I had to drive 75 miles to drop the equipment when there was a location 3 miles away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the facilities were clean. There were dollies available for moving boxes. My concern was with the security system. The main entrance door didn't always lock after I exited and the alarm always sounded regardless of me entering my code. It seems alarms would be easily ignored if they are routinely going off. It didn't feel completely secured because of these things and seems like an issue to address.

we had one associate who incorrectly advised we could adequately pull a 6x12 trailer when we brought our vehicle in for inspection. when arriving on day of reservation Levi informed us that was not apoorporpate and quickly found us an appropriate trailer to save the day...had the smaller 5x8 trailer not been available it would have been a disaster and a zero star, but Levi made it a 4 star experience

I checked boxes day after put in storage and boxes were in tact. One box arrived safely. One box arrived damaged and it had to have happened either loading box into or out of the transit truck. Lock missing-looks-box came apart on one side and floor inside apart and splintered-many items damaged, broken. Glassware, dishes, furniture- broken/damaged. Someone tried to put back the box back together and bolted from outside to inside through expensive mirror - unable to pull mirror off inside. Items inside were moved around. Who would be so deceptive and deceitful as to not report this issue? I can understand and accept things happen, but whoever was involved in this lacks integrity. This should have been reported and we should have been advised. We had to discover this issue at the new home. WOW! Called UHaul to report. They were unsympathetic and said we needed to speak with insurance company adjuster. They could not get me off the phone quick enough. Now dealing with insurance. This move was for my 86 year old mother who we moved out of state 1800 miles from the home she knows to a Senior Facility close to the family. It has been hard enough helping her make this move. Add to the fact some of her sentimental valuables are irreplaceable. We would have welcomed the opportunity to be advised of the issue prior to delivery so we could have gently broken the news to her. It would not have changed the situation, but it certainly would have been more humane. Whoever tried to hide this is certainly not humane. Thank goodness Mom is surrounded by her loved ones. That is truly the most important thing. Peace...

Rented an auto transporter for local use (70 miles away and return). When I got the vehicle loaded, I found out that one of the tire straps was shredded and too short to be used. Called the store I rented from and was told that I was on my own. Had to call around to find a Uhaul with extension straps, and drive there with a partially -secured vehicle to get them. I have rented from this location several times, had storage units there for months, and this is the first time I have had a bad experience there. Didn't expect no help when I called.

Please ensure quantity of furniture pads are available as reserved. Please ensure steering wheel is properly wiped clean. Please provide sufficient fuel in tank to at least begin the move; less than 1/8 tank is insufficient.

The truck was super dirty with dirt and mud. The lady at the counter over charged me. I was quoted $87 making the reservation and when we got there she charged us $186. Her attitude was very poor. I will not be doing business with this location again. If I need another truck I'll go golden acres or another company.

Not everyone has a working or high functioning cell phone. I think that directing a customer to take pictures of the vehicle and uploading them when necessary is poor customer service. It took too much time and delayed the start of my trip. I like service that doesn't require ME to do the necessary work. I don't blame this particular facility. It appears to be a corporate directive that saves THEM money at the expense of better service to the customer.

the trailer worked perfectly to drive from Sierra Vista to Phoenix to purchase a car and haul it back to SV. My Dodge "Rumblebee" had a Hemi and 9 250 towing capacity, so I didn't come close to having any problem (other than filling the gas tank to the tune of $95!), but this too shall pass. Great help from the staff, much appreciated, especially the hook-up and instructions on how to secure the car to be towed. Thanks guys! Bob

Well the people who reserve over the phone should let the customers know ahead of time that we need to refule the truck and how many gallons the truck holds and the miles per gallon it gets I had no idea I'd be paying over 300$ for fule for a trip I double the distance for 80 it was quite a shock and I had no money so now I owe U-Haul a heafty sum of cash. And I find that ridiculously uncool.

I rented a dolly and I had to go back in to get it cause they gave me a truck without one and no strap to secure it, the dolly was moving all around in the back of the truck till I could get my own strap.

The first trailer assigned to us had a bald tire and one light was not functional. We showed this to the attendant but he still planned on giving us this trailer. We had to request a different one. He should have changed trailers automatically without us asking. Once we requested a different trailer, he quickly changed it for us.

I always felt safe coming into this Uhaul facility, which was important since I left an abusive relationship and this is where my stuff (that I could take) ended up. I also appreciated the staff. They were very kind and helpful. The other think I liked was the little area set aside where you could donate anything you didn't want. THAT was worth the cost of the storage right there. I'd give you all 6 stars if I could.

I'm 71, an Army retiree, 100 % combat disabled, and married. U haul has a disrespectful policy of demanding name, address, and phone number of someone that doesn't live with us. I was forced to go back home and get my address book. So they are not trusting adults? This is an insulting policy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never got to really use the unit- I had a reservation, but upon going and being told that I could upgrade to a larger unit since there were 2, I was told that this local facility can NOT ever reserve anything- once you put your name in your month starts- so when our U-haul truck full of stuff comes across country arriving to put the stuff in MAYBE they will have a unit ready- we do like the first month free - we have 3 weeks between arrival and our apartment opening up. The relative that is here already reserved in June or July and walked in there yesterday to check on the change in actual storage spot. I was briefly reassured after the gruff and irritated correction that the busy season is ending and we SHOULD get one- who knows which size and where.

First impressions are the most important and when I walked into the office, it was so very clean and tidy! I loved the storage size demos in the office that show you what a 5 x 5 or 5 x 10 actually looks like. I thought I wanted a 5 x 5, but after seeing it, I went with the 5 x 10. The gentlemen who helped me out were friendly, funny, and helpful. They set me up on an autopay (because I didn't want to deal with remembering such an important bill) and explained the card key. Added bonus was the knowing there is such good security. I will definitely recommend this facility! Wish I remembered the name of the gentleman who helped me. He was great.

Both rental (Phx) and drop facility (SV) was amazing. Our bonus was the free month storage. So we could PUT our stuff away and not be "PACKED" in our new home. THANK YOU

Levi was excellent and really helped with the check in process. He deserves five stars. I had reserved a storage unit online, only to find that none was available when I arrived. Levi worked to find an available space and ensure that I was able to rent it. It is a concern to me that I reserved a space on line, following Uhaul's process, then after traveling across country, finding that my reservation was essentially worthless. That's a 3 star performance, maybe 2.

I needed help unloading the truck but was unable to do so because the place was understaffed. I'll try again either today or tomorrow but since I can't unload it without help, I'll have to turn the truck in with my belongings and they can trash  it I guess.
