The blankets were not placed in the truck and the dolly was broken. The pickup location was over an hour from where I lived. There are two UHaul locations within 10 minutes from where I lived. I reserved the truck nearly two months in advance and prepaid.John B.
Very laid back and friendly staff. They didn't have a van available so I had to rent a 10' truck - but they ended up calling right before picking it up and they found a van for me. It came clean and AC worked great. Merci les gars!John C.

My reservation was changed twice which caused a bit of an inconvenience. The first change was a time change rescheduling my pick up to an hour later. The second change was phoned into me 17 minutes before I was supposed to pick up the truck. This was a location change which cost me another hour delay in getting to work. I understand it is a busy day with move-ins, but I feel that the person who didn't return the truck in time is the one who should have had to wait for another truck. In all, I spent another hour and half in transit to pick up and drop off and coordinating rides to and from Oakland Beach.Janet W.

When I picked up the truck on Friday, I was about 10-15 minutes early. I asked the young guy if I would be charged for that time because it is due back 4pm the next day. I get a call the next day from a guy in the local office (Mr Personality- he doesn't know how to deal with the public) while I'm on the road traveling back and says 'Are you going to have the truck back by 3:40. I then explained my conversation (above) the previous day and he insists it be back by 3:40 but I kept stating my contract is in till 4pm. He needs to get a clue.Michael T.

First experience - Didn't have the furniture dolly that was reserved. Assistant said he'd give us something for our trouble as we had to go spend 50 bucks on one down the road. They refunded the 7 bucks for the dolly and gave me 5 bucks for my trouble.William M.

Used the online order system and this location didn't appear as an option for Warwick. I googled them and was then able to order online. I ordered and payed for a relative. System was easy, great that you have a section on exactly who will be picking up/driving the unit. Move went very easy between online system and great staff at Oakland Beach U-Haul!!!Michael B.

I'm a a dedicated u haul customer for years the last move before this one I was overcharged tha sales clerk added insurance with I denied because I usually use my own and stay local $40 in charges I've never seen the work he did in the computer look 20 minutes later instead of the usual 5/10 minutes I would ask you address this overpaid change and credit my account he was not the usual local great people I normally deal withThomas C.
I was charged a late fee when I did call the store and tell them the bank cancelled my debit card because there was a fraudulent charge on my card. It was not my fault that it takes 7-10 days to get a new card. I called Uhaul as soon as I received the new card.Leona B. | Premières impressions

Everyone on-site was very helpful. The website barely works. The phone system for speaking to representatives was terrible. No one seemed to know what I was talking about when I had questions, I was transferred multiple times to representatives who weren't helpful. I feel the vehicle may not have been properly inspected. During my rental the drivers side mirror fell off of the truck while traveling down the highway and the entire arm kept moving requiring to be constantly adjusted throughout our trip.Luis M.

We have used this location quite a bit and they're always great. App issues are pretty much guaranteed at checkin but the staff is always awesome about helping or just doing the check in manually. Any issues are solved quickly and efficiently. They're just pretty great all around.Kendall G.

The office personnel who checked me in were very helpful. When I returned to empty the storage, however, one the office persons was closing the door when I arrived and asked if there was a restroom I could use. He informed me that the storage building had no restrooms and that they were closed. I would have delayed them 2-3 minutes at the most. After arriving in Rhode Island I realized I didn't reserve a big enough storage unit. When I mentioned this to the gentleman that was assisting me, he not only did what he could to get me a bigger unit, he also informed me that because I relocated to another state I also got the first month free for my storage unit. If I was in a position to improve anything at U Haul it would be the wait time at your call center. I realize there are many customers all attempting too speak with a representative and some if not most could easily access your on line service. But in my situation I wasn't able to get access to make a reservation for my storage. I am not sure if I had spoke with a representative on the phone my issue would have been resolved? Because I hung up several times from frustration of listening to your recorded messages prompting me to use the online service that I could not. The longest wait time was almost a half n hour . My solution was to drive directly to the location . I was pleased with your Staff and the associate who help me reserve my storage unit as well as the simplicity returning your truck the next day .Phyllis G. | Premières impressions
When we emptied the storage bin, I went into the office to close out the paper work I asked if we would get money back since we were closing out a couple of days early would get a refund. My one complaint is that even though I had made a reservation and given my credit card, the unit I had reserved was given to someone else. End result: I was stuck with a unit that is NOT directly accessible from the outside, which inconvenienced me and caused me to pay more for my movers (to pay for the "extra steps").
