On Father's Day I was forced to move some furniture from one home to another, I quickly checked online to verify which locations near me had available trucks. The closest location was Nob hill, when I arrived there was an employee assisting guest and she screamed “we have no more trucks available” without a hello or a warm welcome, I could expect this from someone young and without experience but the lady was older grey hair and with more experience than that kind of terrible customer service. I responded by saying online there showed availability and asked how could I find out, the rude employee said call 1800 u haul and find out yourself. I did so and reserved the vehicle which was available unlike what the employee stated. I made my reservation over the phone and walked back inside the store to see the rude associate outside hanging out smoking a cigarette. Seemed like she didn't want to attend me by lying about truck availability. I told her the information she gave me was incorrect and instead of apologizing and clearing the air she ignored me completely and did not even look me in the face while I was speaking to her. She was point blank rude and unprofessional and needs customer service training I'm thankful for the gentleman that did attend me and did a fantastic job with a great attitude, your company herds more of him and to get rid of the rotten apples. My drop off experience was smooth the young lady was helpful and kind.

please send a $20 Convenience Fee to my account for doing this survey as Uhaul asks for helping with further services. LOL smile anyway Funny!!! You get my hint ... Uhaul charging a convenience fee for wanting a further printout at the location after you input online is a little absurd actually any "convenience fee" is absurd after you pay for all the other fees ... smile anyway don't forget my $20 fee for doing this survey :)

Made me wait for 2 hours before i could get into the truck because “the key got stuck inside” they kept saying “hes 10 minutes away” and then when i finally left and started packing my furniture they called and said they gave me the wrong truck and i would have to swap it. I will bever return to this location they were very irresponsible and immature

The gas tank was almost empty, and to make matters worst, when I returned the truck I was charged $50+ for gas, when I received the truck gas tank empty, not good!

I originally made my reservation online for Saturday June 4th. Due to bad weather in our area, 2 days before our scheduled time, I changed my reservation to Sunday June 5th at 8am so I elected to do truck share. When I got to Uhaul, my truck was not ready because the location forgot to put the key in the lockbox. I had to wait until the store opened putting my move back over an hour. Once I did get my truck, and we opened the back, the equipment I ordered wasn't in the truck. Luckily I only needed it for a short period of time and my cost was low.

being that I made the appointment on line first, I was in and out in 10 minutes picking up the trailer. I have used this location before and would recommend it to anyone needing moving trucks or trailers

The mileage on truck when picked up was wrong along with gas mielage told inside office also took pitvure of it tried to do online was having trouble but again did take pictures when truck was returne had alot more gas in it truck kept stalling six time before we got to out locate sure it had fuel pump issues

Natashia Govan charged us $12 for fuel when we had fuel the truck to the same level that was at departure. Also, the attendant DID NOT go outside with me to inspect the vehicle when we returned and we had rent uhaul many times before and other locations always inspect the vehicle when we return. If there were any discrepancies, it could had been addressed there before doing an wrongful charge.

Did not have the truck i had reserved a week and half in advance. Was given a smaller truck at the same price? Had to make two trips with the smaller truck, resulting in additional mileage charges. Only had one hand truck, reserved two. Last time i use U-haul.

Please get rid of the front desk lady. Have the worse attitude at any customers she came across or un willing to help. The only saving grace for this location is the other worker. You need more people here so you can turn this place around by getting rid of that toxic front desk.

The location was fine. The problem that I had was I originally scheduled pick up and drop off at two separate locations. When I went to pick up the truck at the loactaion I rented from they didn't have the truck. Therefore I was forced to choose a Diderot lo again further from where I was moving that required the same location for drop off. This resulted in 59 extra miles being driven which in turn I had to pay for. That is not right at all. Also I reserved a dolly. That wasn't available. This is a moving truck how could a dolly nut be available. Overall I am very disappointed

The Corporation should update the rental software so that a customer can only rent a uhaul vehicle when it is actually at the facility and available. Previous customer was not actually planning on returning it at the time they said they would and only did so when the office staff called them. I had to wait 1 hour past my reservation time to get the uhaul I needed. Staff said that happens all the time. It is not fair to make a customer wait for their reserved vehicle. I should have received a discount for having to wait so long, but did not.

