I feel sorry for the folks there. No help, few folks working. I don't blame the people there, it's everywhere; I know their training has had to be minimal, and they have no idea how to really converse with customers. Friendly, yes. Again, I feel sorry for the Grove Road staff.RONNIE M.

Reuben was great. He fixed all the errors that other people made. I was charged for two extra days with the trailer, though I had returned it already. I was also charged for an extra day with the truck and the gas indicator was wrong. All of these charges added up to about 130 bucks. And they were all wrong. I tried calling the local number to get this stuff fixed, and kept getting the national number because nobody locally would answer. I tried calling the manager, and her mail box was full so I couldn't even leave a message. My man Reuben listened to what happened and made things happen. So - this location overall kind of stinks, but Reuben is a good dude, and should be the manager. He actually does his job, and is the sole reason I give this place a review of above average. In fact- I think he was excellent. I never met the actual manager. Seems like she just hides in the back not answering her phone.SPENCER T.

The head manager is the careless person I think I have ever met I will tell all my friends and loved ones to avoid this location. She was very rude to anyone that came in the building often acting like she didn't wanna be there and hated her job and often disappearing to where her employees couldn't find her or customers. She made this trip for me and others a nightmare do yourself a favor Uhaul demote this worker and hire someone who actually cares about their job cause Smith apparently doesn't. The Uhaul app does not work. Even the people working at the Uhaul said the app does not work...the folks at this location are fantastic. I don't understand why companies roll out apps when it doesn't work? it said to check in using the app or get a 20 $fee? how can you check in when it doesn't work? very frustrating. They helped me change drop off location so I did not have to pull trailer around for a day and a half. Service was great.RAYMOND O.
The final location was great. But uhaul customer service is horrible!! I originally made online reservation to pick the truck up in belton sc. Then they call me and tell I have to pick it up in anderson sc. I explained that that would be extra miles that I would end up having to pay for and lady told me they would adjust milage rate to compensate for it. So I go to anderson to get the truck and truck is not there. I call customer service and after 30 minutes she tells me she has bigger truck which I couldn't use because of location I was moving stuff from. So she tells me I have to go to greenville sc to pick up truck which is what we did. But she couldn't reduce the milage rate. So instead of the 30 miles I had planned for mileage on the truck we had almost 80 which was 50 dollars more on top of the extra gas I had to replace in the truck and all the driving I had to do just to get the truck. Worst experience ever with uhaul will diffently look for other options next time I need this kind of service!!!michelle B.

I rented this vehicle for 4 hours and was not able to bring it back in the time frame. It was returned the next morning within a 24-hour period I was charged another 54 $even though the vehicle was cleaned fuel was filled 200 $for that length of time for a 1999 for day vehicle is ridiculous. Yes it was necessary for me to use a U-Haul this time next time I will probably not use the services way too costly for the time frame allowedTELETHA R.

My experience, unbenongst to me started the day I rented. I was not informed that the storage unit was not at the same place the drop off unit was. The staff at the Uhaul on Grove Rd did not inform me either. There were weird vibes so before leaving the 4x8 cargo rental where the cust serv rep told me to leave it, I called the general customer service line. they worked everything out and informed me of everything. I was not to be charged for anything else other than the rental and free month storage. So, now that all my stuff is in this storage unit on Grove...the key card they give me NEVER WORKS. from the very first time. I cant get in or out. I had to visit my storage unit several times and each time the reps were slow and unwilling to assist in getting me in or out of the gate. A cust serv rep ended up giving me a code *2425#...one of the cust serv reps came up to me and insisted I inform him who gave me the number so he could find the breach in the system. Luckily the last time I went to gather all my things, the gate was open. I packed all my things and took them to Public Storage. This was such a bad experience.Lorena C. | Expérience générale
