After the phone hanging up on me 5 times the day prior, Don hung up on me when I asked that he look at the contract return date. When I called back he put me on hold several times. The contract has a discrepancy, and instead of taking responsibility for it, he hung up on me. Horrible service.

I was first sent by Uhaul reservation to a location that didn't have the trailer I had reserved. Had to drive to the main uhaul dealership for the trai.er. That was very annoying. The trailer I rented was buried behind 5 other trailers even though there were 2 others that I was parked right next too.? Go figure. 20 minutes later after moving the extra trailers I was able to get hooked up. Funny, I had been parked right in front of the exact same trailer and could have been hooked up in 30 seconds. When I returned the trailer the next day, yes just 24 hrs, the trailer in front was still sitting there. My first choice of rental was a 2 axle covered trailer. NON WERE AVAILABLE. When I picked the smaller trailer up 2 of the 5 that had to be moved were the 2 axle trailer that I originally wanted to rent. FUNNY. They were still sitting there when I returned the smaller trailer that you allowed me to rent. Very disappointed. Unfortunately my local rental shops don't have covered trailers so I'm stuck dealing with Uhaul.

Last time I rented a uhaul I went to pick it up and they rented it to someone else or it just wasn't available. No sorry no let's see what I can do. Simply too bad so sad. This time I rented and was sure to call a few days in advance. I was told thankfully it would be there. When I picked up the keys the guys handed them over and said my uhaul will be out front and someone will be there to give you your dolly appliance. We stood out there no uhaul nobody there with the dolly. I went back inside and said nobody is out there and which one is our uhaul ? He said I told you (which he did not) you have to go out and find it yourself match the keys to the truck. Now why would anyone have to go on a scavenger hunt to find a truck. This truck was way far behind there facility we would of never found it. So finally the guy with the dolly shows up and is irritated he has to help us go find the uhaul on the back of the property. Am I missing something? So disappointed. A little customer service would be nice.

I made my reservation a month ago in San Rafael and was expecting to pick up the vehicle at that location. I got a call 3 hours before pick up and I was told that there was no trucks available and had to go to Santa Rosa or San Francisco for pick up. Messed up my day.

Fire the manager...I made a reservation 2 weeks prior to my move day and when I got there 1,5 hours late due to traffic and paying for my moving crew he gave my 26ft truck to someone els without a reservation. When I said how could this happen he said its policy to rent it out after an hour....super bad attitude and same when I returned my 20 ft truck which I had to use it twice because the truck I got was too small. Waste of time and money...super bumbed he ruined my move...

This location runs very smoothly. The only time I've this location struggle is when the customers are having a battle with their own struggles. The staff do their best to help and politely, but usually the customer is the issue. The staff have always been great to me.

It was clean, but smoked in heavily and the smell was super aggressive. The customer service was EXCELLENT. Will only use this location for my nonprofit business from now on.

Not this locations fault but Uhaul initially tried to make us drive 3 hours away just to pick up a Uhaul we scheduled almost 2 weeks prior to pickup. Once sorted out, working with Willie and Don made the experience much better.

There was a glitch in your system which caused the staff to think I was returning to the wrong location and they were going to charge me a fee. They figured out the problem and there was no fee. Tia was very nice and helpful about the confusion.

I didn't realize how dirty the windshield was until I pulled out into the sun and saw how badly streaked it was. No amount of running the windshield wipers would help the streaking on the inside. Seems simple to put a little more effort in making sure the windshield is clean and safe. The mat didn't look like it had been washed but I can let that go. Also upon drop off I was use to getting a receipt showing the firm price for my rental. I was told if there were any changes it would be added to my bill and I would be emailed. Didn't like that vagueness. Otherwise, I do love the convenience of using UHaul vans!

Staff checking the vehicle in on return acted annoyed at actually being asked to check me in so I could pay the bill and be done. The gentleman who set me up the day before was quite pleasant so the check in experience was very off-putting.

This location seems to be short staffed ( sign of the times, maybe). But the staff is very helpful and friendly getting you on the way safely with the rented equipment.

Reserved a 15 foot truck and when my husband got there they gave him a 10' truck and they charged the same amount. It took us several trips to finish moving and when I called the manager was very rude and he told me I had the option to take it or leave it because that's all they had and also told me their trucks were getting stolen which is not my problem as a customer.

I ordered the 17' truck about a month in advance and when I show up the day of to pick it up they didn't have it, and they could of at least told me a day before, but they never did, the people in front of me in line were able to get a 17' foot truck and they didn't reserve it ahead of time like me, all they had left was a 10' truck and it just made things worse more trips to do

I always come here but today was a weird day. I guess there is as a robbery several days a go. Do me truck was not available the very wonderful assistant was trying his best, but keys were mixed up and he was very embarrassed. His team mate pitched in to help and they finally found me a 10' truck. I wanted a15' with ramp because of some very heavy stuff. Anyway it was crazy. I he crew was great but the process was not good.

I reserved my trailer a month in advance. I was coming to California from Oregon and at the very last minute my trailer in San Francisco was now unavailable. I had to rush to Santa Rosa, 120 extra miles out of my way, to pick up a different one. They had absolutely no sympathy for putting me in that situation. Customer service was horrible!!! Cost is an extra day and due to the delay it poured 6 hours of our 8 hour trip back to Oregon. They offered me a measly 50 $discount 😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬

I couldn't even use my key card to access the storage unit because the swiping door lock doesn't work I would always have to walk inside and wait for some one to come and open it with a different key. I let them know I didn't want the storage unit anymore and emptied it out before the month was over and they were still trying to charge me for the next month with late fees

The drop off area was full with moving vans. It wasn't clear that I could drop off my trailer to the right. Once I figured this out, Willie was helpful and the drop off was easy

My 10" truck smelled like beer and had spilled beer all over that I couldn't even place my mattress down. I felt so upset that I didn't even want to pay for that.

U haul swapped pick up location on us with no notification

I ordered a hitch online and paid 322 dollars for it. When I got to my appointment in Santa Rosa, after driving two hours to that location, they did not have the part. They refused to give me a full refund, shorting me about 70 dollars from the recipt that I had in person. They told me I would have to take it up with corporate. I have taken it up with corporate. They say I have to go back to Santa Rosa for my refund. There is supposedly someone looking into it via email but I haven't heard anything. I've spent hours on the phone. I've spent hours driving. I paid 322 dollars for a giant headache and waste of my time, and I still have more time to waste if I want to get my money back. This service was horrible all around in every area, from customer service in Santa Rosa to corporate phone calls. I'm hoping someone will help me make it right, but the amount of personal time and energy required to get my money back seems futile and daunting. This is criminal. Really awful experience.

I would really apricate receiving a call from customer service. Renting this uhaul was extremely difficult. I was treated horribly at two different locations. The truck I finally picked up was not ready with the requested dollys. I still have not received a credit for the dollys. There was barely any gas in the truck. It took me 4,5 hours to pick up the truck only to be treated horribly.
