It would have been nice if the After Hours Service Fee was waived since there was no way to complete the process. Way Understaffed on more than one occasion ..I tried to close my my rented space and the kid told me he didn't know how to do it so I'd have to come back the next day. Another occasion they closed mid day because someone didn't show up for work so the other person just left. I had major issues with renting a unit there .I was offered a unit for a month free but the unit was on the second floor which I absolutely didn't want especially since there is no elevator . If I wanted a free unit that was it or I'd pay an inflated price for first floor . It's way over priced for a small unit ,dimly lit,no light inside the unit ,no numbers marking the hidden unit I roamed around for an annoyingly 20 minutes looking for my space which was behind a closed door that was not marked in anyway whatsoever .Had to go find someone to help me find an unmarked door ! After an exhausting week of moving across country that was the final straw for me dealing with such a poor overpriced set up The kid told me he agreed that was a problem Such a simple detail to fix . FYI Across the street is a hobby lobby .They sell stick on numbers . He warned me The entry door was really difficult to open I was surprised it was fixed the next time I went .The wind was strong and there was no way to hold door open Then the rent went up for an already way over priced space seriously ??? This is the most difficult storage situation I've ever come across The Van I rented was very rickety and unsteady to drive .jeann A.

Was told by customer service that they would give me a credit for the radio/blue-tooth not working and no cruise control on the vehicle rented, the customer service person told me "Not his PROBLEM" and he will not be crediting my account. He then turned and walked away. I have rented exclusively from U-haul over the years and will not be using them in the future if I don't have too!!MARK S.

The "Truck Share 24/7" online checkout did not work at all. The website froze, and the key was not in the van I checked out. This wasn't horrible, because I was able to quickly check out the van inside with the representative, but definitely lengthened the time necessary to get through the process. The electronic checkout needs to be revised and error-checked, as after I submitted my drivers license picture, the app simply froze...Robert S.

I did not return my car after hours and was charged an after hours fee. In fact I returned my car at 535. Also I was charged a cleaning fee when I had zero dirt or food in this vehicle and even marked that the vehicle was in fact dirty upon receiving it. I will be disputing these charges.Jerzy Z.

I returned at 6pm to ask if I could extend the truck until 7am the following morning. I was told that was fine and there would be no additional charge. Truck was returned at 9:30 PM and I was charged $20 for late return. If your employees are going to tell a customer something in good faith, your computes should not overrule them. Truck needs an alignment and sounds like it needs a wheel bearing - not sure; squeals. Barely steers straight. The wrong reservation was canceled by UHAUL. Messed up our whole move. No discount nor an apology was offered. Atlas is the best location.Jennifer H.

They gave my van to another person then gave me a dirty one since they had my order already in their system. The guy working there was consistently on his phone texting and didn't care there were people there that needed help. I felt shoved around and like I shouldn't have been there.Allyson S.
Everything about the experience was smooth. The van drove well. The bathroom inside the building where I rented looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months but at least they had a public bathroom. I went into the location and made a reservation. When I went back a day before I was supposed to pick up the truck they confirmed I had a reservation. When I tried to pick up the truck they said I didn't have a reservation. Insane that your reservation system can't function at all.Travis D.

The poor guy that was working was on his own and no one else was able to help him. We ended up having to wait an hour with only 2 people in front of us. At one point the manager who was on vacation called and said to just lock up the store while there was a line of people out the door. The guy working (didn't catch his name) was doing his best, but just could not keep up on his own.Brandon J.
The person attending the site on Sunday Morning when there were numberous clients was alone. He did a good job and was very knowledgeable and efficient, however, that is too big a facility with too many demands to have to staff it alone.Steven S.

We waited an hour in line before we got helped. The store was severely understaffed with only one person working on a weekend. Waiting in line for an hour when we have an online reservation is unacceptable. Once we were ready to return our trailer, during normal store hours, the store was already closed. We attempted to use the online return system and the link wouldn't work. Very frustrating and time consuming experience altogether. I will not be using Uhaul in the future.Kristen S.

I made a reservation online for a storage unit. Before we left St. Louis to drive the U-Haul truck to Madison Wisconsin to put things in storage for a couple of months for my daughter I confirmed that the reservation was there online and all set. When we actually got to the U-Haul location, we were told that there was no unit available in the size that I had reserved. We were told that the reservation was not really a reservation. Fortunately we were able to divideThings between a smaller unit and we were able to find someone we knew in Madison to let us put things in their house. If it is not really a reservation it should not be advertised as such. Or they should have an option to pay money upfront to actually reserve the unit.Barbara C. | Premières impressions
Everything was great until I moved out and process was done. Then you filled out my information wrong for my unit that I have left in March and had a lien on me for not paying for April and May. For the first number of months there was just one garbage receptacle outside and it was always overflowing with trash. The last two times I was there I notice a larger dumpster that held more garbage.
