A well organized very busy venue. The counter staff were clear in announcing requirements and diligently processed the customers. Support staff assisted in hooking and unhooking the equipment. Lots of variety and quantity of equipment available. A pleasure to use this facility.

JACK OThis location is unorganized and slow. While waiting for a vehicle, a U-HAUL truck hit my personal car and sped off. When I entered U-Haul to inform them they didn't give me any information of the truck driver.

VICTORIA CThis location must be in desperate need for money because I dropped the truck off and left the key in the drop box & they charged me $400 b/c of an alleged cracked windshield that I did not do! I know for a fact I did not leave that truck in that condition it clearly happened overnight in the parking lot. Im so upset
TONE BGreat! It would be nice to know ahead of time that out of state DL is not eligible for 9' van rental. It seems this rule may be franchise-specific But, it worked out for us with the larger vehicle. Merci!

WALTER HThe management team at this location needs better training on identifying out-of-state IDs. My New York State driver's license has a Chicago mailing address, which is completely legitimate, yet the manager insisted it was fake and claimed it was "impossible" to have a Chicago address on a New York license. Beyond that, the staff was inexperienced, unprofessional, and visibly eating and drinking at the front desk. To make matters worse, the internet was down, adding even more tension to an already long and frustrating experience.

KHALEELAH MGhetto, scamers. Customer BEWARE. Store is known to overcharge due to miles. Long wait times to pick up rentals, even a longer time to drop off rental when you return. Poor service. I will not be going back.

Perla L | Premières impressionsTo make sure that the tank is full and not just because the paper says so I went 22 miles yesterday and the paper said that the U-Haul was full but it wasn't so I end up putting $20 in there anyway just to compensate for the gas that I did use so in the near future just check it make sure that it says for and everything will be okay.

THOMAS AI came in during the 1st of the month, which is a busy time. I didn't have a reserved time, but there was a staff member who was able to accommodate me with a short-term rental. I was able to avoid rescheduling my crew for a day.

I never kept any food for there to have been rats. It also seems like someone knew about the situation but failed to inform me about it because there was a rat trap in the back of the unit that was not initially there when I first moved in. I would appreciate if someone can contact me as soon as possible to file a claim. Merci.

regina c | Expérience généraleThis location is old and outdated, they don't honor none of the deals they promote such as, first month free etc. they had a storage container listed that was large enough to hold a one bedroom apt, I got it, and once I got there to use it it was small and could even get my queen size bed inside of it. The employees couldn't do anything to help me, they still charged me the same rate even tho the space wasn't what was prompted. I hired movers that was one a time limit and we wasted almost an hour trying to find my reservation for the storage space.. the workers were ok. But the system is old And outdated, I figure. I'm Never going there again. Once I find another storage I'm getting my belongings out of there and moving around!.. wouldn't refer this place to anyone!! Zero stars!!

All her employees were even looking at her like she was crazy. She wouldn't assist in any way and when I asked her for help, she pulled off and said she's getting off. Her attitude, facial expressions and the way she deals with customers is very disappointing. She legit should NEVER work with people again because she's not a people person. The assistant manager was amazing. He was so helpful and apologetic over the HORRIBLE experience we had with the manager. Fire the girl and hire him because she's BEYOND rude. While she works there I will NEVER recommend anyone do business at the Uhaul on 71st.
