ZACHARYJAMES H.The equipment was clean - But there was a spare tire on one of the wheels - when I went to leave the low tire pressure light was on. I returned to the staff to ask why the light was on- Their response was ‘that one is a spare you are fine' I wasn't going far- however I'm under the impression that a spare tire isn't meant to get places long term- so why is a truck being rented with the spare as it's primary tire? The change oil Light was also on. I realize those can be on for a bit before it becomes a major issue… But I shouldn't be given a truck that has tire problems when I pull out of the lot.

Patrick B.This was my first UHaul rental. I didn't expect the truck to be so "used" but maybe that is how all these trucks are. The truck was very useable but since you ask, these are things that can be improved: 1. The truck cab was not clean. 2. The knob to roll the window up and down is missing and I had to use the truck at a facility that needed me to badge in and out, repeatedly; the window is hard to operate without a knob. 3. The key and ignition are hard to use and start the truck; one time it took almost 5 minutes to get the right key position to start the truck. 4. The mirrors are not adjustable and being short I had to move the seat up and should have moved the mirrors. 5. Very hard to adjust the seat to reach the pedals; the adjustment lever might be bent .

Richard S.I rented it for two days and 254 miles. I didn't realize she put in 200 miles. The wipers didn't work on low or high only on the lower part of intermittent. So I drove all the way back in the rain and hitting the wipe button so I could see since the wiper smear cross the windshield. When I got there to return it all she said to me is give my the keys you can go. Like I say I told her about the wipers and to go out and check the truck. When I always return a u- haul truck then always went out and check it. She gave me attitude about it but went out. Came in and told me I went 41 over my miles. She got piss and told me in the computer it said I only had 200 miles and I did 241 mile so I was 41 miles over. I tried to show her the rental paper I had that said I had a two day rental and 254 miles. She told me she didn't want to see them and to get out of the building. She walk alway and went outside. So I took the manager card to call them. I called the manager and told him I was at his store and he hung up on me. So I called your headquarters and talk to a nice lady on the phone. She took my information from me. I got a email later that day told me I won't be Charged for anything else. I will never go back to that store again. Extremely bad customer service at that store.

Rachel W.This was supposed to be my first storage unit. Online when I booked it never stated it was upper with no stairwell connected. I can't carry large heavy items up those stairs alone. They offered me a bigger one on the bottom but it would've been double the cost. Also the part that really bothered me was the employee walking me to the unit in the 800 had me squeeze through the ladder to get by. What if I was much heavier???!! Isn't that a fire hazard not putting those things away when not in use?! I ended up asking for my lock refund and insurance refund and leaving

The facility is well cared for and the manager, ShaTeke Clark, was very helpful in answering any questions I had throughout the time of rental. I said no to the "Access Hours" convenience only because I am a night owl and being able to access in the middle of the night could be useful as I found myself wanting to put more items in around 1am after coming back from a trip to move my son into a dorm at his college in New Hampshire. But for most individuals this may not be an issue.

I had already paid and now find myself looking for alternatives. There was also a couple pieces of small trash items on the floor of the unit which means it wasn't cleaned.

Once it hit and we started to get behind, the customer service line would direct me to call the facility to set up payment arrangements. But each time I contacted the facility, I was told payment arrangements were not possible, even during a time when everyone was losing money and unable to fend for themselves. This facility took no regard for the struggles of its patrons and profited off of that instead.

maureen g. | Premières impressionsMoving in was a nightmare. The staff informed my older children that they we "high as f***" when they were assisting them because of a lock that had broke. I needed the large unit, and this was the last one. I was told because of the lock they were going to need to move me to a smaller unit. After I called them up they figured out how to get the lock off and I was able to keep the unit. Not after they had charged me for the smaller unit. Now I have two charged on my account for 2 units. I am being told that it will fall off. I wait the three days and it cleared. I have to go in once again to clear this up. Here comes the next month and I am supposedly set up on auto pay. This is in fact not the case. Because when they were playing hop scotch with my unit they also cancelled this. I go in and I am assured it is now set up again and the 45 dollars on charges they said they will waive. Well here comes the next month and guess what is not set up. Oh yes my auto pay. I just moved all of my things out of the storage because I am being inconvenienced in having to go there every time there needs to be a bill paid or I need to resolve the issue of incompetent staff.

The female threw a lock across the facility missing my 13 year olds sons head by inches. The staff did apologize for the actions of this couple. My 6 kids were pretty shook up from the incident.
