Very disappointed in the time to pick-up. The person was very good. But when you pre pay, enter all your information online, it should just be much quicker. Had to enater all the information all over again. Very frustrating.

The problem that I had that I was not able to pick up the pool table with the vehicle that I was given there was no ramp no liftgate the pool table weighs 1000 pounds how do you move something like that with U HAUL Equipment In fact I didn’t even see a trailer that I could probably use most of them were car trailers I ended up doing a dry run and bring in the vehicle right back I called them to let them know but I’m not sure if I am getting a discount he never called me back

I reserved a 26 footer a week ahead of time. When I showed up they did not have one. They gave me a 20 footer at the same price as the 26 footer. It took us an extra trip and cost us more miles and gas and time. I’m not happy about that.

The truck was late we waited for a half hour. They said there was a half a tank of gas I get in and turn it on and there was only a quarter tank of gas. The miles were also off by 80 miles the odometer had an extra 80 miles that was on the paper and I had to go back for that to be fixed as well.

My entire experience with Uhaul was a horrible experience. This is true of most of the customer service reps on the phone and at various locations. Nothing went as planned and few at Uhaul seemed to care. The personnel at the above mentioned location were nice but the Ubox was damaged when it arrived. The box could not have a lock on it because there was damage around where the lock was. I gave the rep at this location a new lock and he lost the key. Uhaul provided a new lock but the Ubox was left open for several days. This was the worst moving experience I have had as far a rental of materials goes. Unfortunately where I live does not allow for many other moving places therefore I was stuck with Uhaul. Given the chance I would definitely go with another provider.

There were two people working when I arrived but the lady was “training”. When we walked in and said hello she made it a point to say “I’d help you, but I don’t know how to do that”, then she sat down at the end of the counter and got on her phone, not even attempting to watch the gentleman that was helping us. My moving blankets were left out of the truck. When I called, I said I couldn’t drive an hour back to pick them up. I had to remind them several times to please remove them from my contract. Our truck needed an oil change and the tire pressure sensors were broken (both lights on) The gentleman that was working was super friendly and busting his butt. I am thankful for him.

I reserved a vehicle with an electric lift gate. What I received was one with a ramp instead. I was told that there were NO electric liftgates in the fleet anymore.... I wish that was made clear on the website.

Customer service is horrible at the Santa Maria way location, they have one person working the counter and taking care of pick ups and returns. I waited 45 min for my truck and the customer ahead of me waited 1 hr for theirs. Also purchased the pro set of mattress covers which were crap do yourself a favor and don’t spend the 15.95. The 3.95 cover will work ok but that’s also crap, but I guess it’s better then nothing. Will go with another company next time for sure. Very disappointed with the overall experience.

Great customer service and quick pick up, easy drop off. Had an issue with the out mileage but that got fixed and credited. Excited for this location to be fully renovated and ready to go.

1.Objects in box all fell over like the box was tipped. 2. Way too many blankets- took up 1/8 of the box. 3. Difficulty getting my box to me after the pick up location closed down (which i was not informed about). 4. Delivered the box without confirming the drop off location. I moved to a different house , and the box was left in front of original address. No one ever called to tell me it was being delivered! I found out when I called to give them the new address and they said “it was already delivered last Friday” (3days prior!) 5. A new Santa Maria location opened and I was told by the regional office to deliver the empty box there . I waited 20min at the location because only 1 employee staffed. Then he told me they do not accept Ubox’s at that location. I was told specifically to bring it there. 6. I was also charged for 2 months storage during all this time while the box sat empty. Told first month would be refunded, but wasn’t. Had to call again. I was even charged one month fee AFTER I already returned the box. *This was a complete mess of poor communication and poor management on the delivery end of this box.

It was a smooth process. The guy that helped me out at the Boone St location made the process really smooth. Had an issue with drop off and had an extra charge so I went in and within 3 minutes of speaking to the same guy he figured everything out for me. Would definitely come back to this location not only because of the equipment but because of the helpful staff.

Location is too large (old Kmart building), only one worker with no sense of urgency. I called to get a trailer on Saturday at 9 A. M. after three phone calls to the dispatcher (that has a 25 min hold time) being sent to the wrong location where Nobody was there, I didn’t get a trailer till 12:30 P. M.
