We were not informed by the pick up location of our mileage limit. It wasn’t until we dropped of the vehicle that the limit was mentioned. So I just suggest that all aspects of the contract should be reviewed upon pick up of the vehicle.

Give cash deposit refunds for transactions made with Direct Access debit cards. I made two transactions with identical payment methods where $60.00 deposits were required by UHAUL. The return refund for the first transaction was given to me in cash. The second transaction was suppose to me refunded to my Direct Access debit card. I have not been issued a refund to my card as of yet, in fact, I don't even think sush a refund is possible, thus the previous cash refund. Now I have to wait up to 72h to find out?

There were two females having a domestic in the parking lot and the staff did nothing about it. The clerk was apathetic and appeared to hate his job. When checkout was complete he simply handed me the keys and said, "Any questions?" Any other time I've rented a U-Haul, they went over the truck and details with me. U-haul moved my pickup location to over an hour away from where I live. This was two days before my move and I am one person. I had to ask a friend to go out of her way to help me get this truck on a workday. Despite being discounted, this was incredibly inconvenient to me and put me into a horrible state of stress and panic before a big move. Never, ever, again. I'll go elsewhere next time.

I would not recommend this location or probably uhaul due to its location, customer service and kind of experienced i had. Incorrect amount being charged, later on cashier paid the difference but if i wouldnt have notice i would have charged incorrectly.

I was irritated by a charge for fuel that was unjust. I drive the truck 16 miles and before I stopped it off I put 4 gallons of gas in the tank. Since I dropped off and didn't stay for the inspection the clerk decided to just charge me for fuel? I would hope 4 gallons of gas would be enough to cover 15 miles. Not really enough to work at a refund, but enough to just bother me about the company.

Loaded all our stuff the night before so the day of the move it was ready. Well it rained that night and the truck was anything but water tight. All of my daughters things including crib/mattress got soaking wet plus a lot of our electronics. I returned it a day early and the kid checking me back in didn’t care at all and after I told him a lot of our stuff got ruined he simply said, “well you’re all set have a nice day.” And walked away from me. I was enraged so thought it best that I just walk away. So I called the main U-Haul number and the woman told me I should call my insurance company, she can’t do anything. Didn't even offer to take $50 bucks off the rental, Unbelievable. I’d rather walk with everything in my hands back and forth when we move than ever use U-Haul again. And with me being in the military I move quite a bit. Thanks for nothing.

I reserved a 6'x12' enclosed trailer. When I went to the location to pick it up, I waited 30 minutes in line before I was told that the didn't have a 6'x12' enclosed trailer because they double booked the only one they had. I asked what other size they had and was originally told they had a 5'x8' enclosed they could rent me. When I went out to get the license plate number off of my truck, I was assigned a new rep who then told me there was no 5'x8' enclosed available. After me becoming fraustrated for standing in line for 45 minutes and getting the run around, they finally told me they did indeed have a 5'x8' enclosed trailer. The workers at this location at the time I picked up worked very slowly and seem to lack ambition. Several times a customer they were working with had to go outside to get something. Instead of helping the next customer on an open computer terminal, the worker jsut stood there and waited for the person they were working with to come back to the store. The workers lacked the ability to multi task to process the long line of customers who have been waiting a long time. I do not understand why Uhaul would double book the same equipment and then not call me and tell me that the equipment I rented is not available so I did not stand in line only to not get what I reserved. Extremely disstatified with Uhaul and how the local guys handled the situation...

Actually mark the correct level of fuel on the van when it is rented out. The van was barely over 3/4 of a tank and it was listed as 7/8, but I didn't notice until I had already left the lot. I hope a competitor opens a closer location so that I can switch to a more honest merchant.

My equipment was not properly checked in by the staff and the I received notice from the asset recovery division. I was 500 miles away and couldn’t get anyone at the local establishment to speak with me. Fortunately, UHaul corporate interceded on my behalf and a few days later I did get confirmation that my equipment was returned. I was truly disappointed in the staff at the location, especially during return. Other customers walked out on them. Management probably needs to retrain or remove the current staff if they plan on having a successful business. I will probably never be back

The parking for equipment is a little tight when you first enter the facility from Pittsburgh Avenue. If you come in the wrong entrance with equipment to return it can get difficult to get turned and aligned properly.