I have not rented in a while from this location, I noticed trucks are finally being cleaned. Maintenance I don't know. My breaks were supper low and dangerous. I also noticed the chair on the driver's side was extra low.

Thanks to uhual, i experienced the worst day of my career life. I'm a small business florist and depend on U-Hauls when I need to transport large items. I booked my U-Haul rental 5 days in advance to avoid any stress or uncertainty for my rental. I arrive to my location and do the mobile pick up option (which i always do). I get to the point where I need to pick up my keys and the front desk tells me there's no U-Haul for me. There was nothing they could offer me at all. I called all the U-Hauls in my area and no one had anything. Again, I'm a small business florist and there was no way i would be able to transport my large items without a uhual. I was about to make a happy - almost - married couple very upset thanks to uhual. How could i make a reservation but in reality there is no uhual for me to pick up? I have never experienced so much anxiety in my life. I deserve my Money back.

Was sold a storage unit that was already full of someone else's stuff. Rented a haul paid for movers to help and showed up with a full truck to have the staff tell me they didn't have any available units of my size which I booked and paid for in advance. Horrible horrible business and they left me high and dry

When I first rented the Unit, the fron gate had been broken and left permanently open for several days, and for at least a few weeks after my first visit. Upon starting my contract, I was told that I couldn't either apply my Military discount or my own insurance because it was "too late" because she had already started the application. I would have to wait until the following month and contact customer service and ask them for assistance. About 3 months into the rental, the climate control in the unit broke and the temperature raised up to 95+ degrees. The staff on location did nothing to explain or address the issue or to offer any compensation for the lack of AC and potential damage to personal property. When I called the main customer service number to address the issue, no one offered help and was directed to the location. Calls to the location were never answered and a message from Rep the main number was never returned. All in all, this facility is crap and would never rent anything from there again.

Excuse my utmost satisfaction, using my global research studies, I was just 'passing time' in my casual conversation with staff members when we agreed U- haul going international, with gradual limits/ restrictions based on trust, can ideally make poor countries build on the education fundamentals of its citizens, and give them a place to store much needed equipment to build! My experience at U-haul was 'far out'.

I had this storage almost 4 years and as it turns out they did not mantein it clean every time I just to go to storage there where all kinds of bugs and it damage a lot of my property my TV 55 inch was in a box and it was full of roaches inside the TV had to discard and other items like electronics etc. Never again

Put wrong location made me wait every time I was there manager very mean to called me a drunk but I try a truck there have units there not by default of hers hope someone drone u haul gets back to me not the manager also I have no idea y the comet is in Spanish but far for the cause this location need a nee manager for customer to feel good where the rent from and keep there belongings. I first got wrong 10x20then she lies to said 10X10are all rented another lie I have one now . The 10x20i had I moved out a small door a key for door that took me over hour to get because they forgot and so ok'd no light I ask Ed they to bad will not worked is one reason the shut it down or fix it . Bad management shows I had 2 units but only wanted one . When have bad manager u get bad service . If I had a choice I move out because of her and lady she trained who really care less . That's the bad news but good news resently I changed unit to what I wanted and very nice man help me could not be any nicer Kenneth helped in every way what a different. Ms. Phylis Mcclarin has no patience, She was talking to other people while talking to me and when i ask her if you please could finish with me and then take other cllients, she started yelling stating that she is the only one there and that the way she works, that i can go somewhere else or do it online, , this was the worst experience ive ever had in my life, i never do reviews, but all clients were complaining about her, she is not a cuatomer service people, i told her that is better to take 1 client at the time, and she said NO, she does work like that, after that she was treating me bad, and when i ask her if i can insert my card, she said: do you see the screen asking you to insert your card? With an attitude super bad, she feels miserable in her position thats why she treats clients like that, if she continues like that you guys gonna lose all your clients.

