I've been renting vehicles and trailers from you guys and this location and my experience this time around was not good at all. First and for most I given a van that was not inspected correctly. I got stuck multiple of times and had to call my brother to help me push it. I couldn't make it up my drive way and also got into a car accident due to the tires being worn out and no life to them. I have photos if you would like me to provide them to you. I highly recommend not renting it until tires are safe. I let the employees at your 1 20th Ave SE, Minot, ND 58701 know what happened and they could care less. Beyond worst experience I've had. I highly also recommend that you have them put ice melt at the drop off. I almost fell a few times so don't want anyone to get hurt. I hope this issue gets fixed and corrected.

I had trouble getting hold of someone via phone after receiving a text to call them regarding my unit. Other than that, it was a very good experience.

Be more attentive to the customers wants and needs. I paid for insurance on rental trucks that I did not want. There was no reimbursement for my expenses. Not a happy customer.

The car transporter had a flat... I put my vehicle onto the trailer and noticed the tire was flat on the trailer in -33 degree weather and I had to unload the car and had to wait for them to fix the flat.

The digital check in was awful. I submitted pictures of the driver's license when I made the reservation and then had to add them again, which is horrible to try and do in the car. Then it had to approve me and I had to go in the store anyway to get the keys. Took way longer than to just go in and get the truck. Will not do again.

I do not do cell phone set up that you have. I tried to do internet check in, but it acted like my pc was a cell phone. I did call national customer support and they where only able to note time truck returned.

Because it snows a lot in Minot and a lot of the times it's negative degrees, the lock to get the key was frozen. Took about 10 mins of blowing hot air on it to defrost it to get the letters in the lock to move. Then the lock mechanism itself was frozen. Another 5 mins to unlock it. I like the concept, but because of the weather it made it a negative experience

Tonya was amazing. She understood how upset I was when I reserved a 26 foot U-haul for 12pm and I didn't get it until 730am the next day. I was devastated need less to say. I had to cancel a lot of plans for a huge move that Tonya made it right.

7/16th of a tank is oddly specific without a marking on the fuel gauge. Kinda seems like a scam. Make it half a tank so you don't have to overfill it to ensure you don't get scammed.

We were unable to pick up the 26' truck we had reservations for. We were told we could just drive 6 hours round trip to another location to pick up the truck we had reserved in Minot, ND. We were finally able to get a 15' truck in Minot, ND delaying our one way trip a day and a half. This 15' truck was too small, which is obviously why we reserved the 26', so we had to return to Minot, ND to also rent a trailer (2 hour round trip). Delaying our one way trip forced us to travel 18 hours overnight in order to arrive to our destination on time Sunday. Not to mention lost wages and more travel expenses. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. NO EXPLANATION OF THE DELAYS OR TRUCK UNAVAILABILITY WAS OFFERED. THERE WAS NO REMORSE OR EVEN UNDERSTANDING FOR WHAT THE DELAYS MEANT TO THE PAYING CUSTOMER.

We have reserved a car caddy, but got car trailer and were charged $40 more than quote and then added cost of insurance, $70.

I was a little impatient during my drop off so tried following the directions to wait for someone, but after a few minutes I made my way to the service desk area and was promptly greeted by the manager. She was friendly and helpful and had conversation with me about the facility. If it wouldn't have been for the need to track so one down to proces my return I would definitely give 5 stars and an excellent rating.

