The Uhaul that I was given did not have spare keys. Of all the Uhauls they had, they gave us the only one that did not have a spare key. I turned in the Uhaul before it was due and they still charged me a late fee!! When I picked up, no one explained to me that I needed to check out online and they refused to refund the late fee.

Have someone working in the Office at ALL TIMES !! I have to wait 30 minutes after returning the Truck because nobody was in the office, I even had to call get someone to come check me out !! I Almost Just Left !!!! I feel that they are Under Staff !!!!!!

A disgusting experience: original pickup - Island Ave, San Diego was changed 24 hrs. prior by U-Haul to National City, CA. On arrival there no equipment available and were re-directed Spring Valley, CA. On arrival there no 15ft Truck as ordered & confirmed was available. Wasted some extra 3 hours because of U-Haul cluster Fuck-up. Never again

Everything went smooth. From start to finish. The counter girl couldnt have been more efficient, proffesional, helpful than she was that day. Before i knew it i was driving off in the moving truck. Please note this is my first time renting a storage unit so I have nothing to compare with. Upon my arrival I waited for approximately 10 minutes for service. Uhaul did not have the size I needed.

It was a very unorganized. They were understaffed & the wait was long. There was not enough space to move the U-haul truck to unload and it was challenging to move with limited space in the vicinity.

Count and verify amount of furniture pads prior to leaving facility; ours were in a bag, we didn't count them, and when we returned them all (folded) we were told we were short three, but did not have any in our possession. We had to pay for the missing ones.

My only comment is tht this ws my first experience with a 26' truck and it was a little hard getting used to making turns without cuting the corners. After the first two times I had to remind myself and it was satisfactory. The unit was supper clean and well maintained.

after moving from the storage to my new house. taking thekey from the truck eventually the battery died. we had to call the 800 number to get someone out to jump the truck. but the truck had stopped in the middle of the street so i had to have all of the neighborhood kids try to help me push that big ass truck out of the street. once i got it back they only took 10 dollarsd off i thought that was mean.

Charged for fake cleaning charge of $25 after using it for moving 2 couches. I did not leave one speck in there. Told her I didn't clean it because there was nothing to clean. I inspected it myself. I'm not sure who it was I spoke to but my receipt has "Blanca Olivarez" on it so I assume it was her I spoke to from La Mesa CA. The location I rented from was fine and the guys that helped me did a good job. It was the phone call I received explaining the charges to me that I have a complaint about. If this is Uhaul's way of getting a little extra from their customers then there is no way I'm recommending them. I have now read several complaints online and this Cleaning fee was on some of them.

I'm very disappointed in the $.99 per mile extra charge. After picking up the new furniture, my total bill was nearly the same as if I had had the furniture delivered my professionals. Next time I will use the professionals and not U-Haul.

After reserving an appliance dolly over 3 weeks in advance and calling twice to advice them of the date an time I would be picking up the equipment, the dolly was not there, and I was force to drive around to a different location for one a huge inconvinience on moving day.

The CS lady was so rude. When we returned the truck...higher then the gas level was at when we rented it, she asked us how much $ we put in of gas. My husband told her $8.50. She told him that he should of put at least $10.00 in there. What difference does it make how much we put in there as long as the gas level is where it was supposed to be? She sat there and argued with my husband about how people do not fill it up correctly. You really need to talk to her about that. We turned it in at a higher level then it was when we rented the truck. We will never go to that location again.

Blanca needs to learn how to use a computer. Four months in a row she didn't properly enter the credit card info and Contacted me to give her a good credit card for the monthly payment. I checked with the bank each time and she had entered the information incorrectly. She was rude and very confrontational about her mistake. So much so that I had to take cash to her location to pay her, when all she needed to do was enter the information correctly. S

Make sure you put gas in the truck and get a receipt. I got the truck on full, used it for an hour and it was still on Full. Nope they wouldn't accept that. so they want to see you spend money before they credit you back.
