carlos R.The vehicle I reserved was not available, but I wasn't notified until I arrived. My need for a pickup was based on the shape and size of items to be moved. Thus, a van. 10ft or 16ft wouldnt work. I ended up with a 20' truck that was much more cumbersome that necessary. At least I received a discounted mileage fee. For that I am grateful.

Cotty E.The specific truck I rented was poorly mechanically maintained, it was too loud and the worst worst worst , I mean the most worst thing about that truck leaks heat inside the cabin, it felt like 120°F the entire 190 miles I drove, due to excessive heat in the cabin I had migraine and given that the truck it so loud, it made my headache even worse. Regardless of turning the AC on or not, it was still too hot. The cover that supposed to provide shield from hot and loud engine was not secure properly. I hope they would never rent someone else such poorly maintained truck. Also the truck had no gas in it, about one block from the location I rented from, the message on the dashboard said 0 zero mileage to empty, and the truck started driving slow indicating that it's about to run out of gas. In opinion, Regardless of how low the customers returns the truck, it is Uhaul responsibility to assure that the truck has enough fuel to bring the current customer to the gas station. The cost of that truck came to total of $427 and change for an equipment that is poorly maintained. I noted the truck ID to assure next time I am not given such terrible equipment. If the heat issue cannot be fixed, that truck and other equipment with similar issues should be decommissioned during summer when temperatures are high, because stroke due to high temperatures is possible while driving. Uhaul please maintain your equipment properly before renting them to your customers, people alot money for these equipment.

The gentle was extremely nice and assured it would be deleted as soon as we where done with the reservation. You guy should have a scanner to do that so the customer doesn't have to worry about my ID being used for fraud….everything else was good

Tracy P.Needs to be a better system in place when picking up the Uhaul truck. I received a call on Friday, Feb. 3rd to pick up the truck at (Motel 6), 2995 Brunswick Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ. When I arrive at this location the truck was not available and the lobby receptionist was not very helpful at all. Once I called Uhaul customer service, I was told to go to another location that can accommodate me. This whole situation was an inconvenience and needs to be better coordinate with the customer. I was set back 1 hour because of this and my customer was not happy with my late arrival. Please do better in the future.

DANIEL M.The agent that checked me out wasn't knowledgeable or helpful very rude and dismissive. Also the truck she gave me has transmission issues and was a death trap waiting to happen. The roll down window was next to broken and I had to ask someone to roll it back up because the window was failing. Also when I had my foot on the brake and then put the truck in park the truck jerked forward and the brakes need to be done. I let the attendant know when I brought the truck back and he said he would let someone know. Also I asked about my bill breakdown and he said he didn't know he just worked there 樂

Veronica H.The truck was clean. The 1st truck had alot of superficial damage and the rep had to come out and tag all the damage. When I got into the truck to drive away I noticed the driver's side mirror was broken beyond use. Conserving I was going one way from NJ to RI this was unacceptable. Question is why is that truck even available for rent to begin with? Second truck was in much better shape. Only issue was passenger side mirror would not stay in place. Also when you braked the front end of the truck rattled like it was coming apart, especially when it was loaded. Other than that the truck drove fine and met my needs. Who'd definitely rent from U-Haul again.

I purposely drive into Trenton as there is always a hood selection, the process is easy, and the place is clean & organized. Even when I was very late once to pick up a rental and missed it, Mr. Moreno, the manager, sourced a Van at another dealer and gave me a ride to the other UHaul vender. That is service!

I do not understand how my reservation online wasn't upheld, as if uhaul doesn't guarantee reservation pricing, why have a reservation system at all?

I have pictures or all my stuff. I wasn't pleased with at all. Even though the unit was outside they should've done something about this to ensure my stuff was protected. Especially since I paid insurance every month.