They block most of their entrances claiming they don't want people driving through their parking lot. They called me at 9am after I had spent the night unloading the uhaul setting up a bed, I did not get to sleep until around 5 am. The lady told me I was supposed to return the uhaul at 7am and they already reserved my truck for another customer. I informed them that I was not aware of having to return the truck so early, that I my reservation told me I had to return the truck that day with no set time. I told her that I still had 3 pieces of large furniture on the truck and I was waiting for a friend to help me get in the house, that I didn't want to force my wife to carry them inside with me. I also informed her that I only had 4 hours of sleep and I did not have a lot of sleep from the previous days, I should not drive right now. She said it does not matter I need to get furniture off and return the truck as soon as I can. I tried to find someone who would help me so early in the morning, after an hour or two my wife and I got the large furniture off the uhaul and went to the gas station to return it. After fueling up and starting the truck, not noticing the wheel was still turned towards to pump area, the truck jumped forward quickly when given a little gas. Before the wheel could be straightened out the truck easily slid onto a cement barrier and raised the driver rear tires off the ground slightly. There was so resistance from the side panel due to previous damage. It happened so quick it was hard to believe. The return location forced me to pay $350 despite having safe move plus insurance coverage. They said it does not cover "reckless driving" and that this was not an accident, as if I wanted to do it. I told them the insurance covers scraping the top off the uhaul at a gas station and asked them why it would not cover my accident caused by them forcing me to drive while low on sleep and exhausted from the move. They just laughed and told me if I did not pay now it will be more expensive later.

You had the equipment all day and made me wait hours due to your mess up. You make the drop off location 25 minutes away from the city I put in the reservation. Thanks for the discount but we ended up losing money because of your untrained staff. Merci.

Clean the cab before renting it out again. There was some kind of stivky drink spilled on the center council, crumbs all over the seat on both sides of the truck. It was disgusting in the cab.

Tonya was not a good person to work with. She was zero help and was rude. Made me call some other number, and the person who answered that call was even worse. I had returned the truck, and received a text 30 minutes later asking if It had been returned. Terrible service. Will not do business with them again.

Better customer service. I reserved a truck to be picked up before hours of operation when I got there there was no keys in the lock box so I had to wait till the store opened. As I standing waiting outside the store the attendant saw me standing their for at least ten minutes and did nothing. At the time the store was supposed to open he stood up and grabbed the keys off the wall walked to the door and opened it. No greating no words at all, I had to ask for the keys. Also no apologies, no nothing just “the guys forgot to put the keys in the box last night”. He then handed me the keys and walked away, nothing else. As the attendant Was walking away “I asked that's it, nothing, not even an apology for being inconvenienced for having to wait.” I only got an apology after I asked for it. Very disappointed. I'd never recommend this location to anyone

First we returned truck the same day and considering the huge mix up: on pickup we are expecting a one-day credit. In two different locations of communication it said we would receive a call Saturday nite--not one call. When we arrived at this location, we were told truck needed to be picked up at different location (9:00). We drove to that location, were told they had no truck for us. A bigger truck would be in at 10:30 and we could have that one. We waited there. Then were told we had to go back to South location to pickup truck!! Very bad communication on U-haul's end!!!

Everyone we have worked with at this location has been so helpful and kind- overall just a pleasure to do business with! If we need anything in the future, we will be coming to this location. The store manager and employees were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. In addition, the facility is very clean, secure, and in general well maintained.

Waited 6 hours outside of the alloted time for the Uboxes to arrive. After all was done, the manager refunded us the first months rent. The Minot office was miserable to work with. Horrible communication between the staff. There is an apparent lack of supervision/leadership. If UHAUL was not the only company providing this type of service in ND I would NOT recommend them. Or atleast this office.

Have the piece I'm renting checked in and ready, have internet and computer working I would suggest a new training idea! Every employee must go to a different state and rent something from U haul and see how they feel they were treated and how the store operated

The staff was very friendly and provided support wherever they could, however, they were not very knowledgeable. I often had specific questions related to my rental and I got very few confident answers in return. I also wanted to adjust my insurance coverage after my reservation was finalized but there was not an option for that. We hadn't started our drive yet so I feel an option for an upgrade or adjustment should be available upon an additional walk around inspection.

The trailer I had chose on the website appeared in the picture to have a wheel chock for a motorcycle, however the one I had picked up did not. In the end I was able to get it to work, but this should be specified in the selection on the website. Especially if it's chosen specifically for that reason and recommended by the website for that purpose. Cheers

After the rental I realized I had needed a dolly went to the north store and they told me that I had to go to the south store that they could not rent me a dolly that did not make any sense to me

The north store was not user friendly as I ended up on north end of town was going to try to dropped it off there was informed that there would be charges applied since it wasn't the contract drop off place....what difference does it make other than I got to play in traffic for three miles to the south store...you could be better user friendly thanks Ray
