The equipment was clean, however I rented a 26 ft truck that had a flat tire on the inner rear driver side. I knew something was off by the appearance of the wear on the other tires. I still had quite a few more items to get but I just returned the truck because I didn't think was was safe to operate.James D.

I made a reservation for 12 blankets and a appliance dolly, but when I showed up, they had given out their last appliance dolly the day before and only had 6 blankets available. I do not understand what was the purpose of me making a reservation if the items were going to be given away.Shawn R.

Do not endanger the lives of person driving long distances by improperly hooking a trailer to a vehicle - It was by the GRACE OF GOD that my 5 Hour drive was without fatality to my vehicle , the 6 by 12 trailer as well to those who followed me on the roadways - I give GLORY TO GOD after learning at the drop off site that the trailer was not put on to my vehicle properly ,GOD ,JE:SUS ,The HOKY SPIRIT and the HOLY ANGELS protected me and my 7 year old grandson . I am 70 years old and at one stop I was informed how I had been done wrong by the U-Haul as my trailer was dragging so low - I prayed to GOD and the HOLY ANGELs to protect us .GOD truly answered my prayers - We arrive safely to our destination -unloaded and dropped off the trailer and the attendant even told me that the trailer was not properly hooked up to my vehicle as it entirely too low without anything inside the trailer. I am thankful yo be unharmed and no one else was harmed - I will not file a complaint - just pray no one else will have improper trailer hookups in JESUS NAME !!!!brenda C.

Floors were very clean, staff was great, and customer support amazing. However, it seems that people are dragging roaches in the storage facility and we saw big and small ones. There is possibility that some got in too our stuff. Not sure the fix for it, but definitely a problem. Let me just say , I was having the most ABSOLUTE horrible few days with my move & this location was very welcoming, friendly, empathetic, nice, etc. To be honest , hands down this location gave me one of the most best customer service experience EVER in my life. The general manager was amazing as well ! He was such a heaven sent ! Took care of us the whole way through. I recommend this location 1 000 %! I wish them well !Jaynisa G.
Answer the phone. Quit trying to scam customers and fix your customer service. First time I rented van was told I could only have it for 6 hours because it was being rented next day. This van something wrong with rear end. Next van I rented had to use it next day could not get anyone on phone to let them know this 10 times I called. Then took van back tried to get them to check me in so I would know if there was any more charges WOULD NOT do it said they would bill me. Well they took out first payment then turned around and took out $57 for second day then e mail said I owed $90 some for mileage. Difference in mileage from getting it to returning it was 149 miles I had 50 miles on my agreement for the first day have no ideal what they put on second one. Tried calling them. When I got e mail because I could not get there before they closed NO ANSWER 10 calls. Today I tried calling over 20 times 10 of which was back to back. I live 52 miles away from this place. I have to work so trying to get there wasn't an option. So tried to get someone to answer why I was being charged over and beyond. Called your customer service an hour wait before I could speak to someone called them 2 times. Tried your on line crap no answer . Finally got to talk to someone which was no help who sent me to some law firm.... I don't need a layer I have my own . Will be speaking with him and better busines bureau because I feel like I am being scammed not to.menyion social media. I will drive to Sanford tomorrow to speak with them in person but I am not a not a happy camper. Oh and this van felt like transmission was going out on top of that which I informed the so called representative that dayPATRICIA B.

You already have. I had a negative experience there regarding a trailer hitch install, but I was appropriately compensated for it. At that time and previous visits, the team members (except the gentleman who was able to finish the hitch install, he has always been a professional) had a laid back and non-customer service oriented mindset. I have dealt with that location three times since then, and each time I can clearly see a difference in team members attitude and customer service skills. I am quite pleased with what I see and would now be happy to recommend this location.RICK D.

The person at uhaul we dealt with seemed to know what he was doing however he misquoted the amount per mile at 0,89 versus what I was charged which was 1.09. I got gas 2 miles from the store in order to refill to the amount that we started with and have the receipt to show I put in 36,33 and it put it a little bit above the 3/4 of a tank that we started with and I was charged close to $60 for the gas that wasn't missing. Another over charge was the actual mileage, I paid for 35 miles prior to taking the truck and trailer and was charged for an additional 88 miles, not taking off the 35 I had previously paid for, so essentially I paid for the 35 miles 2 times. As mentioned before I also paid 0,2 cents more a mile. So all in all it was a horrible experience and I was completely ripped off. I attempted to contact the store and rectify the situation, but the person I spoke to did not listen to my reasoning as to why I disagreed with the charges, he just kept repeating himself in regards to the rate being 1,09 due to Friday being included in the weekend, Uhaul is actually the only place on earth that considers Friday a part of the weekend. I am extremely unhappy with my uhaul experience, in the future I will look for a different company to rent from in addition to sharing my experience with anyone who will listen.Blythe R.

Absolutely the words customer service I've ever received in my entire life. I drove the truck home only to realize there was no lift or ramp provided. To get my heavy items on the truck. When I informed them of this they told me they were not able to help in any way. I then told them that I wished to return the truck and wanted a refund. Despite this, they did not refund anything. They gave me a bunch of baloney on charges that couldn't be done. I will actively avoid Uhaul and encourage everyone I meet to never use this company again. And to whomever reads this, this is the first time in my life I've ever left a review like this. I got out of my way to be respectful and this offices conduct was completely unacceptable for anyone who wishes to work in customer service.Jordan L.

Customer service / staff was very nice. They know their business and made the process simple and streamed lined. The only thing I can really mention is that I ordered an appliance dolly but there was none available when I went to pick up, They staff did give me a utility dolly but I was moving appliances so the appliances dolly was a must. I made do with what I received but was disappointed in not being able to have the equipment I requested. Again staff was super nice and helpful, just didn't have the dolly I request when I made my reservation online. Thanks, I appreciate UHaul wanting to know how things went on my recent rental.Amado G.

