The Manager of this store deserves a knowledge by Corporate! Not only did she take this job in the BEGINNING of the Pandemic , she took over a store that had been POORLY managed on EVERY level . Her and her staff truly have turned this location around. I truly appreciate everything they do for our community. The excellent rating was NOT for your location, it was for Andrew who worked very hard to accommodate us. Apparently the truck I reserved was NOT returned and we weren't aware until we were there to pick it up. At that time you only had a van available which we later found out our fridge would not fit. We came back approximately 11am when we couldn't find a truck to accommodate our move and a smaller truck reservation was canceled and available. We went back to pick up the van to switch out. Andrew did EVERYTHING possible to accommodate us but unfortunately we had wasted 2 hours move time. The truck being dirty was NOT Andrews fault as he was courteous enough to realize that if he mopped out the back it would still be wet and be a danger to someone falling when loading the truck. We did not make it back for return by 5 being we lost 2 hour move time due to the above stated and I called and was told by a woman that you close at 5 so we had to do self check in. I assumed the website had everything we leased and in error clicked that we had utility dolly when we ONLY had appliance dolly and there was no way to go back and change it so we were charged in error for utility dolly that we NEVER had. It should be your policy to make customers aware BEFORE they get there if their reservation has not been returned in order to give your customers time to make other arrangements. I'm not sure if we were charged for being late but if we were, it DEFINITELY should be refunded to us due to being inconvenienced by losing 2 hours move time. You should DEFINITELY have more Andrew's on staff and he should definitely be praised for his EXCELLENT customer service. I will need to utilize your services in October to take new furniture to my son in Columbus and it would NOT be good if this happened again.

Michael was fantastic! Not only was he working alone, he was training a new girl. There were 4 of us waiting, and he was so polite, efficient, and attentive all at the same time. That guy definitely needs a raise!! Kudos to him for handling the entire place on his own!

Make sure the truck get serviced, charge the price you say it is without all the add on's. Don't make customer's jump threw hoops to turn in truck or be charged $20. Not like you all will do anything to fix the issues.

The truck we requested was not available when we arrived at our scheduled time. We had to pick up a bigger truck that we did not want/need at a different location farther away. It was not communicated at the new location what time we were available to pick up the new truck. The new location was very rude in calling and complaining that we were not there to pick up the new rental at a time that we had not agreed upon. We received a $25 discount but that certainly does not make up for the larger amount of gas we had to pay for a bigger vehicle.

The AC was not functioning, no dolly in truck and the moving pads weren't in truck , I drove back to store because 1 hour wait on call. The manager was able to quickly get me a different truck, dolly and moving pads

I wouldn't recommend this location because the lady or young dark haired white girl ( idk her ethnicity. She may not be considered Caucasian, but maybe another white race) who works there is rude as hell. I don't know what she deals with on a regular that alters her mood, but she needs another job. Clearly she hates where she is. We were there about 10am and she was already over it. I pray she goes to school, starts her own business or does whatever she needs to find work she enjoys so she can better enjoy life because her attitude stinks. It's all over her face when you walk in that she's miserable. Beautiful girl. Horrible attitude.

Service the vehicles for running/ driving capacity! Check engine light was on the entire time and possibly the transmission was slipping or something underneath. Need more than one rep working also. Having to wait 30 mins or more in line when you have a reservation is a bit frustrating.

The uhaul was dirty, the windshield wipers didn't work, and the alignment was completely off. Got everything loaded up and when I arrived to my location, after it raining the entire trip, some of my stuff was soaked and ruined. I got to the location and there was no manager to talk to and the person checking in promised one would reach out to me, which never happened. Called the corporate number to talk with someone, said they had 3 days to respond to me, still never heard anything. Will not be using them again.

This is for the company itself. When someone rents a vehicle, and declines to have any moving equipment- they want to use the entire space of the vehicle. When you have equipment in there, taking up space, you are not renting out the full truck. Stop this policy. If I choose to rent woth uhaul again- I will have to make sure the moving items are out of the truck before I leave. I also did not want to be responsible for those items. It was incredibly difficult to fit the items, due to those moving supplies being in the way Thank you.

I tried calling multiple times and no one ever answers the phone. I tried to call and set up a payment or date I could come in and pay for my dead grandmothers things that I had in 2 storage units and they never answer the phone. They called me I was in a meeting for work and so as soon as I was excused I called back and they never answered. My dead grandmothers things were auctioned off.

I reserved a large storage unit when I reserved the truck, and the website said that it would be free for the first month. Then I added on a smaller unit. When my movers arrived at storage I was told they only had the reservation for the smaller unit and they had no more large units available. I had to have my movers take my belongings to another storage company.