The unit I rented has a gate that is very hard to lift, and the safety pin for the lock is close to imposible to locked. Basically my wife was there for 2 hours just trying to lock the unit

Process is too complicated. One attendant did not fully understand process and passed on to another....She was helpful but did not know exactly where the space was located in the lot but did assist in finding it and expressed understanding that moves are stressful which I appreciated.

We rented a 10x20 warehouse at the facility in Sunrise. Based on our renting of truck the warehouse was supposed to be free for the first month. when we were there no warehouse available 10x20 and no reservation. We also paid the insurance. Very poor communication Giovanni Arnaboldi

My storage was reserved and given away to someone else before I arrived I was sent to multiple locations in search of a unit. I was forced to use the biggest most expensive unit because after uhual inconvenienced me they had me pay two times what I would've if the unit I originally reserved had been ready and available to me as I was told when confirming my reservation and order. Poor customer service, poor communication, bad experience. I would not refer anyone to uhual.

First the person in charge told me to leave because another customer on line was trying to have my place. Sscond he told me that my reservation wasn't on the computer Third he told me that the space i reserved and paid wasn't available anymore. After that i left telling that I was calling my lawyer. After that the clark went outside and he told me that he found my space. Horrible experience and attitude

We paid for a unit on Friday and when we needed it on Saturday they had freshly paved around the units and couldn't be driven on. We spoke to a representative in person who guaranteed access on Sunday. When we called to see about unloading into our unit on Sunday morning they said it was still not available. This inconvenience was never communicated with me and caused serious problems as we had people lined up to help with the move on Saturday. We had to park the trailer overnight Saturday and when we tried to access our paid unit on Sunday it was still "not available". We requested a refund and the representative advised up to 10 business days to process which I feel is unacceptable. We were so upset that we found another company to do business with for a more reasonable rate. We were very unsatisfied with our experience with the location at 4747 N Nob Hill. Side note the representative did allow us to use one of the Utility Dolly's for the 2 days free of charge and for that we were thankful.

Rohail and Maureen was simply the nicest most helpful employees there. They assisted us with any concerns we had throughout our time renting. They both were professional and made everything a smooth process .. great attitudes and hard working with positive attitudes ty U-Haul for making our experience a great one !! 10 stars :)

The unit door was old and hard to open. Then it only went up half way. When office was told about it the woman so..oh, they just need a little greasing. I asked her to please do it before my next visit and received no response.

The facility was nasty. There were people hanging out working on their cars and conducting business. I couldn't drive the uhaul down the lanes to get to my unit. I got stuck trying to turn a corner because the truck was big and the lanes were narrow. I cancelled the unit and went to another facility. Extremely disappointed.

I gave a below average score for the facility itself. The door was hard to open and was stuck shut at one point. The unit leaked water whenever it rained. My couches had water stains but not too bad. They need to fix that unit before renting to anyone else.

Unit was dirty. Severe potholes in front of my unit and I have items on wheels that need to go through it making it extremely difficult. Unfortunately this is the only unit available.

There was only one time Out of all the times I went in there was water leak in the ceiling in the front office, other than that the place was cleaned and well kept up with. Staff was always friendly, sometimes the wait time was a bit long but by them being friendly the wait was ok.

I will never ever ever use this facility ever. I don't like to complain, I am usually very understanding, but, wow the service was terrible, they left the poor guy by himself at the counter with a line of people, when the manager stopped by, she started that she is not working, she is off.

Hard to move out online, especially when you are far away from the storage. The current policy is to go into the office move out. If you can rent car contact less one should able to do so with a storage unit.

It is a VERY OLD facility and it is evident that the pathways in the interior facility was designed 50+ years ago. If it weren't for the location and very helpful staff, I'd store my belongings elsewhere.
