The General Manager, Jesse Rollo was extremely nice and helpful. The entire experience was so easy and fast. Painless and everything was explained well. We were in and out of there in about 10 minutes. Definitely would recommend UHaul to anyone in Traverse City. Thank you.

Having wrong marketing material up in the store is confusing. I rented based on a 64,95 price but then found I was paying 20 dollars more. At that point I was stuck pretty much. It was a Sunday at 3 o'clock, I wasn't searching for an alternative. V

I would prefer to have the floor of the storage unit itself to be sealed like the hallways are. Concrete powder gets all over anything that touches the floor.

Excellent service. Someone was right there as I pulled and told me where to park the trailer. I didn't even need to go inside. They took care of it all! Definitely rent again when needed.

Everything was great. They made sure the ball on my hitch was extra tight, since I just bought it. Very helpful and pleasant to do business with.

Vehicle I drove has a cracked exhaust manifold and mad a lot of noise for 5 minute and made the cap smell of exhaust. Right side mirror is rusted/froze in position and will not move rendering it useless and hazardous.

This U-haul facility is run with customer service you don't see much anymore. Besides being neat, tidy, and clean inside, the grounds are maintained, equipment is clean and lined up like a car show, and it all shows pride in the workplace. I received three calls during our rental at times when someone noticed something amiss (or potentially amiss). Highly recommend them for storage and for truck/trailer rental. Merci!

The number of miles automatically allocated to the rental was insufficient by more than half the actual distance. The rep was able to adjust that but if I had done the pickup without assistance I would have been stuck (I think) with more than 45 miles additional charged to me. That needs to be looked at.

This is a good option to avoid driving a U-haul across the country. The whole process went smoothly and everything showed up just the way I packed it. Only recommendation is to add more securing hooks inside the boxes.

I had a terrible experience from the beginning. Firstly, the pod brought to the first location was the wrong one. Not my pod. Second, U-Haul cancelled my order for no good reason. And I had to work with customer support to get my order set up again. Thirdly, my pod arrived at my final destination late. It was difficult to contact the main location in Traverse City. They need more help with an answering phones. There's usually only one person for the entire office. Just a horrible experience moving across state lines. This is what U-Haul does every day, and they failed miserably. I will not be recommending U-Haul to anyone.

Could not get keys to truck until store opened at 9 because lock would not open. Lot not plowed took 20 minutes for employee to dig out truck. Then there were no furniture covers.

Had to rent the trailer all day only used it for about 2 hours. Should have an Hourly or even a half day rate.

Get all wheel drive trucks and not rear wheel. At two intersections I had to back up out of because my back tires were spinning.

Had a great experience with u-haul at the US 31 location in TC! You guys were very quick at getting me checked in and helping me start my move on time. The 15' truck I rented was in great shape and clean. The pads were a nice bonus, thank you.

The truck that we used had rear wheel drive and we had a very difficult time getting it up a hill . We had to try 9 times and spread a lot of ice melt in order for the truck to make the incline.

This is by far the best U-Haul in northern Michigan. Jesse does a really great job managing and maintaining this location. The other workers are just as motivated as their manager and are very helpful and kind. Definitely 10 outta 10

Access was hampered in that the door to my storage unit didn't work properly and it made access to my stored objects impossible to access. This has been a consistent problem. The door does not work properly and it is getting to hard for me to deal with. The rent has doubled and I'm living on social security and has gotten to high for me to afford.

Clean and very professional. No dirt or trash anywhere, even in the big parking lot. Everything was tidy, orderly, and easy. They didn't have a the unit we reserved, but the replacement worked well and was probably better than we'd have had originally. Pleasure working with people who obviously take pride in their business.

Great facilities. Only complaint I had was the trench that was cut across the parking lot was a big bump hauling a trailer or driving a truck across, but that is fixed now since they repaved the whole parking lot. So now I have no complaints whatsoever. Great facilities and people running it.

The move-in experience was great! The facility is well constructed, has access to upper floors with a very efficient elevator. Carts were plentiful and compete convenient. The staff was very helpful and efficient.

The gentleman working was very polite. Informed me that I would have a free month of rent that I didnt know about. Gave me a tour of where my storage unit was at. Also I formed me which key code access device's worked or didn't work as well as which garage door, of the 3 that worked. I guess some work shoukd be done to have all key codes working as well as garage door...that customers keep hitting.

What a great storage system I have a small cleaning business and I normally keep all my stuff stored in my vehicle but with a winter time it’s rough on the equipment and my supplies I’m able to store myself not overcrowd my car it’s affordable and so convenient not to mention the most cleanest I’ve seen Yet

The biggest issue is at the office. There were times where you stop in and have to wait for assistance because no one was at the service counter. That can be an inconvenience when your in a hurry and just need to drop something off like my gate cards after I moved out. Otherwise everything was great.

Only issue I had moving in was my own fault. I got there kind of late due to having to work and trick or treating with my daughter and when I left to check out it was after 10 and I had an issue of trying to check out. It wouldnt allow me to. But other than that I loved how you could utilize the carts and the parking spaces inside so you can load and unload in the heat and out of the cold. It was absolutely great and convenient and the pricing is cheaper than any other storage unit I was in and when I called around for quotes.i highly recommend U-Haul on Us 31 l

Beautiful and brand new with plenty of flatbeds to use. Pulling your car in out of the weather is HUGE in northern Michigan especially in cold rain! Staff was friendly and ready to help with anything! Fortement recommandé!

I rated it low because all 3 employees were woahfully under trained. It took FOUR visits to finally be checked in... after having the space checked out instead of checked in, almost lost it because it was open for rent again & then have a lock put on it even though I had a free month. Do not open for business unless they are given good training. Otherwise they are clueless & customers get frustrated