The only problem I had was the last month of me storing my stuff there, I was bothered a few different times by another costumer of yours there that had a unit with the number of 842 and he was also drinking down there while at his unit. When I complained to the staff he said I had to call the authorities instyos going and saying something to him for drinking at your establishment. Thank you for reading this.

I never rented anything from uhual in my life When I first got my storage unit the lady told me I could access it 24 hours a day at any time that turned out to be a LIE could not Access weekends or after closing and the place is filthy the so called general manager refused to refund me my overpaid money when I left I paid for a extra month in advanced and when I moved out I left my locker spotless clean and took pictures corner to corner and the so called general manager "Kelly" there said I was not entitled to the advanced months payment I have proof I made she humiliated me in public trying to make me and my receipt look like a lie raising her voice almost screaming further more when calling the local and corporate uhual phone I couldn't speak with anyone else above her to assist me in my local U-Haul robbing me out of the money I AM owed because they have you on hold for hours and when they do pick up the phone your hung up on this has been the WORST experience from a NON Professional local U-Haul I ever imagined I been lied to repeatedly and robbed of the money OWED to me and the place leaks water and is a filthy mess absolutely unacceptable and a lesson learned to say the least I will be sharing my experience here with everyone I know as much as I can so they don't make the mistakes I did going there!!

Messed up 3 business transactions and the guy lied to us and messed with us the whole time. Made us unload a truck in 2 hours when we were supposed to have the truck as long as ai needed. Then acted like a child when my voice raised because I got tired of him messing with us after 45 minutes. Never again.

I was a bit disappointed that the largest unit available (12'x13'x5') was pretty inaccessible due to the stairs (which I was notified about) and the narrow hallway (about 3' wide by 6' tall - which I was NOT notified about). Though I would have been able to fit my furniture in the room itself, it was impossible to rotate the couch in the hallway since it was so narrow and awkward. The smaller units had larger hallways, but the largest ones up the stairs just wouldn't cut it. Unfortunately I didn't even get a chance to fill the unit up since the largest items didn't fit, so I feel like I overpaid. Also, some correspondence from the location mentioned 24-hour access, but the unit is explicitly only accessible from 5am to 10pm. At 10:01pm I was locked out and had to haul everything back home an hour away and extend my truck rental another day. Also, I'm pretty sure I witnessed like 3 crimes during my experience in the area. Warren is a dying post-industrial town, and this location is a bit of a rough spot. I wish I would have known. I can't blame U-HAUL for most of my misfortune while moving, but I think the narrow hallway on the second floor is a significant disappointment to say the least. It's not like I could have seen it ahead of time. I tried to call before I reserved it but I think they only ever have one person in the office and I could never get through. It was clean enough and maintained enough, but it really seems like there must be just one person keeping the place running. All things considered, this is the most convenient self-storage location for at least 30 miles, but I'm glad I know now that I need a smaller unit to fit my large items and that I should plan to arrive while the sun is still up if I want to feel safe.

There was no signage or directions in my e-mails as to where my unit was. When I found the access door, there weren't any maps or directions to as to what grouping of units were where, and the floorplan of the building was a bit confusing (hallways would lead to dead ends, groupings of unit numbers were not in a fluid sequence, etc. This meant I spent about 35 minutes of my move in just trying to locate my unit by wandering around alone in this back warehouse. The facility is very nice, I appreciate the temperature readouts on the walls of the temp controlled units.

Considering I have several heavy items, I didn't think to ask whether my unit was on the ground floor, which it was not. When I asked about switching to a ground unit, I was told it would be an additional $10 after I was automatically charged for a lock although I already had one! I would suggest that your CSRs ask more questions.

A bit pricey

My unit leaked and my dads dresser was ruined. That was the only thing left i had of him. I have washed $75. Worth of wet, moldy, bugs my clothes smelled like a chemical. We let them into our full unit to spray for bugs. I will never use this company again or recommend it. I payed insurance but the manager said it dosent cover that. Wtf does it cover.

There should be more details provided on how the self pick up process works. I had the U-Haul scheduled for 11:30am but didn't leave until later due to the authorization process from the parking lot.

I paid for secure access but there was no fence ever installed so it was wide open to anyone who wanted to wander in. The staff was friendly. It was easy to access the storage area.

I was initially given an outside unit because the person working thought I wouldn't be done unloading before it was time for him to leave. No satisfaction for dangerous faulty trailer towing my car!

I purchased a storage room but did not move in until 2 weeks later they sold my room to someone else and deactivated my key they had to move me into an other unit and I was over charged for boxes

They did a great job. There was just th us one guy that works there that has a nasty attitude and smart mouth. Other than that the service and other worker's were awesome. I'd recommend your services.

Everything was nice except the hours you can use the card and when I tried to check out and give my card back. It was 6:54 pm and it closed at 7 but the two people in there had already locked the door
