I didn't have any problems with the facility. My issue was with the mobile check in and out website. One of the employees inside was able to help me check in and I was very grateful

Dealing with the equipment and roadsides assistance was a great hassle however Samantha at the Trotwood location made it all better during checkout. She understood my issues and helped out to her fullest extent.

Seeking to do as much as possible prior to truck pickup & start of the moving experience & because "Online Check-In" was a requirement; I was unable to complete the check-in because I could not check the box that I had read & understood the contents of 2 different manuals on truck operation. I was unable to load either manual to read & understand the contents. The agent at the pickup station was not able to tell me how to access these manuals prior to pickup.

Yvonne K.My name had been entered into system incorrectly. Everytime I went in to pay it took 15 to 20 min just to find my account. Twice I was double charged a late fee and was told sorry that's just how the system calculates. I feel that this was the poorest choice I could have made for storage. I would have been better off hiding my stuff in an abandoned basement.

Jose G.During my trip the right windshield wiper blade flew off while on the highway and nearly hit my wife's car who was trailing me. In addition, the left windshield wiper would not work at all. This could've been a dangerous situation as it had snowed the night before and the roads were kicking up salt on the windshield. I did not have any problem with the facility, but the equipment was suspect.

douglas H.I live in Dayton ohio and we had snow on the ground they gave us a truck the traction didn't work and tires were bald we had to pay a tow truck to come pull us out of a parking lot two times this really cost us i will never rent here again they charged us 74 dollars for three hrs and the tow truck driver charged us 100 horrible day.

I spoke with over 10 people in regards to my situation and they still railroaded me with fees that weren't valid because they can do what they choose. I will continue to share my experience with anyone who asks just to make sure they steer clear of this facility and the crappy operating system. Beyond inconvenient and then they hold you accountable. I'm glad I'll never deal with these people again!! Good riddance!!

RODNEY S.Very clean facilities. The only complaint is the lack of lighting and motion sensors in our area. The nearest sensor was not pointed out by staff upon the initial inspection of our unit but we figured it out later. I would have assumed motion sensors would be on each main aisle to turn on lights as you walk towards back of the facility. I am very impressed with your facility and staff and love that you have repurposed a business for Trotwood. Great job!

Michael L. | Expérience généraleUsed both truck, and storage. Truck was not well maintained. Headlight was out - not just burnt out - not there at all! Storage facility appeared clean, but other customers were overheard complaining about damage... I stored my belongings for 8 weeks during a military transition. Upon removing my possessions discovered a lot of rodent damage - my washer and dryer had had wiring chewed, couch contained rodent nest (these being the most expensive items destroyed). Was horrified and dismayed to learn that the insurance package did not cover rodent damage!! So, using this facility cost me 2 800 $in loss not including the high rental rate. Will NEVER use uhaul storage again.

This location however, did not call me to tell me my boxes we not going to be delivered on the day they were originally scheduled. I ended up having to turn away movers and had financial repercussions from that. I also had to take additional time off from work because of this. The following day when they were to be delivered, the service center couldn't tell me what time they were going to be there even after the driver was an hour and a half later than our original discussion.

I am impressed by the pricing, the layout and the innovative pickup drop off convenience of the truck and easy storage options. I didn't have any issues until I passed the office hours. Around 7:05 my boyfriend tried to ask about the 24/7 service if it applied for the return of the truck. They completely ignored him while he stood at the entrance waving at the 3 employees inside. He asked me to give a shot as he returned to help us unloading the truck inside the drop off interior area. I then went and stood waving for 5 minutes. I had the lady give me the wait signal with one finger. Another gentle looked at me and said something to the gentleman who helped me with setting up my storage (after 6pm). The gentle who helped me with my storage looked me dead in my face twice and later walked around the counter and turned his back on purpose. It's understood that the office hours were over. But I had a very simple question. Does U-Haul 24/7 option apply to my purchase. I called customer service and held for over10 minutes just to ask a simple question. I pray I have no other issues with my belongings being in their care. All was great except for unprofessional behavior, may train employees to explain the 24/7 option when close to closing.

The customer service was the worst I have every experience ANYWHERE. The clerk was VERY disrespectful! And it appears no one is willing to do anything about it. I have filed 2 complaints and may file a 3rd one - my only hope is that management/corporate will resolve this issue quickly before losing any future consumers. U-Haul has lost a loyal customer and more may follow if this issue isn't resolved.

When we got to the storage unit we couldn't use the number to get into our unit, besides that I ask for a 10/20 unit and they gave me 10/10 unit. We had to wait 3 hours to get in touch with Jeremy which meant I had to pay extra for my movers costing me more money than I had. Just the worse experience EVER!!!!!

Would had been worse had we not brought two of our own moving dollies. Card readers not working properly - was not able to obtain working card entry after two cards were issued (and worked properly in the showroom). Access and operating hours are limited and not as published on literature.