I had an injured ankle , without asking, he hooked everything up for me, double checked it all and then happened to be there the next day when I brought it back. Desk person was polite but not very helpful I was new to the facility and needed help finding my unit. The woman at the desk didn't walk me to the unit and I had to return to the office to ask for the location. She highlighted an area on a sheet of paper and handed it to me. Once I finally located my assigned unit it was secured with 2 locks and a tag for non payment. I walked back to the office and told her the unit was locked and she assigned me another unit. I asked if there was one closer and she said no. Upon entering the building there was trash everywhere! This was a horrible experience and I honestly don't feel comfortable leaving my belongings here. Please KEEP THE BUILDING CLEAN and properly train staff.Ronald J. | Online Move In
I just have to give a glowing review about one of your employees, Sierra. Sierra have a nice warm welcome when I entered the building and helped me find the best unit to fit my needs. Not only that, but expressed some concerns over going in a separate building alone and asked about rolling carts. Sierra walks with my to the other building, helps me find the unit (awesome location that fits my needs and limitations) and then helps me unload my car and roll items back to my unit. She went so out of her way. She was incredibly friendly and caring. She even gave my dog love. The prices are fantastic, the facility is clean and the employees are great. I was never actually in the unit. The two units I do have are fine and I expect to be moving out in a few months. The manager, Casey Griffin, is exceptional! Her staff, though not always able to provide answers or resolve a problem, are always very friendly and they do try their best to solve problems. I will tell you that the experience of renting the u-boxes in Napa was nightmarish and I would never use the service again. Why does this matter? Because my husband and daughter are moving here in March and they won't be using U-haul because of problems I had. I was told online that this was a drive up and store facility and when I got there it was not. The only available storage was a good 300 plus foot walk from the loading dock. Carts were provided but to have to make several trips would not be convenient for me. The staff was good and told me they would cancel my reservation. OMG to say Casey is GREAT at what she does is an understatement…. I called several different Uhauls places and got the Uhaul call center which I got a call back from the local site saying the call center has overbooked them and they needed to change my pick up time. I took a chance and called Casey's store and was told to come on and a truck would be waiting for me.. Got there and she made it happen .. our other storage plans fell through and again I called Casey and said hey I need storage and she said I got you when you get here … she is a problem solver .. and worked to make her customers happy… what stood out the most is when she explained something to me and my response was really Casey you should have said this and she said "but I will not go home with that on my conscious because that would not be the truth ".. she was a blessing !!! I used this location as a drop off for my trailer, I picked up a trailer and I rented a unit. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful. The forgot to check my unit out when I moved out and I was charged, but when I went in to talk to them about it they were very apologetic and helpful. They made things right. On two separate occasions, the employee(s) tried to say that my debit card was not on file when it clearly was. This was confirmed by Kaitlin. The first time it resulted in us leaving our things in the truck overnight, Just so happened we had a lock. The second night (last night) that guy tried to say we didn't have a card on file , according to my Son ( I was not with him) the guy was dropping the "F" bomb repeatedly. My son was there with just his girl friend. The guy gave him an upstairs room , knowing he was by himself with a hutch and a five piece dinette set. While the staff was helpful and nice, we had an issue with the storage unit we initially reserved. We had to get another unit. We were on a time crunch and 30 minutes was wasted trying to find a unit that was available for us. Thankfully the staff was super friendly and made accommodations. I think that uhaul needs a better system to make it easier for staff and in the future, they don't run into the issue of people reserving units that aren't actually available.Abraham N. | Premières impressions
The unit we reserved wasn't available . Offered much smaller units that had water inside of them and in many different places! Used movinghelp.com and had to pay them for the time it took to figure everything out so we are out of that money! My code didn't work initially, then my unit was already claimed by someone else. By resetting my unit I suppose is the reason my code didn't work the next time I re entered the building and had to wait for them to reset it. During that time I had the opportunity to work with the entire staff at one time or another from moving in, purchasing moving supplies, coordinating my movers for the load out, and renting trucks and trailers. Everyone was always polite, kind, professional, and willing to go the extra little bit to make sure that I had everything I needed and was able to get done what I needed to be able to move and store my belongings. From the GM (Casey) on down it was a wonderful experience and made at least one part of moving convenient and hassle free. I had put above average rating, but there are 2 huge issues I have to note, and after writing them out I dropped it to average. 1) the alarm in the storage area. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or rain why it goes off, but I was there laying for 2 hours and it seemed to go off every 5 minutes. It's ear piercing, which is good, but when there are several people logged into the system, it shouldn't go off that much. 2) I didn't expect to be as tall as the ceiling in the locker. Very low height, and one has a pole right snack dab in the middle. That made loading furniture difficult. If I only had that locker, would've been impossible. Clean, well lit facility. Friendly staff. Lockers were supposed to be picked for me before I returned with my stuff, but weren't. Good thing I got there early enough to do all the selection process before my moving help arrived.Brent E. | Premières impressions
I was not thrilled with my customer service experience. The day I moved in I stated I would be out of state and did not need 24 access only for the next 2 days to bring my stuff into the facility. I had trucks and people to help me unload my house and put it into storage it would have taken hours. I got there and was locked out. So my man power and trucks had to go to work. So it took me 4 ,12 hour days. I was late moving had to rent a truck and lost 3 days of work. The GM told me that they already compensated me with a free month of storage so she did not give any more. I lost over 600 just in salary not to mention the truck rental which I had to get somewhere else no deals cut. All from misinformation about access. Overall the location was clean. My unit had oil leaking from the adjacent unit. The manager gave me a pack of furniture pads to cover the spill. It worked.
