this location needs updated computer system did not have my wife's info and my vehicles would now load onto my Equinox for transport to my home on a time crunch your location on S. Post Oak did not have cables to connect lights, they should have it noted that equipment is not in workable condition, than waste my time racing over there for nothing. worst experience I've had with u-haul.
JOE CWould have loved to give all yes's but Marty should tell the heavy set black guy with glasses to be a bit more people friendly. He has a rude side that can be tuned up a bit.

MELODY CI reserved a 10' at the NRG location and they changed my reservation. Now I have to pay more in mileage THEN we get a 20' not a 10'. Somewhere someone messed up the reservation when I called and spoke with someone originally and confirmed a 10' at the NRG Location. I could not drop off at the NGR location either. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

AMANI PAll 3 were very professional: Martin, Linda, and Bryan. Martin puts 1 000 0 % of his all into his profession. I recommend that the upper management needs to reward Martin with a 2 month paid vacation. Why? I've been utilizing Uhaul since 1990 and maybe before. I've never seen an employee go above and beyond like Martin has done for me and every other customer.

Upon my arrival, I was informed that the system was down, resulting in a two-hour wait for a van. Furthermore, I returned the van on Saturday and was subsequently charged for additional days. I am deeply disappointed with the level of service provided and would appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter.

Then I get the bill and noticed the beginning mileage was adjusted down after I returned it. My entire trip was about 50 miles total. I was charged for an extra 100 miles roughly. I did get. a $50 credit due to the inconvenience of having to chase down a truck and you better believe I'm calling customer service about the sketchy mileage situation. Real classy u haul
CHRISTOPHER LI was honestly just passing by to gather information, but after arriving and going in and speaking to Martin we were so excited to get our storage unit there! Martin did an AWESOME job by showing us different size units to give us an idea of how much space we needed for our stuff! totally recommend y'all to come visit them and get a unit there! affordable prices and everything!
MONICA V | Premières impressionswebbing was winch in so tight, it took over an hour to get both loose and free to be straighten out so you could put over the tires to winch thigh. out of that it worked ok. the agent at that location was pretty dumb, had hard time hooking the trailer up with no explanation on how to load the car, etc. i bought a ball and hitch and he wouldn't even put it in the receiver. it was a very hot day and I'm over 90 years old. not a pleasant day.

VICTORIA MThe gas mileage was an overcharge. When I received the truck it was recorded at a fourth on paper. I recorded the correct gas mileage when I did my pre trip. Upon my pre trip I filled the tank to a lil pass the fourth. Why am I being charge over $12 for gasoline? When I in fact filled it up past the line I received the truck.

Burhan NWhen I entered the U-haul office/building, there were two employees conversing. Both employees made eye contact with me then looked away and continued their conversation. I had to say, "Good morning! No one spoke to me when I walked in the door." One of the U-haul workers said, "my apologies, you're right. Good morning." This same U-haul worker then says, "this is our manager" as he points at the other employee. The manager was not warm nor friendly. He seemed as though he was trying to hurry and get me out. He completed the check out and check in for me when I arrived and returned. However, he did not talk me through the process. He just asked for my ID, asked me to sign the contract with a quick explanation that was hard to grasp, and gave me the key. When I returned, he was assisting another customer but still did not greet me when I came into the door. He did not talk directly to me. He instead talk to my male friend about my U-haul return. He told me at the last minute that if I wanted to use debit, there would have to be a $160 hold on my account vs if I used a credit card- it would only charge me the exact amount. Luckily, I am able to run my card as debit or credit because who wants to get charged almost double rather it's temporary or not? Anyways, he's completing my payment process and I asked him very politely, "Will you email me the receipt?" He then answers, with an annoyed tone in his voice, by shaking his head slowly to symbolize a "duhhhh" kind of yes. I believe that he should have asked me if I would like a paper receipt, emailed receipt, or both. I also expect more professional and respectful behavior from a manager. I will NOT be returning to this U-Haul location nor will I recommend it.
Shameelah AThe services reps are not friendly. I understand it's hot but you don't have to be rude. The lady wouldn't let me check the truck before before making a decision on insurance. The truck had a check engine light on. I was told I got get the truck for 24hrs upon calling and reserving. The lady wouldn't let me rent it for 24hrs. She told me I had to bring it back and rent it again even after her Co worker told her in front of me and my wife she could rent it to us for 24hrs. Upon returning the truck the lady there was rude. Never using this location again.

