uhaul and encourage everyone I meet to never use this company again. And to whomever reads this, this is the first time in my life I've ever left a review like this. I got out of my way to be respectful and this offices conduct was completely unacceptable for anyone who wishes to work in customer service.
Jordan L.Customer service / staff was very nice. They know their business and made the process simple and streamed lined. The only thing I can really mention is that I ordered an appliance dolly but there was none available when I went to pick up, They staff did give me a utility dolly but I was moving appliances so the appliances dolly was a must. I made do with what I received but was disappointed in not being able to have the equipment I requested. Again staff was super nice and helpful, just didn't have the dolly I request when I made my reservation online. Thanks, I appreciate UHaul wanting to know how things went on my recent rental.

James W.Requested a 26 foot truck was told the location closest to me would have it. Got a call that day saying they don't have it and they said another location had it so we agreed. The other location did not have it and ended up making more trips with the smaller truck. Not impressed.
Tyler H.The truck was clean and well maintained and the staff were helpful and nice. However, all the materials that I needed to go with the truck were unavailable. There were no hand trucks, dollies or furniture blankets available to rent, I had to go to 3 other locations to get everything I needed.

Faith J.Uhaul needs to adjust the gas credit on return. Started with 1/8 tank and returned with half a tank. Seems it should have been more than 25 bucks with today's prices, Uhaul can do better especially when you're charging 1,09 a mile now.

The woman at the desk didn't walk me to the unit and I had to return to the office to ask for the location. She highlighted an area on a sheet of paper and handed it to me. Once I finally located my assigned unit it was secured with 2 locks and a tag for non payment. I walked back to the office and told her the unit was locked and she assigned me another unit. I asked if there was one closer and she said no. Upon entering the building there was trash everywhere! This was a horrible experience and I honestly don't feel comfortable leaving my belongings here. Please KEEP THE BUILDING CLEAN and properly train staff.

Sierra have a nice warm welcome when I entered the building and helped me find the best unit to fit my needs. Not only that, but expressed some concerns over going in a separate building alone and asked about rolling carts. Sierra walks with my to the other building, helps me find the unit (awesome location that fits my needs and limitations) and then helps me unload my car and roll items back to my unit. She went so out of her way. She was incredibly friendly and caring. She even gave my dog love. The prices are fantastic, the facility is clean and the employees are great. Sierra thank you so much for everything today!

Her staff, though not always able to provide answers or resolve a problem, are always very friendly and they do try their best to solve problems. I will tell you that the experience of renting the u-boxes in Napa was nightmarish and I would never use the service again. Why does this matter? Because my husband and daughter are moving here in March and they won't be using U-haul because of problems I had. There are multiple options for storage in this area and I will compare them before choosing one. Thank you! Kathy W. Kirkland

The only available storage was a good 300 plus foot walk from the loading dock. Carts were provided but to have to make several trips would not be convenient for me. The staff was good and told me they would cancel my reservation. It threw me for a loop because I am military and I thought everything was set. Now I am scrambling to find storage.

I called several different Uhauls places and got the Uhaul call center which I got a call back from the local site saying the call center has overbooked them and they needed to change my pick up time. I took a chance and called Casey's store and was told to come on and a truck would be waiting for me.. Got there and she made it happen .. our other storage plans fell through and again I called Casey and said hey I need storage and she said I got you when you get here … she is a problem solver .. and worked to make her customers happy… what stood out the most is when she explained something to me and my response was really Casey you should have said this and she said "but I will not go home with that on my conscious because that would not be the truth ".. she was a blessing !!! I'm sure she will be my go to Uhaul site in the future !!

The forgot to check my unit out when I moved out and I was charged, but when I went in to talk to them about it they were very apologetic and helpful. They made things right. This location is very bust and deserve to have more staff on! Thank you for all your help!

