JAMES M.I was disappointed to be offered a storage space to accommodate the 26' Uhaul truck in a 12' space after I reserved a 20'. I was luckily able to locate a different place to store my items, however this proved to add unnecessary costly miles to my rental and wasted my, and my movers, time. Better communication in the future for your customers. :-(

Oliver B.Vehicle was not clean and one tire had a gouge in its sidewall and it's air pressure was very low. They had no way to fill it at the facility, so I had to take care of that on my way. It needed additional air the next day so it had a slow leak. Fortunately I had a portable compressor to have with me in the event it needed air during my trip. Any tire with a gouge in its sidewall presents a blow out risk and should be changed. The windshield was so covered with dead bugs it made visibility an issue. I also had to clean that myself. I will say that the staff that I dealt with were very friendly and professional and I had the impression they didn't have control over the fact that their air compressor did not work. The reasons I would still recommend the location is due to its convenient location, the friendly workers, and the availability of different vehicles.
Bryon C.I rented a cargo van on 7/17/2022. I picked the van at 11:20 am and dropped it off at 3:48 pm. When I took the van out, it had 23 614,3 miles, and at the time I returned it, it had 23 640 miles. So I drove the van 25,7 miles. Three days after dropping the van off I got an email saying I owed $185. for driving the van 475,7 miles. The employee at the Rotterdam, NY location had the mileage at 23 164,3 miles instead of the correct 23 614,3 miles. So their clerical error is costing me almost $200 bucks. The kicker is that it's not physically or mathematically possible to drive 475 miles in just over 4 hours. Because I didn't have photo evidence of the mileage when I took the van out, they said there's nothing that they can do. I recommend staying FAR away from this location. There is something fishy going on there.

John V.The workers were very nice and the truck was there when needed, check out and in was fast and efficient, BUT it was absolutely filthy , smelled horribly like cigars and had 2 broken mirrors. They said the trucks are in high demand people are renting them just for doing their jobs around town so I think if you had more trucks at this location they would have more time to clean and fix them!

Kimberly C.everyone was friendly but what was weird was while driving the truck the sensor for the left tire pressure was going off, was a bit annoying and did make me nervous that the tire would give out but it didnt. def would rate this store above average if that wasnt something to worry about and also the storage space that was available i feel is outrageously over priced considering the fact that i would need a ladder to access it which is very inconvenient because the ladder that was available had a broken step at the bottom of it and with heavy items that is deff a safety hazard, and it was small compared to where i actually chose to get a storage space from.

I can't carry large heavy items up those stairs alone. They offered me a bigger one on the bottom but it would've been double the cost. Also the part that really bothered me was the employee walking me to the unit in the 800 had me squeeze through the ladder to get by. What if I was much heavier???!! Isn't that a fire hazard not putting those things away when not in use?! I ended up asking for my lock refund and insurance refund and leaving

The facility is well cared for and the manager, ShaTeke Clark, was very helpful in answering any questions I had throughout the time of rental. I said no to the "Access Hours" convenience only because I am a night owl and being able to access in the middle of the night could be useful as I found myself wanting to put more items in around 1am after coming back from a trip to move my son into a dorm at his college in New Hampshire. But for most individuals this may not be an issue.

Once it hit and we started to get behind, the customer service line would direct me to call the facility to set up payment arrangements. But each time I contacted the facility, I was told payment arrangements were not possible, even during a time when everyone was losing money and unable to fend for themselves. This facility took no regard for the struggles of its patrons and profited off of that instead.

I needed the large unit, and this was the last one. I was told because of the lock they were going to need to move me to a smaller unit. After I called them up they figured out how to get the lock off and I was able to keep the unit. Not after they had charged me for the smaller unit. Now I have two charged on my account for 2 units. I am being told that it will fall off. I wait the three days and it cleared. I have to go in once again to clear this up. Here comes the next month and I am supposedly set up on auto pay. This is in fact not the case. Because when they were playing hop scotch with my unit they also cancelled this. I go in and I am assured it is now set up again and the 45 dollars on charges they said they will waive. Well here comes the next month and guess what is not set up. Oh yes my auto pay. I just moved all of my things out of the storage because I am being inconvenienced in having to go there every time there needs to be a bill paid or I need to resolve the issue of incompetent staff.