Ismael H | Expérience généraleThis is the second half of the story about the car hitting my home and van: I was at Acura dealer a few buildings over getting a replacement vehicle for the van that the car hit. I called to ask if I could return the truck to their U-Haul location there was a young man that answered the phone and was extremely disconnected from customer service. He instead that I would have to pay a fee to return the truck without having a look at the reservation. I asked to speak with the manager and he too was very rude: I guess he lead by example! prior to getting to the dealer I made arrangements to be picked up after returning the U-Haul tuck and since this location was right there it would save time and inconvenience. I arrived to the store after finishing with the dealer to return the truck and they charged me $230 fee for returning the truck

After the fire, I contacted the office and informed them that I was coming in the afternoon to retrieve any items that were not destroyed. I arrived at my storage unit to find out all my items had been put in the trash and hauled away. Many of my family's personal items and things were gone. This is not a place you want to use. For all the money they charged me for 4 years to be treated like my things did not matter. DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE FACILITY!!!!!

Kian MLinda was the person on the counter dealing with customers. Not only me but for the 40 minutes that I was there in line awaiting to be helped (Normal busy situation not a problem at all) I witnessed Linda be literally disrespectful to every single person she dealt with. When my turn arrived no news flash there, completely rude passive aggressive and doing unnecessary steps making people very uncomfortable. After I had my fair share with her I proceed to complete my move and witnessed again in the parking lot she having an altercation that started in the office with a gentlemen that was only trying to delivery his return trailer, I also saw the same gentlemen trying to deescalate the situation inside the office and when they were outside Linda pretty much threw the paper work at the guy. I work in a industry heavily related to customer service as well and I cannot believe how a person like that is the face front dealing with customers at this level.

richard r | Premières impressionsI have stored my RV here for several years. During hurricane Harvey I also had 2 small storage units rented. On 9/30/21 my RV was stolen in broad daylight at 17:45. Culprit was able to access the lot by tailing in on another customer's access code. On exit with my RV in tow, the gate was locked and he forced his way out, damaging the exit gate after he destroyed my hitch lock. Staff contacted me quite promptly, but security cameras lack range and resolution to be truly helpful. I recommend that additional video cameras be added to the system, perhaps a license plate reader/camera would be enough to read the vehicles of all those who come and go at all hours at this storage. I will be willing use this storage facility with more confidence when the security is upgraded to help out the excellent staff here.

A special shoutout to Ms. Linda, she was very kind and caring she allowed me to save some items in the location's personal storage for a few hours the day my lease ended because I couldn't fit it in my car and the location was closing for the day. The next day I came and retrieved my items, I was very grateful for that kind gesture.

The team politely tried to sell me to go with them instead without being too pushy. They let their personalities, quality, and good prices do the work for them. I ended up switching to them and it was a great experience. Keep it up!
CHELSEA G | Expérience généraleI had issues with the electrical circuit. I was told to change it . And get more powerful cord . Still no hot . . Finally Uhaul realized it was their outlet . IT was changed . Worked for 2 wks great . Then quit again . I ended up plugging into the next outlet next to me . Worked perfect . I only needed 5,hrs of electricity . To much of a hassle . But the personal was great at Helping get issues resolved

Dely A | Premières impressionsThe guy working was really nice and helpful but the woman was extremely rude and treated me like I was stupid for not standing behind the but the reason I wasn't is because the other customer was not standing in the correct spot and I was trying to keep a 6 foot distance from the other customer. Sh motioned at me and basically said don't you see this big protective screen. Like I was stupid. One of the rudest customer experiences I have had. I work field management for a major retailer and I can tell you this if that happened at one of my stores I would have let her go on the spot. Keep in mind that was the first thing she said to me so there was no interaction previous that would have warranted that kind of response . Hope she learns from this and learns to treat people better.