Karrah Z. | Online Move InOn two separate occasions, the employee(s) tried to say that my debit card was not on file when it clearly was. This was confirmed by Kaitlin. The first time it resulted in us leaving our things in the truck overnight, Just so happened we had a lock. The second night (last night) that guy tried to say we didn't have a card on file , according to my Son ( I was not with him) the guy was dropping the "F" bomb repeatedly. My son was there with just his girl friend. The guy gave him an upstairs room , knowing he was by himself with a hutch and a five piece dinette set. Having worked all day, my Son asked if he would help him really quick and was told no but if he hung around for 2-3 hours he would help him when he got off work.

We were on a time crunch and 30 minutes was wasted trying to find a unit that was available for us. Thankfully the staff was super friendly and made accommodations. I think that uhaul needs a better system to make it easier for staff and in the future, they don't run into the issue of people reserving units that aren't actually available.

Used movinghelp.com and had to pay them for the time it took to figure everything out so we are out of that money! Very displeased, the initial gesture from uhaul to offer a free month of storage with a rental was great but it turned out to be a disaster to secure storage coming from a 7 hour drive.

By resetting my unit I suppose is the reason my code didn't work the next time I re entered the building and had to wait for them to reset it. The alarm went off every time I opened and closed the door to my unit. I was disappointed in my experience

DAVID M. | Expérience généraleI rented 4 units for several months getting ready to move cross country before finally renting a trailer to complete the move. During that time I had the opportunity to work with the entire staff at one time or another from moving in, purchasing moving supplies, coordinating my movers for the load out, and renting trucks and trailers. Everyone was always polite, kind, professional, and willing to go the extra little bit to make sure that I had everything I needed and was able to get done what I needed to be able to move and store my belongings. From the GM (Casey) on down it was a wonderful experience and made at least one part of moving convenient and hassle free. Would recommend this location to anyone in the Sanford/Fort Bragg area that needed storage or moving supplies/vehicles.

Amanda S. | Premières impressionsI had put above average rating, but there are 2 huge issues I have to note, and after writing them out I dropped it to average. 1) the alarm in the storage area. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or rain why it goes off, but I was there laying for 2 hours and it seemed to go off every 5 minutes. It's ear piercing, which is good, but when there are several people logged into the system, it shouldn't go off that much. 2) I didn't expect to be as tall as the ceiling in the locker. Very low height, and one has a pole right snack dab in the middle. That made loading furniture difficult. If I only had that locker, would've been impossible. Clean, well lit facility. Friendly staff. Lockers were supposed to be picked for me before I returned with my stuff, but weren't. Good thing I got there early enough to do all the selection process before my moving help arrived.

The day I moved in I stated I would be out of state and did not need 24 access only for the next 2 days to bring my stuff into the facility. I had trucks and people to help me unload my house and put it into storage it would have taken hours. I got there and was locked out. So my man power and trucks had to go to work. So it took me 4 ,12 hour days. I was late moving had to rent a truck and lost 3 days of work. The GM told me that they already compensated me with a free month of storage so she did not give any more. I lost over 600 just in salary not to mention the truck rental which I had to get somewhere else no deals cut. All from misinformation about access. Storage facility is clean well kept but they are more about money than customer service.

Charles B. | Expérience généraleI'm grateful to have storage that fits my needs. Finding dead roaches was not instilling confidence in how much they take pride in cleaning. The outside bays have so much trash and glass, there's others obvious garbage in the area for recycling of others things which everything in that area is garbage dirty and probably attracting more bugs and worse maybe rodents. I also didn't get my deposit returned to me seemed this is the second place in a month that's done this. I still haven't gotten my deposit from the facility I dropped a uhaul trailer at in Medford Oregon! Plus, the trailer I contacted for in Medford to come to NC ended up with a flat and the tire expert told me that Uhaul should've never allowed that trailer out of the parking lot, let alone travel the distance I had to. Now Uhaul owes me $120 that I'm sure I'll never see. Uhaul used to be on top of their game 100 % and there's no excuse for the decline in all areas if customer satisfaction. I think it's time for me to look into other options if this is the new normal for all Uhaul locations because I've dealt with nothing but worse service since I left the Uhaul in Charlotte earlier this year. I'm very disappointed!
