Driving the truck was horrible. I have driven many trucks and this one was the worst! It keep making a weird noise when hitting the gas and almost like the gear was slipping out of place. The oil life was ZERO % and it's kept giving me a warning to “CHECK ALL AIRBAGS” I really honestly will NEVER use uhaul again. Way to pricey and I guarantee I won't get any money back for the experience I when through. I paid close too 100$ and I'll see 0$ back from this HORRIBLE experience!!! NEVER USING UHAUL AGAIN! Also when I dropped it off I tried to be nice and park it back in the tight space so no one had to move it again. The guy who was apparently working when I return it walked up to my door knocked on the window and said “you need to park it over there…. With the other one” in a real snarky attitude. I don't mind being asked to do something but I've never rented from this location before so I thought i was being nice. Sorry for inconveniencing you. I didn't know I had to make sure YOUR experience was good. I normally don't leave reviews or complain but again this was not a good experience I had with uhaul and I'm happy to say it was the last. So much for the money. Should've went through Home Depot or lowes. SMH.

The easy to order the truck and picked it up right on time. Was easy to complete the transaction.

Thoroughly check the wheels, brakes and bearings prior to allowing equipment on the road. Our 12x6 trailer caught fire at the wheel on driver side. Fortunately M&M auto sales and service (amazingly a uhaul location) was at the exit as my wife, who was driving behind me, called letting me know the tire was on fire. I pulled off the exit ramp as a tire exploded. As we pulled into the M&M, the folks came out and assisted as we had to throw water on the tires and wheels. The second tire exploded. We managed to get the fire out. Then had to swap out a fully loaded 12X6 to another before continuing to drive.

Not the manager but the Friday we were supposed to pick up the van the young lady who first answered the phone was rude . Secondly the person who scheduled the pickup did not follow directions as it relates to the amount of days the equipment was needed.

Inspect the tires better, half bald front tire probably left over from what history that truck has . But I have to wait to get a new tire and delay my trip and then return the truck 5 hours late and have almost a 100$ in charges for the truck and trailer..... I'm late because I had to delay leaving to get a tire with tread on it

I had rented a car dolly, got the car loaded at 6. It had a flat tire. Waited till 8:45 for them to get there to change the tire. Finally done at 9:30. Finally back on the road. He had to come from Winston to Thomasville. Finally back on the road at 9:30 Y'all need more services.

Overcharged for wore out equipment. Would not rent me what I wanted but rented something that was not recommended. If I wasn't in a bind I would never use overpriced U-Haul again.

The truck I used was great. It took 4 1/2 days to go 15 hours just because of my wife's car breaking down 1 flat and the. A wheel bearing going out. The guys at uhaul was great to work with and they were $400 less then the next guy.

Trailer was fine with the exception of it had a small leak in the front and the door weatherstripping was worn away.

Everything was great! Manager has a great staff under her guidance things have really improved! The manager's son who also works at this location was so nice and upon locking up the storage automatic doors made sure to give me time to get my bigger items through first. Very personable young man with great customer service skills! I really appreciate the convenience of renting vehicles and storage! Merci!

The trucked smelled like cigarettes. You charged me for gas after my return. That's extremely petty and ridiculous because I had the needle at the exact same spot on the gas tank before I gave it back. Y'all are bitching about ounces of gas?! You're uhaul. Fuck you all.

The only issue I had was my reserved storage unit was rented out by the automated system, but the staff quickly offered me an acceptable compromise. I did return the truck two days early and found out I couldn't get credit for those two days because it was a one way rental. I am not exactly happy about that, because we rented the truck four extra days due to my disability, but was able to get done early. No mention was made at time of rental or I would definitely have not prepaid but waited to see if I needed it as the move proceeded in real time. U-Haul took advantage of my need of a flexible time frame and has caused me to look at the company less favorably. I do however want to give credit where credit is due.. the equipment is first rate and attention to ease of use is commendable. Facilities and options available for storage are incredible compared to standard self storage across the market. Security well exceeds need and is priced affordably for the average consumer. Overall I am impressed with where U-Haul has gotten to, I am just disappointed with being taken advantage of regarding prepaid days. Sincerely, T. Tyner

Don't charge me for two days after I call you and tell you I'm stuck in the mud mile away AND YOU SAY NO PROBLEM!!! I was only about an hour late and I used exactly 25 miles and I returned it really clean except for the mud on the back tires… I will never wash a car or truck on a hill- no matter how small ever again! Overall it was a stressful situation. I did eventually get a little of my money back from the manager, but the two guys that I turned the truck in to and talked to told me everything was fine, I might have to pay for a gallon of gas but that's it.

When I started the truck, the oil change required light was on. It was explained to me that the truck's oil change had taken place. When I went to refuel the truck, I did leave to enter the store while pumping gas. When I got back, I had pumped $37 dollars....the issue was that I didn't use over 1/4 of gas the entire day. I was told that I couldn't be reimbursed, but the issue is/was that the fuel gauge read full before I left the Uhaul parking lot. So was the truck really full of fuel or was the fuel gauge broken? No worries, but that was the only issue I had with my service that day.

