Issue #1 The 2 younger employees at this location had the worst customer service skills I've encountered in a while. There was very little respect showed to me as a paying customer. Their tone and wording was what you would hear between them and some peers. Issue #2 I was at U-Haul to rent a pickup truck and tow dolly. Despite having plenty of equipment, the cashier attempted to “corner†me into buying a tow hitch to connect the pickup truck and tow dolly. I was told they could not rent them and none of their pickup trucks or cargo vans are equipped with tow hitches per the manager. As I was thinking I noticed all of the moving vans were equipped with tow hitches. I decided I would rent a box truck in order to use the tow dolly which was my primary reason for using your rental services. My problem was that the cashier attempted to coerce me into buying equipment I don't need and did not have any suggestions on how to solve my problem. I understand the principle of increasing sells but not providing a complete package is not the solution.
The agent was rude and at first said that they didn't have a truck for me despite having a reservation. When I inquired about the $50 reservation guarantee both seemed shocked and didn't understand what I was talking about. The location is poorly run and very disorganized. There is definitely no way I am going back to this location or even uhaul. I'd glad pay somewhere else that doesn't treat me so rudely.
We were given contract statement with fuel at 1/4 but truck was actually on E with yellow light on. When we asked for corruption it took your agent a half hour to add enough gas for us to get to service station and we were not given credit for the total hour delay that We had to pay our workers. Also yellow engine light came on while we were driving the truck. The Uhaul place is near my house and I feel bad that this happens in my neighborhood.
It was a cool stay . Just too expensive for a college student moving home ..
Keep doing what you are doing.an getting better at doing what you are doing now.
Make sure some employees don't charge clients more money on gasoline when is not supposed to be.

The truck was completely empty on gas when given to me, the truck was very stinky in the inside, they never wipe down these trucks in the inside, it felt very dirty, not even with the COVID19 going on.

I used the app to reserve. The app navigation was very difficult when checking out the truck. It took over an hour to get it from your office. The clerk took a substantial number of pictures of myself and my drivers license. It felt like I was being checked in fir something illegal. I took the time to input my information the day before. All that extra routine was over done and not customer friendly. The app needs to be more straight forward for checkout.
I love the respect they give you. And the help. They are friendly. Totally would go there again

The customer Service is great and it's especially good to see that with a young adult staff. I feel that U-Haul should put gates around the facility because the location is on a rough side of town and at night it is extremely dark with a lot of foot traffic. With more lightly and gates it's sure to create a safe feeling environment. Rating is a 3.5 because of location but the customer service is a 5+. I have been renting weekly for almost a year.

A guy probably wouldn't care but as a woman it would have been nice to have the seats shampooed so it didn't look like I was sitting in dried up semen. Otherwise the service was great!
Staff were quick and friendly. Easy process to drop off the truck and tow trailer.

Reservation w/Confirmation #20777280 was made online and not honored at this location. Instead your AM guy said the Reservation was not there. He made my stressful situation even more stressful. My daughter made reservation online for the purpose of making my move easier, instead this guy turned it into hell. I had to re do reservation "again" start all over meanwhile time is passing by. Those he even realize his job is to check me in asap? Total disregard and disrespect for my time and myself. I have used U-Haul before but this franchise stores make the U-Haul name trash. Oh when I returned the cargo van the PM personnel were very rude it was 7:58pm so I guess I ruined their leaving at 8pm. I did not get a receipt even though the PM guy said "he sent it to my Email. Not true no receipt. I am very dissapointed. No more U-Haul for me.
Make sure that there is some fuel in the trucks.
With Covid going on, you would think the truck would be spotless, it was filthy! Marijuana and cigarette butter, just horrible. I have pictures, when I reported it to them, I was told I should have waited when I was on a time limit very unprofessional!
I am disappointed that I have been charged $150 for little rubber marks on the side of the van, which I did do or pay much attention to because it didn't seem like damage to note because it could be cleaned off. Also, I didn't realize the $150 deductible. I thought once you pay the $25 you are able to walk away, which is why I only noted the scratches. I did not come close to any vehicles that would have caused the scratches, and am requesting that you not charge me for it. I rent vans from you every week at the same location and will examine more thoroughly the vehicles before taking off. Many times in the past when I pointed out things of the sort, the service reps at U-Haul would say, "oh, don't worry about small things like that." I look forward to your response.
The steering wheel had a lot of play the alignment was off the radio didn't work
Customer service is horrible... workers are young & immature, never answers the phone & left me waiting on lobby for almost an hour...when I expressed my anger & frustration a female worker threatened to fight me...prices are high & units are not clean , I’m only choosing to tuff it out because it’s a convenient by distance to my home.. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone...
Make sure that when someone books a truck that the truck is AVAILABLE. I paid for a truck and did not get any notification of no availability. Luckily, a uhaul representative found a truck for us at this location.

I rated this store a 4 because the computers were down which caused us to be delayed. The staff was very kind and helpful. The staff figured a way to get the customers out of the facility and into our trucks in a very pleasant way. I was very Happy with the way everything was handled.

Train your employees on customer service. Employees showed absolutely no professionalism, they were having inappropriate conversations amongst each other, constantly on their phones, and having personal conversations on their phones. I didn't know whether they were talking to me, a co-worker, or someone on the phone.
I had truck problems two blocks away and brought the trailer right back. They still charged me full price. I don't believe that's fair.

The guys in the office were terribly rude. I experienced and they were also rude to another customer that came in after me. You need to get rid of them.

The website told me one thing and when I went in person everything was totally not what I expected. I was under the impression my storage had a promo going for the first months rent free and when I got there it definitely wasn't legit. Also they charged me for the lock and online I was made to think I was getting it for free. There is not elevator and no available unites on the first floor which I wasn't made aware of. I believe that's something you should tell someone especially because you have no idea what they are moving and if that would change their minds. The building is like a maze to get to your unit. The area is full of dope deans and bums.

In recent years it has been very hard to reach this location by phone directly. That’s fine it you are paying for storage.
The facility was disgustingly dirty, I got half way into moving my stuff in when I notice a cockroach the size of my palm. Then I began to notice dead roaches all through out the facility. I was charged when I wasn’t supposed to be for my first month and I had to extend my rental reservation and move all of my belongings out of your storage because it was not properly maintained for users. Beyond disappointing and an incredibly stressful day. Also, the young man didn’t know how to do his job. He had to call his manager every five minutes. He was helpful and assured me I should not be charged for my extended reservation and I will be refunded fully for the unit I do not have. But as such a large company you really should have better systems in place for your locations to run smoothly. Today was a serious joke.
Cockroaches infested my stuff. It looked good before I rented but a few months later infested and paint chipped on all of my stuff

The only reason I would not recommend this place is that your prices are WAY too high. I was only here due to the 30 day free storage after an out of state move.

The staff and hours were beyond par excellent. The facility was very clean and well maintained. The storage lockers themselves could have been better. Shoddy wood construction.
The ladies running the place were so nice, helpful and very pleasant. I was told it “wasn’t a good neighborhood” but the neighborhood is clean and the people are nice.
