Have the correct padlock key on the keyring. Do better with customer service. Horrible and GHETTO. I am filing a claim with my bank to get all of my money bank.

The guy at the front desk was not happy about his job at all. It took about 15 minutes from getting there before I got the key even though I had reserved the vehicle prior. Then to top it off, I got my bill once I got home and they put 10$ of gas charges when I used the U-Haul for a total of 10 miles and returned it with the same amount of gas in it. Hopefully this was just a one off bad experience at grove road.

The one lady(April?) that helped us was awesome, but the system kept going down and it took almost an hour to wait in line and pick up reserved trailer. System was also down the previous 2 days.

I was charged for a dolly I didn't even receive. I was overcharged for gas when one of the reps told me I would be ok with the gas.

This is unquestionably the worst uhaul I have ever seen. No one at front desk, no one knew where the unit assigned was, overcharged me and the list goes on. Employees seemed like they were recruited under a bridge. Never again.

The radio didn't work properly and kept hearing a noise in the rear of the car. It was a bumping noise especially when I had passagers in the back. But the people that rented it to me said it was fine.

The storage unit was dark, gaps throughout the walls, full of cobwebs and the day I picked up my belongings it was full a tiny roaches. It was absolutely disgusting.

After issues with my original schedule pick up location at Pelham Road, April was very nice and understanding. She offered extra mileage for my trouble having to drive 20 extra miles to this location. We didn't think we'd need it and turns out I went over by 4 miles. She was very helpful and nice.

Do not change the pickup location without contacting the customer. Also, have the equipment READY once it is acquired.

The truck was ok clean the truck had no ac and the rear lights were out so I couldn't see at night. So I had to go get some lights which added to the truck mileage so I had to pay extra for. The previous truck I rented from that location last week had a busted windshield and smelled bad it also had no right headlight so I couldn't use at night so i had to stip working at night and make an extra trip that morning. No refunds were given. I'm sure none of this was documented and I am a frequent renter I normally don't complain but come on this is getting bad. Staff is very friendly at this location I can say

I was not informed of additional fees. charged, after being told there were no additional fees!! AND refused a refund! FRAUD! DONT tell me everything is good and no additional fees, then after I am gone charge me. BAD BUSINESS ETHICS.

On line check in process was simple enough and made my time with the associate at the store very quick. She was very pleasant and professional getting the trailer ready for me and returning the trailer was just as quick with the assistance of the second associate.

Had an appointment at 11:30 to have a simple hitch mounted, they didn't take my car in until 12:45, with the excuse that only 2 people were working, didn't finish until almost 1:30. Didn't call to say they were running way behind schedule and to come later, no communication whatsoever

Manager Ruben Vega is a really nice guy but he is in need of help. I had hitch and wiring done. Ordered on line but only got hitch first trip wiring was not there had to go back second day for a total of my wait time there of 9 hours . To me that is unacceptable.

The truck smelt like wet dog, or an homeless person was sleeping in. There wasn't clean in the driving area. The door would not close all the way somebody's checkbook was in there. That means it wasn't properly cleaned.

The staff was rude, unprofessional, not helpful at all. I've communicated with the staff over the phone and in person on many occasions, all I ever got was unprofessional staff. I know in person I dealt with the male store manager and over the phone I dealt with a female. I also know in person I interacted with a African American woman and a Caucasian woman ALL were unprofessional. I would never recommend anyone to this particular location. I've been a customer with Uhaul for many years and I've used them when I moved from the west coast to the east coast as well as north to south vice versa. I give permission to uhaul to look up my account and see how much I've used there company and never have I ever experienced anything like this location.

Thanks everyone for helping me with my moving/ storage needs. Everyone was patient and kind to me both day and evening staff. And April made sure that I got a bottom storage unit. The guys were very helpful also.

Booked 2 units plenty in advance since coming from Florida and wanted both outside for convince. 1 unit was occupied and no more available. Gave me an inside unit harder to get stuff into. Dirty and missing parts of the ceiling. Have no choice since I had to unload everything that night.

Rarely can you get someone to answer the phone. Even after you've been on hold for 20 min. They said the right person for my question would call me back, but I never recieved a return phone call.

I never encountered a group that was as great as Grove St in Greeneville SC

The staff was helpful in helping me. The U-Haul app only accommodated me for a small storage space for all my belongings.. The staff saw that all my things would not fit into the small storage space, and willingly accommodated me a bigger space for the first month. Great staff and very stress free experience.

Overall this U-Haul center was definitely a blessing with my family need at most. We need a place to store some items really quick. The staff was great accommodating us. When we had to come back-and-forth to add or take things out of the storage unit it was easy comfortable safe and secure. I didn't know how was going to feel about having an outdoor storage unit. But it was definitely a great experience.

Forced to pay things that weren't necessary and the storage floors weren't clean. The staff were ok. The one guy who assisted us with the trailer was great. But the ladies who assisted with the storage were not punctual and typed in the information wrong such as name and ID expiration etc. Overall, bad experience and storage instruction wasn't clear.

The facility was excellent. But I made my reservation over the phone and they reserved the wrong type of room. I got a pull up instead of way indoor. But I am satisfied. If I need to move to a different type of room I will later down the road.

Why would someone design a storage facility with multiple floors and no elevator? I told the lady on the phone when I made the reservations for my truck, & storage I didn't want anything on the second floor, and she booked it anyway. The people who work in the actual store were really helpful, and cool, it is not their fault.

My experience, unbenongst to me started the day I rented. I was not informed that the storage unit was not at the same place the drop off unit was. The staff at the Uhaul on Grove Rd did not inform me either. There were weird vibes so before leaving the 4x8 cargo rental where the cust serv rep told me to leave it, I called the general customer service line. they worked everything out and informed me of everything. I was not to be charged for anything else other than the rental and free month storage. So, now that all my stuff is in this storage unit on Grove...the key card they give me NEVER WORKS. from the very first time. I cant get in or out. I had to visit my storage unit several times and each time the reps were slow and unwilling to assist in getting me in or out of the gate. A cust serv rep ended up giving me a code *2425#...one of the cust serv reps came up to me and insisted I inform him who gave me the number so he could find the breach in the system. Luckily the last time I went to gather all my things, the gate was open. I packed all my things and took them to Public Storage. This was such a bad experience.

Was charged a $20 cleaning fee for a small empty box that was left in the uhaul. Also over charged for gas used. I drove less than 10 miles and uhaul charged me for 2 gallons of gas. Was not satisfied after paying for day use only. Felt like they got one over on me.

Had a bad experience in Richmond, VA. were picked up truck. But when got Greenville,S.C. location everything was straightened out. Thnx to Greenville I was pleased with outcome.

#4. Usually the staff is helpful and friendly, but it depends on who is working. Sometimes, certain employees are not as friendly. My only other complaint is that I have a key card for the gate that I was given when I rented my original unit 100 which no longer works since I closed the second unit 123.

The staff was friendly and the carts inside the storage building are great. Our only problem/complaint is that the map of buildings and storage units given to us was NOT correct and therefore, we had a very difficult time finding our unit. Otherwise, all went well.

When they physically moved units around, ours was facing away from the main area, & it took weeks for a fence to be installed. Then a low fence with no top wires and no cameras installed. NOT SECURE.