You need leadership, someone who can train the staff and techs correctly, and someone who has the leadership skills to take accountabilty when work is done incorrectly. I showed up with reverse lights, and would be able to show if the GM(Tyler Silbaugh) would have pulled up the camera footage instead of being in a rush to get out of the store. I ended up leaving with NO reverse lights, instead of them fixing, I was handed a $10 bill and told to go to autozone to get bulbs that they claim "were not in my car to begin with" which is bullshit. I had reverse light when I showed up, and Tyler himself said he pulled the car into the garage to have the install done and no lights were on the dash. I ended up showing back up shortly after having to go to auto zone to have them put the bulbs in the taillight housing, with the surprise to the lights STILL not coming on even with BRAND NEW bulbs installed from auto zone. when I showed up, Tyler was no longer in the store, and the associates were left to make a decision to either fix it, or not. 2 associates helped me out one by the name of Trevor, who took the time to help figure it out. but the end of the day I finally left with working reverse light, the same way they were when I showed up. so thanks to Trevor, the guy at the counter and the electrical tech who helped get my car back to correct order. to Tyler I really hope you figure out how to lead a team. take accountablity for your staff, and begin to either take pride in your job, or find somewhere else to work not in a leadership position. because you were more confused then your associates. I own a business in Erie Pa and I would never handle a situation in the way you did in front of my associates. best of lucks guys! -Garrett Ybanez

The uhaul was not checked so when we got on the road the light for the gas cap kept coming on because we were not able to tighten it. Also, the front headlight was out. Once we reached out destination there were so many drop offs and no one to assist we were blocked in a no parking zone. After much maneuvering we were able to park and drop it off. It was not a good experience.

I tried to use the electronic checkin but the keys were not put in the lock box. This caused a long delay when it should have been a quick process and the equipment had to be switched because they couldn’t even locate the keys for the vehicle that was assigned to me in the app. The technology is only as good as the person at the location doing their job correctly. I was quoted on the phone when I booked the uhaul a couple of weeks ago, that the cost would be around $140 plus tax, when I picked it up today, I found out it was $174 plus tax and the girl the counter said it would be $155 then told me she didn't say any number when she printed out my bill and it was $197. The approx. $40 more dollars I paid was not what was quoted me, very disappointed.

Quoted $18 over the phone. 10 minutes later I showed up and he hooked the trailer to my truck. He could find rubber straps for the chain ends nor could he find the connection wire for the lights. He had to pull that stuff off the trailers next to it. He charged me $36. When questioned, he said he told me the wrong price over the phone. Then proceeded to add the $8 insurance directly after I told him not to. Terrible service all around. Wouldnt recommend.

The truck we rented for off hours was not ready, even though we had called to confirm it the night before. We had to wait for an employee to come in and we were nearly late for our appointment with the movers that we had hired. The manager did give us a discount on the truck, which was nice, but we would have preferred that the truck had been ready when it was supposed to have been.

The installation crew could no find the fuse box for the wiring connection on my 2016 Honda CRV. it too over 3 hours for them to install it. Maybe they could prepare a little more in advance for an appointment. Overall, the y ended up doing a nice job, however there are 4 connectors in the spare tire area that were broke off.

Gas was at 1/4 tank and I have to fill up before I did anything. There was stick stuff on the floor and it got on my stuff. The light in the storage area didn’t work and I had to get a light to move during limited visabity. I rented blankets and they has wood chips in the blankets. I was not offered any compensation when I discussed the above issues. I am very disappointed in your standards and your people do not maintain high standards. You need to correct your low standards moving forward

The hallways / facility look clean but my unit had a lot of blue mice pee & droppings in the unit & empty bait box..Lot of clean up needed. On move out, I found a mummified dead mouse. Gross!