Make sure the truck is available at the reserved pick up time. Also, make sure that the truck is in good condition, not leaking water into the box area.

I was able to get the appliance dolly I paid for, so I had to haul it in by hand and shear tact. Had back pain afterwards but at least I got it in my house without damages. Just hope the charge wasn't made for it. I can't get a breakdown of what was charged. But good service after I returned.

Not only did the U-Haul Rep tell our employee they didn't need to get the receipt from him because he was going to email the receipt. He also DID NOT email the receipt. So now we have no receipt for our transaction and it happens quite often. Not acceptable!

I feel like there should at least be one sliding door unlocked after certain hours. But that's all I have to complain about. The staff that was scheduled 2/5/22 around 1pm were the MOST helpful and I definitely appreciate all of the work that was done! The staff were so friendly, well mannered and on point with everything!

Didn't give me the dolly I reserved, didn't do a proper towing light check thus giving me a truck that had no brake lights nor turn signals to the car hauler. Also chains to hauler not secured properly one came off during move and was not able to be hooked back up

I believe the truck I rented had a faulty odometer. I verified the mileage before I left the facility and it was correct. I made two round trips to the same location and the final mileage was still over 20 miles over what it should have been.

U Haul Storage is absolutely the best storage facility I've ever used. Climate Control. Very Clean And the Staff treat you like you are family. If you ever want to find a Storage Facility. Average overall experience due to instances were it was difficult to reach facility by phone, staff were curt on phone and did not give caller time to discuss a situation regarding inaccurate information given by staff unfamiliar with checkout procedures. Regular staff member did remedy the situation; however, phone etiquette is lacking.

Person who attached trailer to my pick up truck would not allow me to help him and he let the trailer hit the back of my truck on the tailgate putting a nice size dent. Then when we try to open the gate on the trailer the chains that allow the gate to go all the way to the ground work tightened on so tight I had to go and borrow tools just to be able to open the gate up. Was pretty disappointed this time

I noticed roaches at the entrance of the storage but luckily none near my items. I did notice a couple of spiders in my boxes but nothing too upsetting. The staff is amazing overall especially the lady that comes in the evening around 4:30pm and stays to closing, who's short and ethnic. She's so helpful and I just wish I knew her name.

We were told a 10 ft unit would be larger enough, that would hold belongings out of a 15ft uhaul truck. Was not had to rent another unit.

Im getting messaged about uhaul trying to charge my card without speaking me & I didn't get a call about it. I want it to stop for u be reported to bbb n whoever I can tell to get this store a bad review. I don't take to kindly for someone trying to charge my card for my 5 kids during covid unauthorized period. I got a promisary note n I got my things out of storage on the exact last day. So this uhaul place in Lexington nc better stop playing with me and they disrespected my mother when she was inquiring about my debt a woman of christ a cancer survivor and a lupus patient. Stope charging my card period

My unit was in temperature controlled area. Area was comfortably cool, with good lighting, and I felt safe. New lock was waiting in unit for my use. Carts were readily available for loading and unloading. Loading dock area had ample space for parking and height of dock was good for moving boxes from rear of SUV to cart.

I've rented from u haul before this in the past , never had such a bad experience as I had this time. Moved long distance, I was advised that a 15ft truck would be big enough for a 2 bedroom house, wow were they wrong, I had to give up 10 pieces of furniture. And was advised that a 10 by 10 storage unit would be big enough for storage, also not so. Had to get another unit. Do the math, you can not put 15feet truck into a 10 ft garage. I am very disappointed and unsatisfied with this and had a very bad experience. I never use u haul or I will not recommend u haul to anyone. I believe that I should be compensated for this, the loose of furniture and money.

Nothing wrong with the property. I needed a larger unit (5×15) and found a company that offered me that at the same rental price that I was paying at Uhaul for a 5x5. Only complain I have is I rented at Uhaul about two months ago and then received notice that my rent was going up. I understand that the manager has no control over rental prices going up but when you are on a fixed income like me you have to go to some place cheaper.

Everyone working there were very friendly and helpful at ALL times over the past 2 1/2 years. I have used other U-Haul's storage facilities, and none compare to this operation. I'm very pleased with my experience so far with U-Haul storage facilities. The door locking system is a bit tricky. It's just a keypad, but truth be told electronics intimidate and confuse me a bit. I've had to go to the manager a couple times for my own mistakes with the door lock. I will probably end up calling again. Thank God, they are so friendly and patient - even after hours. Overall, I would recommend and will probably continue using. Merci.

Sorry I would give it more but when I was moving my stuff out of storage. I found some water has got under my door, The door that doesn't roll down, but has a gap at the bottom. I guess from mopping or waxing the floor. I had some wood furniture by the door and when I went to go move it was stuck to the floor and some finishing came off an cracked the wood. So I was not happy!

I was not clear on entering my code on the keypad outside the building due to the door automatically opening when I walked up. When I opened the unit of course and alarm sounded. I went inside to the desk where a young man did offer assistance. He gave me a keycard which still does not work and every time I go over to get something out or put other objects in the alarm sounds.
