There isn't much choice in location. It would have been ideal to rent at the location that was literally next to where I needed to go to pick up a large item. Also, you're online check-in system doesn't work very well. Other than that, the people who worked there were very nice.KIMBERLY V.

Long wait in line to pick up the truck. Only one employee working on a Saturday morning and every computer he used was super slow.ADAM H.
The mobile reservation process was seamless and efficient. If I would have done the in-person process I would have had to wait in long line with only one customer service rep available. I was able to walk past the line and pick-up the keys and go. The return experience was just as easy. I pulled inand was told to just leave the keys the truck and that I would receive an email with my receipt. Everything was accurate and went smoothly. I would definitely use the mobile reservation process again when I need to rent a truck to move furniture again.Travis R.

Motorcycle trailer ramp is too short. I tore the kickstand spring off my Harley loading it because it caught the top of the ramp. Won't rent again.BRUCE C.

Did not have my 26ft truck reservation available.REX J.
The attendant did not attach the hitch connector to my vehicle properly and it came off on the freeway, it damaged the towing vehicle as well as much of the cargo in the trailer. In addition to this the manager of the Gammon rd Madison, WI location was completely unconcerned for our safety and well-being. Due to the trailer's 3rd restraining chain and wiring harness being destroyed in the accident, it was not legally towable and it took the manager 5 days to retrieve it. It sat in my drive way for a week and after many attempts to get the manager to address the situation he replied with â€œit'll be a whileâ€. Not only was he dismissive to my communication but he felt that my situation wasn't important enough to address. I will never be using Uhaul again due to horrible training and customer service. If I could I would rate this transaction a 0/5 stars.Ryan W.

Using the link provided to return the truck after hours did not allow for the location to be found which prevented us from being able to proceed through an online return. This resulted in the 20 $fee being added to our bill for Uhaul to check it back in the next morning. Easy way for a company to pad a customers bill. Not our fault. Wait time for a returned phone call was 57 min. Poor customer service! We tried to solve our problem, but got no help.Jill R.
Location and help was excellent. Roller on the trailer door track broke during the move causing delays in our ability to return the trailer. We were subsequently charged for another day, even though we still returned the unit on the day it was due.Brian B.

Reserved my rental for Saturday morning 9am. When I got there the building was dark and nobody appeared to be there. Stacks of paperwork lined the floors and counter tops from what we could see in the window. The place looked like it had not been cleaned or maintained in YEARS. We called the number on the sign that was posted outside but couldn't not get ahold of anyone. My husband went next door to an adjacent business only to find out that the guy was most likely not showing up till afternoon and we probably wouldn't not be contacted by this person. This was a complete disappointment ðŸ˜ž. I had paid help to get me moved and did not have alternatives so last min. I ended up having to reschedule with a different location and I lost alot of money and time. I would absolutely not recommend this location. Stay away from the Waterloo WI uhaul.Jennifer P.

I did the remote pick up and drop off. While I think it went smoothly in general, I recommend â€œapprovingâ€ the driver in advance so there's no waiting around at the site. I could easily have uploaded my driver's license in advance and provided a reference, etc., so that part didn't cause delay at pick up. It is hard to wait around for approval when you're on a tight schedule with a full day of moving ahead of you. This would really streamline the process. Merci.Anne D.

We were missing all of the dollies and blankets that were requested in our order. We were also not told that they were not available, and had to dispute the charges. This was incredibly inconvenient and made our move more difficult than it needed to be.Shazia K.
Well, I think COVID has ruined Customer Service - probably on both sides. I dealt with a somewhat robotic attendant. Zero customer service. And when I asked him if he was going to come outside to look at the truck with me to make sure there were no dents, etc., he said they no longer do that because of COVID. I had water pooling up in the truck and I had to use several towels to soak up the water so that it didn't damage the contents I was moving. Then the truck I was renting was buried between other trucks and I had to go back in to have the attendant come out anyway to move the truck. I'm glad the experience is now behind me.Peter S.

The pre-checklist where you indicate the gas level is very misleading. I filled it out on the grey line equivalent on the online portal, but was charged heavily for gas use, I only drove 40 miles total? How does that use a quarter of a tank? It does not. Poor app, poor rep explanationMelissa W.

Your online check-in service is horrible. It was a waste of my time; luckily the people in the office were helpful. I was also annoyed that I had ordered a van, the website indicated I would have a van, but I was given a truck instead. Have the Uhaul at the location it's supposed to be to cause less stress on a family's moving day. Don't charge for Move Safe protection when I selected no online AND said no when the Uhaul employee asked me if I wanted it in the store - I hope this isn't being done to all customers in hopes that they don't notice or aren't willing to wait 40 minutes on hold for customer service to refund their money.Lauren F.

When I brought the truck back the lady standing next to me was bring her boxes back. The person behind the counter would not let her bring the boxes back because she forgot her receipt at home. The lady asked if the guy behind the counter would not look her receipt up because he said he didn't have to and would not because he didn't want to. I said to the lady the the guy behind the counter was a jerk. I said it loud enough for him to hear.He also said he was leaving in two week. So he could do what ever he wanted to. I told him I had been in customer service for 20 years, the the way he treated this lady was a piss poor way to deal with customer. I know you probley won't do anything because he's leaving in two week.How about not paying him for the hours he work .,for being so rude. He was nice to me because I told him I would not be disrespected. Someone do something nice to the lady who was not being helped. She deserves the respect that everyone should get however that doesn't seem to be the way of the world.ABBIGAIL S.

The location feels stale and warehouse like. Not very inviting.. it has been this way for along time. COVID has not helped with the barriers and box barricade. All locations feel very lightly staffed and the wait is unwarranted. You are in the service industry. I had to connect my own trailer do to the fact that the only employee working was pregnant. I didn't mind but get her help. You can do better UHaul.Steven S.

The location is well run, large and organized. The vehicle did what it was supposed to do with no issues. The only gripe is that there was an awful smell in the rental; like a combination of unshowered, sweaty BO mixed with a pig farm.JASON R.

I made a reservation online for a storage unit. Before we left St. Louis to drive the U-Haul truck to Madison Wisconsin to put things in storage for a couple of months for my daughter I confirmed that the reservation was there online and all set. When we actually got to the U-Haul location, we were told that there was no unit available in the size that I had reserved. We were told that the reservation was not really a reservation. Fortunately we were able to divideThings between a smaller unit and we were able to find someone we knew in Madison to let us put things in their house. If it is not really a reservation it should not be advertised as such. Or they should have an option to pay money upfront to actually reserve the unit.Barbara C. | Premières impressions
Everything was great until I moved out and process was done. Then you filled out my information wrong for my unit that I have left in March and had a lien on me for not paying for April and May.
