I leave this for the comments, because the staff and facility were top notch. I had rented before , for my Aunt and when we moved out it was with several days on the unit that were already paid for, and they would not pro rate, and give me a refund for what days were paid for and didn't need or use when I closed the account. So this time I used it clear up to the date. I'm sure this is a corporate policy, but one that might be told to people up front.

The rep put almost no effort in the process. He try charging me for insurance that I declined on the webform. When he connected the trailer, he left the chains and the wiring so they were touching the ground. He also said he couldn't find the wiring coupler even though he connected the chains right on top of the wiring. I had to redo the chains and the wiring because he couldn't be bothered to do a decent job of attaching it. He also didn't verify if my taillights were working, nor did he connect the rubber pieces that help make sure the hooks from the chain don't accidentally pop off my hitch. So I had to fix the chains the wiring and validate the taillights were working. I also had to double check he connected it to my hitch correctly because I couldn't trust anything he did.

Was charged $25 in fuel. I went 17 miles even if I didn't refuel saying it was returned at 5/9bof a tank is appalling and the person should be fired. It's fraud and you shouldn't blindly charge people without using common sense.

Matthew ArnsI liked the convenience of being able to get in at later times. The doors to the parking bars were always broken, the main sliding door was left wide open a lot of times. When I went to move my things out, the main sliding door was broken and I had to use the side door. I tried to park as close to the door as possible so I wouldn't have to lift the heavier items too far. The door to my hatch got hit by the side door and the paint is now chipped off. I'm highly irritated that I have to get that fixed because of the inconvenience.

I did return the keys in hand to the supervisor Zach at about 9:20ish,the truck was due back at 9:00am. I did have to go to work so my guys unloaded the truck. Zach did do a walk around and checked the truck in. Zach charged my Amex $79,75 on 12/8/23. Then charged my Amex $66,3 again on 12/11/2023 for an additional insurance, appliance dolly and rental for an entire day. Also the truck I rented had the "check engine light" on. Not a happy customer.

However, I do believe storage tenants should be able to access the unit so long as they know the pin to get in, 24 hours, as some folks such as myself, work thirds, so I am a night owl, and do most of my work through the evening times. During the day about 96 % of that time, I'm sleeping, as I stated, I work thirds. I feel the storage is amazing, however..... The uhaul trucks, and tow dollies, and car ports all need a major upgrade. They're so outdated, and lots of things messed up on them.

William WittThis facility felt more unorganized than most, not knowing which units were leased or not leased. I was assigned one unit when signing the contract, only to find out when we went to visit the unit that it was already occupied, so had to do a different contract for a new unit. They locked out access to our unit for no reason due to internal confusion/communication issues, not sure if we were still using the unit (despite the fact our lock was on it and we were still paying for it) I was sold a combination rotary word lock at their counter and then 2 months later received a call informing me that we can't use it on our unit and needed a keyed lock. When running a storage unit business, the bare minimum should be to know what units are rented and what units are available. It just felt like this was a consistent question/problem for the staff here. Management was very good about making things right with us when there was an issue, so It wasn't a problem, just more of a nagging inconvenience to deal with. We exited our relationship because we no longer had a need to store items in Bloomington. Would have stayed otherwise.

Was initially told that mine was fine to use but when I came back they had placed a lock on it and said that I couldn't have an alphabet lock and I would have to purchase their key lock. I think that the number lock is more secure than a key one. Anyways, seems like it's a way to make extra money when it's not necessary.

Upon calling this problem was resolved and late charges returned. Make sure they have your contact information! They will e mail you with things (like nonpayment) and you can call and get it fixed. Clean, well lit and easy unload and load. Carts are provided. We moved out of state so we won't be back. Definite recommend!

It ruined our pool table, and we have filed a claim. Not sure if we will get estimated value or replace value for the pool table. We have had this unit for about 27 months which means we've spent over $5000 to store our stuff in there. Considering the amount of money we spent to store our stuff in that unit, I am hoping that the claim process will be easy and we will be satisfied with the amount that we receive.

Meghan Moser | Online Move InWhile the halls are normally well lit, there are no lights in the actual units and the light in front of mine was often burned out. The check in process to make sure the alarm does not go off was not ever explained to me by an employee. The first month I set it off several times and had to have an employee shut it off each time. Never during those times did anyone show me how to correctly gain access. Another customer showed me that I had to go to the right kiosk and put my information in then repeat it again at the left kiosk. As for the staff, generally they were friendly and helpful but my very first encounter was when I first got there, after purchasing the unit online, was with a manager. Halfway through checking me in he left the office and jumped into a truck and left. After waiting for 10 or so minutes I realized that I was the only person there. I called the phone and the phone on the counter in front of me rang without anyone coming to get it. Eventually I went behind the counter and poked my head into the office to the right and it was empty, then I went to the door on the right that leads to a garage of sorts. It was also empty. Eventually I left and found a young kid in the parking lot with a uhaul shirt. He told me that he was busy. I told him what had happened, 20 minutes earlier at that point and forcefully told him that I needed to get into my unit and that my truck had to be returned very soon. He did then follow me inside and realized that the manager had left and apologized. Then he took me to the unit, without finishing my paperwork or showing me how to get in. He set of the alarm whilst showing me the unit. Some time later I realized that I had absolutely no paperwork or receipt for the unit so I did have to go to the office again and had to go through all the info, at which point I did finally sign some things and get a copy. I also repeatedly told them that my name is Lara Ward. As you can see by my receipt that they still have my name as "Laura". So all in all not a terrible experience, but not professional. My stuff stayed dry and clean, but the price was on the high end. Also sanitizer would be good to provide near the doors to the units, not just the office.
